My screen name is derekwc, hence the derekwc presents. I was mainly inspired by James Rolfe and his Monster Madness Cinemasscre Reviews (also the Godzilla ones are pretty fun too!). I wanted to focus mainly on comic books adapted into tv shows and films. Kind of short synopsis and review with some historical perspectives and tangents thrown in for fun. There is a vast amount of material to cover and I probably won't have access to all of it, but I thought I'd go ahead and give it a shot. I probably won't have a part up every day and they might not all be in order (but I'll try my best). Note: I'm trying to limit my focus to comic books, maybe I'll go back and do comic strips or manga some other day. Hope you enjoy!

History Of Comics On Film Part 034 (Archie's Funhouse) is now up!

I've been working on a lot of the Filmation/Archie type shows over the last few months.

Just finished the first of the 4 I had been working on,Archie's Funhouse.

Also I finally get to share my new 70s Intro (which I am quite happy with).

As always comments are appreciated.

Next up will be Josie and The PussyCats. Stay Tuned!

This one's on another Archie series, but about half of the screen time goes to the "TV Funnies" as well. Broom-Hilda, Captain and The Kids, Dick Tracy, Emmy Lou, Moon Mullins, Nancy and Sluggo, Smokey Stover, and The Dropouts are all featured in this series as well.

Please enjoy and let me know what you think.

Megamind/My Top Ten Favorite Non-Superman Supermen

So I took my mom out for her birthday today and me and my family all went to go see Megamind in IMAX 3-D.

As a fan of Superman I enjoyed seeing a twist on the mythos and particularly liked the culmination of the "shuul" gag with Megamind feeling all "mel-len-co-lee."

Anyway here's a little write-up that the movie inspired me to do.

These are the point five episodes I neglected to do PIP Commentary for before now.

Also I added links to my Cool Sites list including my friend and his fiancee's Web Series that was on the SyFy Channel called the Resistance. You can now watch it for free at youtube.

Also added a web link to the movie series I was just working on called Ceasar and Otto.

It would've been nice if you mentioned that the Green Hornet Britt Reid was originally the Lone Ranger's great-nephew since both characters shared the same creator.
