As the latest solicitations prove, DC will be ringing in 2022 with heroics, drama, and a whoooole lot of Batman.
If you want prequels to Batman stories, January is sure your month…we have two. First up is Batman: The Knight. Not Dark Knight, just Knight…because he’s not the Dark Knight yet. The new series is devoted to Bruce Wayne’s younger years as he trained himself to become the world-class detective we all know. Then there’s Batman/Catwoman Special, all about the tumultuous relationship between Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle and revealing it started well before anyone knew (possibly even Selina). The book will contain some of the final released art from artist John Paul Leon, who passed away before Batman/Catwoman could be completed.
