The biggest news this month is that there’s a new Superman in town…and he looks a lot like a minature version of the previous Superman! The inevitable has happened…Jonathan Kent has aged enough in comic-time that he can effectively take his father’s place. As for why Jon needs to do this, the solicitation doesn’t say (and O.G. Superman seems pretty active in the other releases for July). We suspect the issues of Superman that lead up to this release will explain what’s happening.
Static is back! Virgil Hawkins now has his own book for the first time in a long time. Whether you’re more familiar with the original comic or the animated series that sprung from it, it’s time to get reacquainted with the Milestone world, which is also relaunching in July. We miss you, Dwayne MacDuffie.
