Godzilla Vs. Kong premieres in theaters and on HBO Max tomorrow, as you’ve likely heard. One day after that will be the beginning of April, and the streamer has plenty in store for the next 30 days.
Another movie, for one. A little over two weeks after Godzilla Vs. Kong, WB will release the latest attempt at a Mortal Kombat movie. WB gained the Mortal Kombat characters when they bought the studio that made them to create WB Games, and over the past few years they’ve been milking the IP for all it’s worth. Official word is they won’t shy away from the trademark ultra-violence and crazy fatalities of the games, and the R rating reflects this. But you played Mortal Kombat as a kid and you turned out fine, right? …..Right?
On April 11, The Nevers is coming — Joss Whedon half-participated in bringing this tale of Victorian super-ladies to life. And few days later on the 16th Infinity Train will debut its fourth and final season, though the fans are petitioning to change that fate.
