Coming to HBO Max, Locked down
This January 14, 2021, HBO Max offers as a Valentine treat a month earlier because why not?
We are happy that 2020 is over, but this January felt like the 32nd of December because we are still dealing with the pandemic Unless you are from New Zealand.
Anne Hathaway and Chiwetel Ejiofor stars in an HBO Max original that is very timely. The title alone is relatable enough for most of us. No Pun intended but Locked down is the title of this film. It is about a very dysfunctional couple who are about to break up. They want to move on their separate ways but Coronavirus happens. So they have no choice but to stay together.
The story happened in the early days of the lockdown last year. It is something easy to relate to because we experienced it. The scene where Linda (Hathaway’s character) have to fire people from their job online because her boss told her so, hits some heart strings. Many people lost their jobs last year while others adjusted...
