Most TV manufacturers these days ship their products with streaming capabilities built in, and most of them sign deals with existing companies like Roku or Amazon Fire. VIZIO is one of the few that’s decided to go it alone and run everything from their own proprietary software. And you might think VIZIO SmartCast wouldn’t be as well-supported as some of the bigger boys, but you can get Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Apple TV+, Paramount+, Peacock, Prime Video and YouTube TV through it. The only thing you couldn’t get, at least until now, was the Funimation app.
Now you don’t have the plug in a third-party streaming stick (or use a game console) to stream Funimation’s content — you can get it directly from a VIZIO TV. And that means easy access to Funi’s library, and today’s most popular anime like My Hero Academia, Demon Slayer, Fruits Basket, Black Clover, and Attack on Titan.
