After his body went all ka-blooey in X, X was challenged by the X-Hunters, Violin, Serges, and Agile, for Zero's parts that they took back to revive the deceased Maverick Hunter as a Maverick.

X defeated them, and Zero was built to the form we all know him as.
X Zero
X2-Command Mission Zero

The most notable difference to Zero's new form are his square shoulder pads and his Z-Saber.

Edit: He also appeared in X4 as X Zero during his flashback of his first encounter with Sigma when he was running wild and rampant.

Also note the gold accents on the chest and legs of sword Zero, pretty much making 2nd version Zero a separate D-Arts.

Yeah, The shoulder guards are the most obvious difference, but if you look closely every part of his armor is different in some way.
Overall he's more bulky, and not as similar to X as his first body.

I know that, but I called the shoulder guards and Z-Saber the most noticable because they don't blend with the old model. Stuff like the gold trimmings and such seem to blend in too easily.

Bandai spies might be listening D:

I wouldn't mind a repaint to go with the original Omegamon, its the eventual X3, X4, X4K, X4B, X5, X5B and X7 thats scaring the **** out of me.
