does anyone notice the difference between the songs in kamen rider and the ones presented in sentai. the ones in sentai seem to be light hearted and happier, while the rider songs appear to be more serious.

Yes but less so recently. Both of them have pretty darn upbeat scores to my ears.

Well...It is true that Rider themes are a bit more serious sounding compared to Sentai, but...I have a few counter Examples.

In sentai:

Shinichi Ishihara -- Kyukyu Sentai GoGoV (Kyukyu Sentai GoGoV)
Kumi Sasaki -- JIKU~ Mirai Sentai Timeranger (Mirai Sentai Timeranger)



For Rider, here are a couple of Upbeat sounding songs:

Anna Tsuchiya -- Switch On! (Kamen Rider Fourze)
