Dug Up E.T. Atari Games To Be Curated At New Mexico Space Museum

Seven hundred of the 1,300 E.T. and other Atari cartridges recovered from a New Mexico landfill will be appraised and prepared at the Alamogordo City Commission decided this week.

More specifically, they are relics of a dark, regrettable time in the history of video games. They are being rightfully display in a museum as a poignant reminder of history's mistakes, for as George Santayana famously said: "those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it!"
