Clips of the Sentai version before/during/after filming?

I've always wanted to know this

During Ninja Storm's filming did you and the other cast members and crew have any oppurtunities to watch clips of the original Sentai source?
(in this case, Hurricanger)
If so, what for?

No we didn't - not that I remember anyway. I think Doug might have showed us a couple of sequences early on - but that was about it. It was pretty clear that we were to make our characters our own and to start from scratch.
