Critical Role Expands Deal With Amazon To Create Mighty Nein Series

Liveplay podcasts are one of the key reasons tabletop games have broken into mainstream culture, and the biggest of these is Critical Role — in fact it might be a little TOO big. The archive of episodes stretches back to 2015 and numbers in the thousands, and you can’t just pick up any episode and join in because they’re all connected. It would benefit Critical Role greatly if the immense storylines they’ve cooked up could be condensed in the form of a TV show…ah wait, it already happened.

Yo, you hear about the Mighty Nein? These guys ain't no ordinary Joe Schmoes, they're heroes through and through, awards or not. The kingdom's future rests on their shoulders, and I got faith they'll handle it like bosses. I'm tellin' ya, when they save the day and bring back law and order, it's gonna be somethin' special. I was first introduced to these guys through the Critical Role campaign, and they hold a special place in my heart. This news is bringin' a tear to my eye, I can't wait to see their story come to life on the Amazon Prime and shared with the masses.

The news of the Mighty Nein adaptation being greenlit has quite simply left me in a state of disbelief. I simply cannot wait to witness this wondrous tale brought to life on the small screen. It is an absolute thrill to know that soon, the world will be able to experience the daring adventures of this misfit crew and the importance they hold in saving the kingdom. I am beside myself with excitement, I can barely contain my glee!

Let me tell you, man, the Mighty Nein kept me calm throughout the entire Pandemic craziness! I started playing their adventures, and oh, I freaking adore these characters So Very much! It's one of the best tabletop role-playing games out there! I had anticipated having to wait until Legend of Vox Machina's conclusion to see more, but man, I'm so happy for Critical Role and their accomplishments! And, guys, guess what? The things are still being delivered by Amazon Prime! There is so much excitement, my brother!

Allright! I gotta say, Vox Machina was sick, but the Mighty Nein was my intro to Critical Role. When I backed that Kickstarter, I was HOPING it would do well enough for the Nein to get their own show too. So hyped to see that come true ;v; Love y'all, can't wait dude!!!

Let me tell you, folks. Vox Machina certainly has a special place in my heart, but the Mighty Nein? Well, they've really stepped up their game when it comes to character growth and imaginative storytelling. These are the hallmarks of a truly great production, and I can tell you right now, this show is going to be a real tour de force. I have high hopes for what's in store, and I'm confident it will deliver in spades. You can take that to the bank!

Gyaaaah!
So excited to witness Caleb and his fire wall, Beau's killer T-Rex punch, Yasha's knock-out in the arena, Jester's cunning against the hag, Molly just being Molly, Nott and Fjord's water fight, and Essek's powerful dunamancy. There's just so much amazing content to bring to life through animation. I was honestly worried we wouldn't get to see the Mighty Nein until after Vox Machina, but now having both these shows at the same time? That's just next level cool, my friend.

Me too! I also I'm hyped to see Caleb's fire wall, Beau's T-Rex punching action , Yasha's fights, Jester's deceptiveness, Molly being Molly, Nott and Fjord's water fight, and Essek's dunamancy brought to life on screen. This is going to be sooo epic!!! I can't believe we get to see both the Mighty Nein and Vox Machina at the same time, this is going to be the best thing ever

By the gods, I am elated! The Mighty Nein and Campaign 2, animated for all to see? This is a dream come true, an absolute delight for me. I cherish them both beyond measure.

And, let me tell you, the realization that Vox Machina still has a third season and possibly more to come, even films to tie up the main story and all the one-shot and after-story material... This is beyond astonishing. This is a true marvel. I am in awe.

It's quite obvious to me that Amazon Prime is poised to become the new king of animated content. The sheer volume of upcoming animated offerings on the platform clearly demonstrates their commitment to this market. Unlike the inferior Netflix, which shamefully floundered in their attempts to corner the animation market, I have faith that Amazon Prime will not only pick up the slack, but elevate the entire industry with their unmatched capabilities. It's only a matter of time before the masses come to recognize their superiority in this field and the success of their projects leaves all others in the dust. I fully expect Amazon Prime to not only meet, but surpass all expectations and revive long-forgotten projects with ease.

Puh-lease. Don't talk to me about Amazon Prime and their so-called 'animation hub.' Mighty Nein is vastly overrated Table top, and the whole concept of it being the next big thing is just a ploy to get people to subscribe. I mean, come on, the animation quality of Amazon's cartoons is subpar and the storyline is lackluster at best. The only reason people are even talking about it is because of the hype machine. Don't fall for it, there are much better options out there.

I respectably disagree with your claim that Mighty Nein is overrated, however I can see why you might not be a fan. Despite all the anticipation, the show has gotten a ton of praise from critics and built a sizable fan base thanks to its distinctive blend of comedy, drama, and exciting adventure. The show's unconventional and innovative essence is excellently captured by the animation quality, despite it not being traditional. The tale is also beautifully constructed, with well-rounded characters and unexpected plot turns. I think it's crucial to appreciate diverse kinds of art and to keep an open mind, and I definitely feel that Mighty Nein deserves to be counted among the greatest.

I thought Vox Machina is based from a comics, I didn't know its an adaptation of a table top rpg.

Just my 2 cents, I gotta say, Vox Machina is the real deal. I never thought I'd get into an animated show, but this one has me hooked. The characters are badasses, each with their own unique skills and personalities. The storyline is packed with action, mystery, and drama. Plus, the animation style is sick, it really captures the gritty, dangerous vibe of the show. I mean, when you've got a bard who can fight with a lute and a rogue who can pick any lock, you know you're in for a wild ride. I never thought I'd say this, but Mighty Nein has become my favorite show, hands down. I am sure Mighty Nein will be as awesome.

Cant stop smiling that the tremendous success of Vox Machina has allowed for funding of another remarkable creation from Critical Role. We can expect a truly exceptional series, as the telecasts offer a wealth of compelling storytelling and showcase the best moments from the campaigns. I am confident that Mighty Nein will deliver the same level of excellence and captivate audiences just as much as its predecessor.
