After attracting millions of players as a video game, Dead By Daylight is looking toward the tabletop market. A board game version of the asymmetrical horror title is in the works, and its
crowdfunding campaign just launched. It has already met its goal with nearly 3000 backers so far.
Like the video game, one player selects the Killer while the others play as Survivors. The Survivors have to work together to search for tools and (in this game) play movement cards to explore the grounds and power up the generators on the board that will ultimately provide an escape. The Killer, meanwhile, simply hunts the Survivors. Whoever successfully escapes the board wins, but if no one does, the Killer wins.
