-Cyber Sentai Kikaiger-
Synopsis- The mighty force of nature Devil Eden has crawled out of the depths of the planet to punish humanity for polluting the Earth, bringing them with them the terrible and monstrous Treglants grown from Negative Seeds. All weapons prove useless to stop the monsters until a sole genius scientist alters the bodies of the three young adults Shun, his girlfriend Rinko, and her brother Kiryu. Giving up their chances at a normal life to save humanity, they transform into the Cyber Sentai Kikaiger! Cyborgs with the power to fight back against the forces of Devil Eden!


-Kikai Red-
Name: Shun Takaya
Age: 23
Hair Color: Caramel Brown
Appearance:
• Red bandana wrapped out his messy brown hair.
• Wide eyes and grin. Face both adult and childish at the same time.
• Red short-sleeved shirt
• Baggy Jeans
• Family heirloom pocket watch hanging from a chain attached to his jeans.
Personality:
• Courageous to the point that he seems reckless.
• Sometimes oblivious to his girlfriend’s hints but can also be very perceptive as well.
• Once he gets excited, it’s as if he’s on fire and won’t calm down until somebody throws water on him or whatever excited him is gone.
• Hard to focus his attention to a single task.
• Really likes being around Rinko because of her calming aura that can even cool down his fiery personality.

-Kikai Blue-
Name: Rinko Suibashi
Age: 22
Hair Color: Black
Appearance:
• Long black hair reaching the small of her back.
• Wears denim shorts.
• Dark blue denim jacket over an ocean blue shirt.
• Big glasses.
• Cute and shy appearance overall.
Personality:
• Quiet unless around Shun, then she tries her best to keep him focused on the task ahead.
• Extremely intelligent.
• Can be just as excitable as Shun but only when alone. Otherwise, she’ll faint from embarrassment.
• Very protective of her younger brother Kiryu despite the fact she’s a foot shorter than him.
• Likes being around Shun because the young man pushes her to do things that normally she would be too shy to do in front of others.

-Kikai Yellow-
Name: Kiryu Suibashi
Age: 18
Hair Color: Dyed Blonde with black roots
Appearance:
• Six feet tall
• Long hair reaching his shoulders.
• Very fit.
• Delinquent appearance.
Personality:
• Makes lots of empty threats, especially towards Shun since he’s dating his older sister.
• Physically strong. Even stronger after he becomes Kikai Yellow.
• Not very competitive but being around the fiery Shun causes even him to want to beat him at anything.
• Can be just shy and smart as his older sister but hides it behind a manly exterior.
• Very fun to be around when he’s in a good mood.
• Injuring his older sister is a quick way for him, and Shun, to explode with rage.

-Devil Eden-

Leader: The giant and ancient tree monster Yggdrasil. Cannot move because of his thick roots. Incredibly wise and commands Devil Eden to eradicate every human off the planet. Negative Seeds comes from the flowers growing on his branches. Considers every Treglant to be his child and is saddened whenever one is destroyed.

Monsters: Treglants, which are created when a Negative Seed lands on an object that have tragic histories or are the focus of another’s negativity. An example would be a Negative Seed falling on a camera that took pictures of crime, creating a Treglant with photo-based powers. Normal human weapons have no effect as the Treglant’s have regenerative abilities that heal them in an instant unless the injury is caused by one of the Kikaigers, who have weapons designed to prevent them from regenerating. Treglants also become stronger when surrounded by negativity, like rampaging through the city and feeding the fear of its victims. Strong enough Treglants can assume a human appearance to help them exterminate humanity.

“Make My Monster Grow!” process: Yggdrasil senses the death of a Treglant and uses his powers to cover the remains of the monster in Negative Seeds. The Seeds absorb the Treglant’s negative emotions at its death and revive it, turning it into a giant in the process.

Mooks: Twigs, created by Negative Seeds that failed to grow because of a lack of negative emotions. Has the appearance of a young man made out of wood with claws for hands and faces made out of cracks. Sometimes, Twigs will purposefully create an object filled with enough negative energy for a Negative Seed to successfully grow on. One Twig is capable of multiplying itself by spreading Negative Seeds and creating an army of Twigs.

High Ranking Treglants:

-Ivylier-
Profile: a monster created when a Negative Seed fell on the rusty armor of an old samurai who died in battle. Has the appearance of a samurai with a body made out of poison ivy. Thanks to the influence of the samurai armor the Negative Seed fell on, Ivylier has the personality of a samurai with unshakeable loyalty to Yggdrasil and an impressive sense of honor. Poison Ivy.

-Castor-
Profile: A monster created when a Negative Seed fell on the glasses of a college student. Has a body made out of plastic, glass, and leaves. Incredibly intelligent and extremely poisonous. Doesn’t care about his fellow Treglants and actually likes human technology as long as it doesn’t pollute the Earth. Yggdrasil knows about his fascination with human technology and allows him to study it to aid in the extermination of the humans. Castor Oil Plant.

-Mistle-
Profile: A monster created when a Negative Seed fell on the guitar of a failing musician. Has the appearance of a rocker with dandelion petals for hair, accessories made out of mistletoe, and a body of vines. Loves playing on his guitar carved from one of Yggdrasil’s fallen branches and commands the insects of the earth with his music. Openly sings about his love for Venus and her beauty. The most likely to help out Treglants when they fight the Kikaigers. Hates the Kikaigers because they wish to destroy Yggdrasil and possibly prevent him from playing his guitar. Mistletoe and Dandelions.

-Venus-
Profile: A monster created when a Negative Seed fell on a beautiful young woman who had recently passed away thanks to a car accident. Is the only Treglant that has a human appearance without assuming one but her true form has clothes made out of plants and Venus fly traps for hands. Can choose to take on a more monstrous form if wanted. Venus doesn’t tell her comrades but she currently has the memories of the deceased woman whose negative emotions she feed on to grow. Is very annoyed by Mistle’s advances. Venus Fly Trap.

Gimmick: Key Cards “Cyber Cards”

Transformation Device: The Cyber Slider, a silver bracelet equipped with a card reader for the Kikaigers to slide their Cyber Cards and either transform into the Kikaigers, summon their weapons, or add new powers to their current weapons or abilities.

Cyber Cards:

• Inferno Cyber Card: Transforms Shun into Kikai Red and gives him fire-based powers. Sliding the Inferno Cyber Card through the Cyber Slider again causes Shun to gain access to his finishing moves.

• Freeze Cyber Card: Transforms Rinko into Kikai Blue and gives her ice-based powers. Sliding the Freeze Cyber Card through the Cyber Slider again causes Rinko to gain access to her finishing moves.

• Diamond Cyber Card: Transform Kiryu into Kikai Yellow and gives him rock and metal-based powers. Sliding the Diamond Cyber Card through the Cyber Slider again causes Kiryu to gain access to his finishing moves.

• Armament Cyber Card: Summons the Kikaiger’s individual weapons. The Blaze Cy-blade for Shun, Cool Cy-gun for Rinko, and the Power Cy-saw for Kiryu. Can also let the Kikaigers summon their own version of their comrade’s weapons.

• Finisher Cyber Card: Combines the Kikaigers weapons to create a powerful weapon to finish off Treglants. What form it takes depends on which Kikaiger weapon is used as the main part. Example would be Shun’s Blaze Cy-Blade becoming the main part, creating a powerful sword made out of fire and energy.

• Gattai Cyber Card: Combines Cyber-01, Cyber-02, and Cyber-03 into the strongest weapon in the Kikaiger’s arsenal, Kikai-oh.

Mech: Kikai-oh, Cyber-01 through 03.

• Cyber-01, Cyber-02, and Cyber-03: the individual mechas of the Kikaigers. Each one is humanoid in appearance and copies traits from its pilot. Cyber-01 has Shun’s fire powers, Cyber-02 Rinko’s ice powers, and Cyber-03 has Kiryu’s rock and metal powers. When the Gattai Cyber Card is used by all three Kikaigers, each mech combines into the strongest weapon in the Kikaiger arsenal, Kikai-oh

• Kikai-oh: The strongest weapon in the Kikaiger arsenal. The powers and appearance of Kikai-oh depends on which Kikaiger’s mech forms the torso. Shun’s Cyber-01 takes the main most of the time, giving Kikai-oh his fire-based powers. Other than that, Kikai-oh is equipped with the Tech Lance, a weapon capable of launching Treglants into space where they explode and spread their poisonous clouds of pollen harmlessly.

So who will be the Extra Rangers? o3o And the mentor figure? Is it weird to imagine a talking beetle as an ally?

Right now, I got an android becoming one of the Kikagers later on and the mentor of the team will be the old genius scientist who turned the three into the Kikaigers and made their weapons.

And how's a talking beetle fit with the theme? It fit better with the bad guys.

To note, the beetle would be more of a robot and in classic Sentai, the little people (fairies) were allies to the Rangers so why not bring that back a bit with some kind of tiny robot beetle?
