The ending of this game might get retconned because Zack is Alive in the remake.

It is bittersweet because Zack died but he also got reunited with Aerith. Makes me wish Afterlife is real. I am not sure if Afterlife is real. While most people are afraid of Ghosts, I am desperate to see one because it will put me into rest that there is afterlife and I won't cease to exist if I kick em buckets.

I won't mind a remake of this game because the game aged terribly with the lack of voice acting and that dated ps3 graphics. They can use the engine of Final Fantasy VII remake for it,
