He’s fanged, he’s unstoppable, and he’s covered in hair: developer Pixelgogo announces their passion project, Super Catboy. The action platformer is headed to PCs early next year.
Super Catboy and his sidekick Weapon Girl are on a mission to defeat the plans of the nefarious Dr. Ungefug. Is that a name or the noise Catboy makes when he’s coughing up a hairball? Anyway, this throwback to the days of mascot platformers has everything the classics came with: power-ups, lots of levels, difficult jumps, and of course, lots and lots of unnecessary tude. You’ll need mad skills to tackle this adventure.
“Being born in the 90s and growing up with titles like Megaman X, Super Mario World, and Donkey Kong Country, it was our dream to make a game that we would love to play ourselves.” said Thomas Flachs, Pixelgogo Co-Founder. “We hope the players have as much fun playing Super Catboy as we had developing it.”
