Sometimes I wonder if I will be happy in this life again. Welcome to part 10.

Episode 37:

Three boys place a box in the road just as Nekomaru drives by. It stops and the Kakurangers investigate. Turns out to be a punch of fireworks the bots set off followed by tar throwing. The men give chase, but are met with traps. Ninjaman shows up to tell them to knock it off before shrinking to human size. He then rides his nimbus cloud away. Cut to Daimo somehow learning of the kids' prank and amused they fell easily to it. During this some woman is dancing with the dorodoros while saying she wants to make Daimo's one thousandth two hundredth birthday a good one. Daimo states he wants to use the pranks against them. After that, the Kakurangers talk to one of the kids they caught, briefly scold him, and says they want his friends latter. The other two spy on the Kakurangers as they wash their clothes, being nervous, when the dancer shows up wanting to help them. They use a hook and wire to nab the Kakurangers' shows, catching them off guard with dorodoros attacking. Yellow, Blue, and Black chase them, but the two have flying shows and left sharp rocks on the ground. Red follows the dorodoros and the dancer is revealed to be Karakasa who states she is based on western umbrellas. Yellow, Blue, and Black show up with dance shows on and are forced to dance with the two boys before the shoes make them run via fast forward. Red chases them and Ninjaman spots them, the latter jumping on Black so the former can remove them. The shoes come off on their own and Ninjaman crushes them. Ooh, new eyecatch!

Daimo is annoyed at Karakasa not accomplishing much, but laughs maniacally anyway. During this, White tells Red and Black it is Daimo's birthday. They decide to track Karakasa down via the shoes Ninjaman caught. The party begins and a toast to humanity's destruction is said with the ending theme playing in the background. Yellow, Blue, and the two boys are dancing with dorodoros against their will and it is amusing. The tracking of the shoes is attempted which leads them to an abandoned building where the yokai happen to be. They sneak into the kitchen where the cake is being prepared. Karakasa says to bring it out and it is done so in a big present. However, out of it comes Red with White and Black appearing from under sheets. Red demands to settle it when Karakasa has a cage drop on them. Daimo predicted they would come and suggests cutting them up with wasabi sauce. Ninjaman appears, shrinks to the size of a toy, and tickles Karakasa until she lets go of the cage remote. Hakumenro disables a circuit breaker, causing the area to go dark. The shoes are removed and Ninjaman makes himself known before all the Kakurangers transform to strike a pose. Daimo grows with Karakasa because why put up with this? The god mechs are brought out to form KDS followed by Ninjaman growing. Karakasa holds her own while Daimo fires a whirlwind from his staff. MS shows up in a lightning storm followed by TM- Wait, why is White surprised he is alive? Both combine into Super MS and go cannon happy, making Daimo angry and teleport off while Ninjaman goes after Karakasa via turning into Samurai Man. A Samurai Raging Bomber is thrown followed by KDS using the Iron Fist, destroying her. The episode ends with the Kakurangers telling the boys to go study and play sports rather than pull pranks, but they just throw fire crackers; also the triad and Ninjaman just look at them. Next episode shows people with horns on their heads, Black in a cowboy outfit, and Ninjaman bullfighting.

Karakasa: Powers include a human disguise, possessive dance shoes, and an umbrella

Episode 38:

People run from a yokai on a jeep shooting at them, upon being shot they grow horns on their head. The yokai is Ushioni and his history states he is an oni with a bull face and like bashing humans. After that he says he will turn humans into yokai to become thieves of gold and silver as we see them with pronged staffs robbing banks. Ushioni says to Daimo the gold and silver will be made into a theme park named Onigashima Land. To be fair gold is sturdy and silver isn't magnetic so it would protect machinery from magnets. Ushioni goes on another rampage, among the victims being a mother defending her kids. After that she joins a brigade to steal jewels and even knock down the Kakurangers. Ninjaman jumps down to help them, nearly strangling the mom which the kids shove off. The Kakurangers tell Ninjaman the people were changed by Ushioni and he goes after the yokai instead. During this we see a guy on roller skates on a cowboy outfit riding along, eventually revealing to be Black, out American ninja. He shoots the dorodoros in Ushioni's jeep and the two have a gun fight. Ninjaman interferes and gets headbutted, allowing Ushioni to run away. Black scolds him, but Ninjaman gives chase anyway, busting down walls along the way. After that he knocks over the possessed human crowd including the mom, much to the panic of her kids and the Kakurangers. White thinks she should be brought to the hospital and is asked by Red to do so as they continue the chase. Black follows Ninjaman and lassos him.

The mom is taken to a hospital where Ninjaman is told by Black to apologize. The kids hate him and cry for their unconscious mom, causing him to shamefully walk out of the room. After that he sits on a park bench looking at kids when Black talks to him. Ninjaman feels horrible if kids hate him to which Black replies everyone makes mistakes. He then runs away just as Black is told where Ushioni is as he guns down the others by the docks. Black shows up via skates and in his cowboy outfit for a rematch. A can knocks over and both exchange bullets that graze each other, Ushioni getting hit. The Kakurangers transform and Ushioni's horns grow upon getting angry which in turn makes his victims angry and more muscular including the mom. This is because of Red's costume because of the whole bulls hate red myth that Mythbusters disproved a decade or so ago. Red gets thrown around and Ushioni runs off just as White shows up. Ushioni takes his human pawns to his construction site on the beach while Black tells the others to give Ninjaman a chance because the kids hate him. Later, Black and Ninjaman face Ushioni at his construction site on the beach, the latter going after the yokai. Ninjaman takes out a red cape to bull fight as Carmin plays in the background and ends with a ninjato to the abdomen. The Kakurangers transform and use the Kakuranger Ball, but Ushioni uses the yokai enegry to grow big with Ninjaman following. The red cape is used, but Ushioni just shoots at it. Ninjaman is called a novice which enrages him to become Samuraiman. The Samurai Javelin is formed via ninjato and sheath combining, although both seem evenly matched. The Kakurangers bring in the god mechs to become KDS and use the Iron Fist to end him although the Samurai Javelin being used at the same time helped causing him to explode. The humans are turned back to normal with the kids reuniting with their mom. The episode ends with everyone including the kids thanking Ninjaman and the Kakurangers laughing in amusement at the happy ending. Next episode shows the narrator coming back for a special episode and the Hanarangers in a locker room.

Ushioni: Powers include a rifle with his genetic material, twin head horns, and a revolver

Episode 39:

Dorodoros lead by a yokai attack people with weapons that cannot cut clothes. The Kakurangers show up and the yokai is revealed to be Nopperabo, a feared killer in the olden days. The Kakurangers transform and fighting breaks out. The narrator appears from a trash can and and bonks a couple dorodoros. He tells the audience that in this special episode he will be giving coverage as we see the shark machines for the first time in a long time which ram into Nopperabo via Shark Driver, blowing him to pieces. The next day the narrator and his crew spy on the Kakurangers at 6:00 AM, at one point tickling Black's nose as a prank. He notes White sleeps in a separate tent and wakes up to the narrator being a perv. Nekomaru is given a look as we see oars, the kitchen, and a remote that controls the windows and we find out there is an old timey cannon on the roof that goes off. That afternoon the Kakurangers serve crepes to customers with the narrator and crew watching. This turned into a cooking show although granted who doesn't want a ninja cooking show? Dorodoros are spotted after the narrator notes the men doing painfil things. After that is black and white stock footage to remind the audience of the plot as the dorodoros run through the forest. He even states all of the yokai names so far except for the one in this episode. The narrator is lead to Daimo's house which has no security although it is foggy as hell. He opens a door to see the Hanarangers swimming in an indoor pool, the narrator noting that they were cats once that Gasha made more humanoid. He uses a probe camera in to get a better look at them before moving onto Hakumenro and states he is working for humanity. He then spies on Daimo as we find out Nopperabl was stitched back together and is still alive. Daimo gives him new power via palm beam creating guns to attach into his body. The narrator says this is clearly bad when Daimo smells them, causing the dorodoros to catch the narrator and throw him off a bridge. He catches a tree branch before falling.

Nekomaru wanders the quarry where Nopperabo and the Hanarangers wait for them followed by transforming. Chains restrain them and Nopperabo prepares to fire, but Red has Nekomaru fire the roof cannon from earlier and chomps the chains. The Hanarangers transform to fight the Kakurangers and oh boy do they lose hard. Nopperabo attacks Red, but his slice attacks out does him. Nopperabo throws a fit and grow giant sized from the yokai energy followed by god mechs being summoned, Red bringing in his previous two mechs to assist him in fighting the yokai. Once assault latter and Nopperabo is blown to pieces- OH SNAP HE REFORMS! Also a turret gun in the right shoulder is fired before Ninjaman shows up. Nopperabo says novice and Ninjaman becomes Samuraiman followed by TM showing up so Super KDS can be formed. Samurai Raging Bomber and Iron Fist are strong enough to take out- Nope just more reforming. Samuraiman has his stomach just long enough for him to explode and stay down for good. The bruised narrator ends the episode via cheering the heroes on. Next episode shows kids being kidnapped and White saving them.

Nopperabo: Powers include ground chain summoning, teleportation, a left wrist 6-barreled machine gun called the Nopperabo Machine Gun, Nopperabo Missiles from the left knee, and the Nopper Gun in the right shoulder

Episode 40:

Two girls train in martial arts with bo staffs unaware of the haunted fox statue watching them. It then turns into a yokai named Kyubino-Kitsune or KK as I will call her for the synopsis. One of the girls heads home after practice, detouring through a flower field in a vacant lot when she hears howling. Dorodoros wearing fox masks are the source with KK showing up. She finds it remarkable because she is a nine tailed fox. Cut to the Kakurangers bringing up the mentions of recent kidnappings of kids from people in fox masks that want big ransoms. The girl from earlier informs White what is going on and leads her to the field. The nine-tailed fox mentioning has White know who KK is as she has a history of wondering India and China (or she is a member of the Evilution Empire that got exiled, but that is just me). We find out that among the victims is the girl's brother, Shinichi; also her name is Sakurako, forgot to bring that up sooner. She wants to help, but White refuses although her spirit is in the fight place so she gives her a bow. Suddenly rain causes them to flee under a bridge. The men get caught in the rain although Red notes it is a sunshower which means KK must be getting married.... WHAT!? After the shower, Sakurako sees an old timey convoy carrying a small person in white and a purple box going "boo". KK talks about how great her wedding will be as we see a flashback of her in human form tricking Shinichi into going to such wedding. Also plans to capture White and a new transformation effect. Sakurako tells White about the wedding convoy which walks by them to an abandon building where they teleport off- No, wait, they just blend into the wall before attacking. White takes out the mooks with Sakurako holding her own against them although one nabs her and runs. The men show up to help so White can follow. She spots her passed out on the sidewalk, but it turns out to be KK in disguise. She places a mask on White to make her pass out as we see Sakurako taken to the other captured kids.

KK demands money Daimo promised her and he mentions how greedy she is, unaware her money is really leaves. Daimo doesnot care as he plans to rip White's heart out as seen in his day dream. During this the dorodoros are distracted by fox masks used by the men. Once the grunts are taken care of they rescue the kids and Red reveals the ribbon White gave Sakurako earlier had a transmitter. Meanwhile, White is tied up at KK's hideout and talks about how great Daimo is and such. Also real estate until White unties herself before transforming. The men show up to help and KK's crystal ball blows up with enough force to destroy the skyscraper. Everyone survives although KK uses mouth flames and her coiling tails. The Kakurangers put their swords together to form an energy surge followed by the Kakuranger Ball. The yokai energy has KK grow only for Ninjaman to show up and show her whose boss. Insert novice insult and Samuraiman transformation here. The god mechs are brought out to form KDS with TM making him Super KDS. A Samurai Raging Bomber is fired followed by the Iron Fist terminating KK. The kids are free with Sakurako and Shinichi eating crepes with a sunshower occurring until they find out it was Black pouring water out of a gardening pot. Next episode shows an old man spying on his grand kids.

Kyubino-Kitsune: Powers include a human disguise, nine strangling tails, mouth flames, a rifle that fires lipstick bullets, and a sword

My mental and emotional injuries carry onward. With that said here is part 11.

Episode 41:

The Kakurangers train in the woods. Some boy throws an apple at Yellow. A sister named Hanada and her brother Shinya comes out from the trees saying they have been watching them train. Insert backstory of father abroad and dead grandpa here. Yellow agrees to help them before cutting to a flying lantern that summons ghosts. Said lantern turns into a yokai before summoning five dead people. We find out his name is Chochin-Kozo or CK as I will call him- DON'T YOU DARE POST JAY AND SILENT BOB STRIKE BACK REFERENCES. The ghosts are sent to steal jewels run people over, shoot at people (with bazookas), and steal food. The Kakurangers find CK who in ancient times liked scaring people. He handpicked ghosts attached to this life to fight the Kakurangers and they promptly get the tar beaten out of them. One even eats a pair of shurikens. Cut to Shinya running from Yellow when one of the ghosts attacks Yellow.... Who happens to be the dead grandpa mentioned earlier. After that CK tells Daimo he will summon ten thousand ghosts. Daimo calls out his stupidity by pointing out that the dead grandpa has no use. CK finds out this is a mistake and intends to correct it. Later, the Kakurangers talk a bit and spot CK following the grandpa. CK reveals his plan and the grandpa tried to foil the plan by being resurrected himself (although mostly to see Shinya again). Ninjaman shows up to help, specifically to take the old man away. They see Shinya being bullied and Yellow stops them by saying the dead should not interfere because.............. Moral high ground. He accuses the grandpa for sheltering him as his big sister scares the bullies off although Sinya runs away soon after.

Shinya looks at a pocket watch with his grandpa's picture in it. Yellow goes over to comfort him. He then says he is not sure if he can be capable, but Yellow gives him words of encouragement. However, the ghosts nab Shinya and demand his grandpa come back or else he will die. Both the old man and Ninjaman see CK holding him hostage, the latter jumping down to fight. CK sprays him with mouth flames which are quite damaging, but Yellow uses this chance to sneak up behind the yokai and take Shinya back. However, he discovers his pocket watch is gone and goes after it despite dorodoros showing up. That kid has guts. Yellow helps him out and tells Shinya that he is finally a man since he had the courage to save his grandpa's watch. The Kakurangers transform and the murderous ghosts are summoned, Ninjaman notably getting the worst. Yellow jumps to charge, but that flunks. He tells Shinya to take his sister and run. His grandpa cheers him on from a distance before teleporting over to CK as the Kakurangers are down, turns into fire which scares the ghosts, and rams into the yokai which allows Red to do a slash attack. CK has the yokai energy grow him and the Kakurangers bring in their god mechs to become KDS with Ninjaman joining them. Novice insult and Samuraiman are done followed by Samurai Raging Bomber and KDS fusing with TM to become Super KDS complete with the Iron Fist which destroys CK. The episode ends with the old pocket watch working and Yellow tells him to head for the future without looking back; also the old man's soul is still around, we did not see the lose of consciousness. Next episode shows Ninjaman being captured and both Super KDS and MS being used in combat.

Chochin-Kozo: Powers include a lantern form, summoning ghosts, mouth flames, and a katana

Episode 42:

Daimo's haunted house has red lightning surrounding it as we see him throw up a green egg. He cracks it open with his staff and the purple yolk forms a humanoid creature that becomes Ivan Ooze- No, wait, Daradara. Daimo says he is a doppelganger of himself to fight the Heavenly Triad, but Ninjaman goes first since we find out he is their apprentice. Hakumenro listens in before cutting to a boy running after two dogs in the storm. Hakumenro shows up and we find out this is Bun. Due to Daimo's recent birthday he can create doppelgangers which may end the Kakurangers. Hakumenro then mentions that his loyalties have been questioned and that Bun must tell Ninjaman. The next day we see the Kakurangers making crepes and Ninjaman playing with a small girl briefly. Also a random anecdote about fur. White gets mopey about her dad before we hear the girl screaming. The Hanarangers and dorodoros catch her and the Kakurangers show up and transform to fight. The Hanarangers are threatening for the first time in a while and actually have an upper hand in the fight. Ninjaman goes after the one with the little girl before a bunch of chains surround him. Ninjaman breaks free, but Daradara attacks him. Bun's dogs save the kid, allowing her to run. Ninjaman grows giant sized with the yokai energy doing the same to Daradara who uses an electric shock to teleport themselves off. Bun tells the Kakurangers what Hakumenro told him and they start question where he got this information that ends with him denying he told him this information. White gets hysteric, but Red calms her down.

Ninjaman is chained up in front of Daimo's vacant throne. He notices he is weak as Daimo walks in laughing. Daradara smacks him before Daimo tells him his power was absorbed. He intends to use Ninjaman as bait for the Heavenly Triad and Kakurangers before informing Daradara the next phase has begun. After that Daradara terrorizes the city via body energy blasts. Red tells the others it is an obvious trap for them, but White retorts that they have no choice so they transform and summon the god mechs to form KDS. Daimo states just as planned as the two titans clash in melee with the infernal king controlling his every move. TM shows up for the eight cannon barrage and form Super KDS. An Iron Fist is attempted which looks like Daradara blew up, but Daimo knows better as we see he survives and mutates into Ninjaman sort of. A Daradara Raging Bomber is used with a ninjato which even forms a naginata with the sheath. MS shows up to help while Super KDS does a flying kick. MS then does the BS Sword. Ninjaman is taken to a roof top where it can be seen that damage to Daradara transfers the pain to him instead as Daimo points out. Hakumenro takes a sword to his neck and White calls him out on it. Ninjaman tells them to not worry about him while Daradara fires electric bolts from his combined ninjato. Hakumenro starts having second thoughts as Daimo cheers his doppelganger on. Daradara walks forward menacingly as both mechs are on the ground, ending on a cliffhanger. Next episode shows the Kakurangers chained up and a night fight.

Episode 43:

After a recap of last episode, Daimo demands Daradara absorb the energy of the triad. Before doing that, TM teleports them via green light to the Phantom Castle. The triad statues form a holograpic image of Daradara going on a rampage. Daimo says it is their punishment for their abandonment of humanity much to Ninjaman's displeasure. MS tells the Kakurangers not to go as the villains teleport off. They intend to sacrifice Ninjaman if they must as many people are suffering and dying. Insert moral dilemma here- Until they reveal Hakumenro is their spy trying to find Daimo's weakness. They tell the Kakurangers to meet up with him. Cut to Daimo saying his doppelganger will die in the next battle, but Ninjaman refuses to give into despair. Daimo acts over confident and walks away with Hakumenro wondering what the hell to do next. Hakumenro thinks about what his weakness must be while Daimo watches. Later, Nekomaru rides around until White spots Bun. The Kakurangers get out and ask Bun to help, fully aware of the situation now. After that they drive into the woods, white hurrying out first while Red spots the Hanarangers and tells Bun to stay put. Red tells the others of a bad feeling he has, but White says they cannot leave yet. Hakumenro sees the Hanarangers about to strike the Kakurangers so he attacks first. The Hanarangers lead a squad of dorodoros to attack Hakumenro and the Kkaurangers after he tells them to run. Daimo appears to say he was aware of Hakumenro being a spy because just as planned although his trap happened easier than he thought. His staff fires red lightning that lifts Hakumenro and shocks him. During it he throws some metallic bird statue into the air that fies off. The Kakurangers try transforming, but cannot as Daimo reveals he placed a barrier that nullifies ninpo. The Hanarangers attack with Daradara and the grunts. They get overwhelmed quickly.

Red manages to escape to the shore, but gets blasted by explosive dust. This sort of reminds me of Aka's escape from Sunring Mask in Gorenger before their final battle. Coincidence? Anyway, the Hanarangers think he is toast as the others are chained up so Daradara can absorb their energy. During sunset Red emerges from the shore and spots the Hanarangers so he makes a mad dash. Daradara attacks Tokyo again and destroys some buildings much to Daimo's amusement. White blames herself for what happened. Night falls and embers light up the streets as tar is thrown everywhere that suffocates people. Daimo says it is poisonous ooze before calling out the triad once more. This goes on for a while before the three mechs teleport back to the city for a rematch. Daradara mutates again and Daimo states damage to him will hurt the Kakurangers as well. They demand the triad not worry about them as they are ready to sacrifice themselves. The music here is similar to old Godzilla movies, classy. Red gets chased down by the Hanarangers during this as we end on another cliffhanger. Next episode shows Red having ninjatos in his face and Daradara with a Kakuranger Ball.

Episode 44:

After a recap of the last episode, Red gets cut up by the Hanarangers quite badly and Daradara gets out his ninjato followed by MS bringing out the BS Sword. FIGHT! It is actually a well done fight complete with a nice kaiju brawl and the Kakurangers and Ninjaman trying to endure the blows. Daradara uses a Kakulaser and a Kakuranger Ball while MS uses a Blazing Shogun Wave from his sword. Red tries transforming, but exploding dust stops that. The Hanarangers mock him and laugh before preparing to finish him off as they draw their ninjatos in his face. Bun's dogs, Taro and Jiro, attack the Hanarangers and turn into ninjas to help out. They soon teleport away to a cave near the shore. In said cave it is revealed the dogs were really White's adopted brothers in disguise (as if it was that much a surprise). In a flashback the two boys were caged and Daimo somehow turned them into dogs.... Which apparently wore off! Ugh, consistency here could bee better. Anyway, the next day Bun throws rocks at the water while the two boys reveal they can only be humans briefly and the next time they transform they will die. Also the metal bird Hakumenro threw last episode was in their possession and they give it to Red. It uses holograms to show an orb on Daimo's robe that controls Daradara. Red says his goodbye as they turn into dogs, wanting him to tell White their feelings for her.

Daradara still fights the triad and Red runs through the forest, slaying dorodoros and making his way to Daimo's throne room. Red manages to swing his sword at the orb which hurts Daradara and gives everyone's energy back. Wow that was fast. Red explains that both Daimo and his doppelganger are two bodies and one soul with they others getting lines in before transforming with the opening theme playing. The Hanarangers take them on with a squad of dorodoros and Ninjaman in the fray. The Thunder Wave is used via sword touching, knocking the Hanarangers down and enraging Daimo before he grows giant sized which destroys his foggy throne room. Ninjaman becomes Samuraiman while the Kakurangers control KDS. Daimo's staff fires energy blasts and TM retaliates via wing cannons. Samuraiman takes on Daradara before MS finishes him via BS Sword and the Samurai Raging Bomber. Daimo curses them and TM combines with MS to become Super MS and fire the Muteki Cannons. Super KDS is formed and executes the Iron Fist, but Daimo just throws a fit saying he will win before teleporting off, returning the sky to normal and the people not being attacked by poisonous ooze. Daimo retreats to a spare throne room in a mountain and has Hakumenro kneeling before him as the infernal king is POed. He tells Daimo Earth will never be his before receiving a mouth blast that turns him to stone, scaring the dorodoros. Daimo laughs as he says he has use for him. He then has the Skeleton Castle rise from the ground complete with music similar to old kaiju movies. The Skull Castle rises and Daimo proclaims that a new yokai kingdom will form as he laughs maniacally. That night Red tells White about her adopted brothers being dogs unable to be human anymore. She has flashbacks of Christmas as we see a lit tree behind the Kakurangers and Ninjaman. Black gives her an ornament resembling a Christmas tree. She thanks the men and snow begins to fall. Next episode shows a boy dressed as Santa Claus and Santas with naginatas.

Daradara: Powers include turning into poisonous ooze, energy absorbing shocks, teleportation, body energy blasts, explosive tar from the mouth, mutating into beings whose power he absorbed, and high jumping
=================================================
Just when White and Yellow are nearly forgotten about they get proper screen time although I think Red is getting a tad too much. Daimo has been somewhat okay until the last three episodes where he gets better by taking a proactive role and withstands finishing moves multiple times, something even a lot of final bosses could not do. I am disappointed that ever since KDS came into the picture MS has not been piloted. Speaking of the last three episodes they were surprisingly well done like Black's two parter and Gasha's last eps a while back; it makes you wonder why more eps like these don't occur more often. The Hanarangers could be used more or are used more competently when they do appear, but they are shaping up to be the best anti-sentai team of the franchise thus far. Some dumb moments still pop up, but they have gone down quite a bit. Then there is Ninjaman and HOLY FREAKING CRAP THIS GUY COULD NOT HAVE COME SOONER! He is the perfect side character! He is kind, funny, lovable, honorable, enthusiastic, and is worth a darn all without overshadowing the main heroes! Gokaiger and Dice-O would later ascend him to sixth ranger status and I can easily believe why! He kind of reminds me of Mike Sounders from GaoGaiGar minus gratuitous engrish (we have Black for that). The one thing deteriorating is White's credibility as a leader, my roommate pointed out that for someone that is supposed to be the leader and most disciplined she gets caught too often and often gets the lower end of the treatment writing-wise. I have a theory she is a walking oxymoron, anything said about her opposite actions happen on screen. Both of us hope the pink ranger in Timeranger will be a better female leader.

The penultimate part has arrived! It is also called part 12!

Episode 45:

A cuckoo clock goes off in a house with a thief sneaking around until he wakes up a cat. The Kakurangers catch the thief who happens to be a boy in a Santa suit claiming to be a child of Santa. After that he gives gifts to a family, one being a centipede that becomes a tattoo on a boy's arm which shocks everyone. The boy denies doing it and runs as things get violent. The next day a yokai appears to attack him and the Kakurangers arrive to transform. Black asks for his name in English and the yokai is named Oomukade who in ancient times was just bigger than the average yokai. Why the American football outfit I do not know. The Kakurangers get beaten up and he escapes via SUV which the kid says is the Santa Delivery Car. Apparently Santa modernized modes of transportation. This concludes to the kid that every present on Earth is filled with centipedes. Nekomaru flies off to search as does Ninjaman. Daimo tells Oomukade the Kakurangers are heading for the Land of Santa while the yokai mentions that his centipedes possess people. At the Arctic Ninjaman starts freezing before they spot Santa's Castle- Nope, this is Northern Japan, not the Arctic. Also there are a bunch of Santas keeping guard, howver the Kakurangers are stealth masters that put Solid Snake to shame. They are soon caught and the boy tells them about the centipedes, but the santa in charge that isn't the elder does not believe them. The Kakurangers disguise themselves as santas to cause confusion.

More sneaking around ensues until we see a theater where the elder shows a movie about the Kakurangers being evil. More sneaking around until the boy suggests going to the delivery room. Also the elder is jerk to his employees (I should note this is Christmas Eve). The boy sacrifices himself to reveal the present centipedes and passes out. The Kakurangers soon find the elder and call out Oomukade who promptly fights them until they find out the elder is being possessed too. The other santa leader from earlier talks to Ninjaman in the Nekomaru to head off for Christmas (to be fair it is the evening). Also lazy day time stock footage. TM shows up to transport the Kakurangers who land from thousands of feet no problem. Nekomaru shakes the two out with Ninjaman being scolded for heading off alone. Red destroys the santa's bag and Ninjaman apologizes. Oomukade asks if they are ready and fires back missiles at them followed by his ball, but Ninjaman kicks that back. The Kakurangers execute the Kakuranger Ball with Ninjaman helping which hurts Oomukade who uses the yokai energy to grow. The god mechs are brought out to form KDS followed by Ninjaman growing just as the snow falls. Ninjaman is beaten and turns into Samuraiman after being called novice. Here the naginata javelin uses the Samurai Raging Slash with the Iron Fist following to blow him up as Oomukade says Merry Christmas. The centipedes dissipate with the santas relieved. The episode ends with the Kakurangers seeing pretty Christmas lights and Ninjaman sleeping on a public bench with a stocking on a nearby poll. Best sentai Christmas episode so far? I'll have to say yes. Next episode shows Blue being in a bunch of slapstick and a weird manga.

Oomukade: Powers include teleporting centipedes, a football called the Centipede Ball, teleportation, gust breath, telekinesis, a human disguise, and twin back missiles called the Centipede Missiles

Episode 46:

Some boy with glasses runs along a park to pick up a manga called End of Kakuranger. The cashier says it isn't for sale because children should be playing outside. The boy argues back and a condition is met that he not share it with anyone for only thirty yen. We soon find out the cashier is a yokai named Mujina. Daimo notes it was worth waiting a full year to make his own manga an isolated kid would read. Cut to the Kakurangers at a shrine for New Year's with Blue having a lottery ticket that says he will get the worst luck. Suddenly they are transported by the shrine to a field where Blue's ancestor runs around followed by a crazy samurai. Blue cannot transform with the others and Red gets over powered by the crazy guy. The boy accidentally spills sandwich ketchup which sends the Kakurangers back to the shrine although the evil version of Blue followed and states he is the reason he cannot transform. Shurikens are thrown and that fails with five random shaolin monks appearing to fight. Suddenly the boy's mom drags White and Blue into a room of traps including a bunch of spears and a spear wielding maniac. Oh wow, Blue got ball blasted and spear wielder has those ground touching surges. After that a woman wearing the clothes of Saber from Zyuranger (I am not kidding) swings like Tarzan to attack Blue with a stone age ax although it acts more like a hammer. More random people attack Blue including a guy with a sunhat on a bike, crazy doctors, a crooked cop, and an endless loop of doors. He soon meets up with White and Rule 63 Saber before they both encounter Mujina who does a Cutey Honey homage via the various attackers- Wait, Rule 63 Saber was an amazon? His history is basically liking disguising himself and now he wants to be a manga artist. Somehow his brush sprays glasses boy.

The others are summoned and it is revealed they cannot transform in his magic manga. The boy reads ahead to see them impaled before Mujina summons his assassin disguises (just go with it). Red suggests taking Blue and running, but White disagrees since they should fight together. Glasses boy finds it hard to read as he cheers the Kakurangers which they hear. However, his bus stops and he has to get off. His mom waits for him and wants his comic, so he runs off and bumps into Ninjaman who takes his book. Now he starts yelling at them as ground surges are fired from the assassins' swords. Ninjaman throws it away, but glasses boy tells him to keep rooting just before Mujina delivers the final blow. Red takes the brush and throws it into the sky, sending everyone back to the real world. They insult his manga before transforming and fighting the assassins and some dorodoros with Ninjaman in the fray. After quite the bit of showing off the assassins dissipate and Mujina throws a fit before growing big. The god mechs are summoned to become KDS followed by Ninjaman joining and being called a novice to become Samuraiman. The Samurai Raging Bomber and TM showing up to form Super KDS using the Iron Fist occurs which destroys Mujina. The episode ends with Ninjaman giving glasses boy a new manga as a thank you for helping them- Wait his name was Akira? Way to wait until the end! Next episode shows children being abducted and Red being chained up.

Mujina: Powers include human disguises that double as minions and a magic brush staff

Episode 47:

Some old man in an abandoned building sends a bunch of kids outside and are met by a man in a cloak. Turns out he is working for the yokai as the dorodoros take them back to the building while cloaked guy demands a hundred fireworks. Cut to a park where kids see a small girl with old timy European clothes who lits a match and summons a yokai named Kasha. They scream for help with a boy being caught which the Kakurangers hear and pursue. Red spots old clothes girl on a bench and she lights a match to which Kasha comes out jsurt as the Kakurangers show up. Kasha reveals he was a pyromaniac in ancient times with Red noting him being born from northwestern wind before they transform to fight which fails. Red and White talk to match girl who is working with Kasha to save her grandfather aka old guy from earlier who Red points out is famous for fireworks which he seems to be a fan of. Sadly his factory was destroyed a while back with her parents being caught in the explosion. She then says a guy with a cape took her grandpa and if she wants to save him she must lead children to him. Red wonders what his plan is as the others return. He then figures out he is making human fireworks. At Skeleton Castle we see Kasha sucking up to Daimo and making fireworks to celebrate his resurrection quite late. Daimo agrees to this because he is in a melancholy mood (to be fair it has been months since he's been trying to murder the people that killed his son and every time he fails so the reasoning is understandable). Kasha is revealed to be cloak guy and teleports off to find match girl and Red. She runs off as Red confronts Kasha, combat ensuing. Match girl tries waking him up and Kasha says she was alive to lure out the Kakurangers.

Red is chained up in a fireworks factory with dorodoros. Kasha walks toward him and mentions how he was trapped in Arctic ice with only the aura lights keeping him company. He is a great mood now as a dorodoro brings the fireworks maker to him to confirm to Red Kasha's plan. Kasha tells them it is too late and soon bunches Red followed by throwing children at him. He then shrinks them all to toy sized to seal them in fireworks. Match girl is used as a hostage with a dorodoro choking her, forcing him to agree. The oldman starts with Red and finishes quickly. The fireworks are taken to a field in the middle of the day to which he somehow darkens. A fuse is lit and the others show up with Kasha firing at them. It is too late as the fireworks go off. Red tells him it is too early to celebrate as he pops from nowhere and the firworks say "stupid". Red says he was caught on purpose and that the others beat up some dorodoros before saving everyone. This is followed by them transforming and fighting with lots of ninpo and sword slashes. Kasha becomes giant sized from the yokai energy while the god mechs are summoned to become KDS. The setting turns from a field to a city with Ninjaman arriving to help out via ninjato slashes. Insert novice insult and Samuraiman transformation here. The Samurai Raging Bomber is used followed by TK combining with KDS to become Super KDS, using an Iron Fist, and having Kasha blow up in a fireworks tube. The grandpa and granddaughter have a touching reunion as they and the Kakurangers enjoy some fireworks in the middle of the day. Next episode shows people being frozen and Black on a moving semi truck.

Kasha: Powers include converting into fire, a cannon in each shoulder, a human disguise, teleportation, shrink beams from the torso, sky darkening, and a flaming wheel that returns if thrown

Episode 48:

Some guy practices figure skating when a female yokai decides to join him and they do a duet before she freezes him into a snowman. Dorodoros on skates take said snowman away as she rampages across the city. Cut to a mom and her kids telling a cop about the people being turned to snowman, but he does not listen to him. Also the cop is their dad. Black hears all this and wants to help so he skates around town. He bumps into the cop who is in 90s kids clothing undercover to find evidence of the case while his superiors are unaware. The yokai appears and freezes him when chasing some woman. Black asks who she is and she is revealed to be Yukionna who in ancient times seduced men on snowy mountains. She is forming a snow mandala to form a global icy spell and needs six snowmen to do it and that cop is the last one. Basically a bow before Daimo or freeze to death scenario. The others show up as do dorodoros- And I just noticed their swords have ghost faces on them. Fighting breaks out with the Kakurangers transforming and fighting at once. The snowman rolls into the woods and the woman that was chased tells the cops family. They tell the Kakurangers to help them find him and start regretting him not being around for them while he was working. Black agrees to find him for them. Meanwhile, Daimo throws a fit about the lost snowman and has the Hanarangers look for it as he monologues to Hakumenro in statue form. The Kakurangers look through a junk yard where White finds the snowman slowly melting. They carry him away when the Hanarangers attack.

Yellow and Black spot an ice truck and place the snowman inside just as Yukionna finds them. Yellow holds off Yukionna long enough for Black to drive off, but she teleports off and sends the truck off road via snow. Black handles dorodoros before continuing to drive off. The Hanarangers throw bombs at him before jumping at the driver seat. One of them steals the truck from him, but he manages to sneak onto the back bumper, thinking of the cop's family. He makes it back to the driver's seat and throws the Hanaranger out. They eventually surround the truck, get Black out via dust, and drive off to the snow mandala. The snowman is placed on it so Yukionna can begin her incantation. However, nothing is happening and the Hanarangers note this snowman is not cold and starts blushing. Turns out it was Ninjaman in disguise who taunts them and the Kakurangers show up to explained that after Black retrieved the truck the snowman was replaced by Ninjaman who used ninpo. Ninjaman takes credit for the idea after they mention the cop is in a giant fridge. This is followed by them transforming and slaughtering grunts lead by the Hanarangers. Black duels with Yukionna which is pretty even. Black manages to knock off her hat followed by telekinetic rock throwing and slashing, but she just grows from yokai energy. Ninjaman becomes Samuraiman without being insulted and the god mechs are brought out to become KDS. The area becomes snowy as she summons a pair of snowmen to assist her. She manages to ice breath them until MS shows up and thaws them out via BS Sword. He then uses it with the Samurai Raging Slash and Iron Fist to take out the snowmen and Yukionna. The mandala dissipates, the snowmen turn back into humans, and the cop family has a happy ending. The episode ends with the Kakurangers talking about how spring will be coming soon. Next episode shows the Kakurangers in low budget outfits.

Yukionna: Powers include freezing breath that turns people into snowmen, teleportation, a human disguise, mouth snow, a katana, illusion spawning, spawning twin snowmen, and snow ball bombs from the mouth

We are at the end! Time to end the Mighty Morphin trilogy with part final!

Episode 49:

The Kakurangers sing as Nekomaru drives along the road. They pick up a hitchhiker at a bus stop who is in a hurry because he hasn't seen his family in five years. Apparently he was working abroad to pay off debts. They reach his home and hitchhiker guy is reunited with his family in a heartwarming moment. Red comments to White she'll see her dad too. Cut to a rooftop where a yokai is jealous of the middle class having luxury so via staff magic he makes the surrounding area poor and out of money including hitchhiker guy. The yokai reveals himself as Binbogami as Skeleton Castle flies over. His reasoning was to make everyone bow before Daimo and demonstrates by giving people money back. Daimo places seals on the foreheads of those that swear loyalty and has hitchhiker's family attacked for not doing the same. The Kakurangers are told this and Binbogami is unphased by their insults, so much so his poor seals turn their costumes into jackets with rusty swords. In ancient times he was the same and he also turns the Kakuranger Ball into a volley ball followed by the shark machines turned into regular bicycles. Once the Kakurangers go down Nekomaru takes the family and them, but not before being dysfunctional himself which sends everyone squrving. The hitchhiker's wife and kids are sent out the back in the chaos with Binbogami catching them. Nekomaru almost crashes into a truck, but Ninjaman saves the day. He asks what happened to everyone as hitchhiker guy cries for his family who Binbogami locks in a cage in a quarry.

Red somehow gets a note and hitchhiker guy understandably has a mental breakdown before begging for them to save his family. Ninjaman agrees and runs off on his own. He faces Binbogami and gets deteriorated like Nekomaru with his cloud turned into a carpet. Red tells hitchhiker guy that they will win when Ninjaman remembers Binbogami was a money lender yokai that became a thief when a bunch of villagers took his money back so that is why he is motivated the way he is. Red gets an idea as Binbogami gets impatient after smoking cigarettes a lot. Just when the family is about to be executed, gold coins are thrown their way, causing the humans to go greedy. Binbogami eventually joins in and becomes his old humanoid self which undoes his curses. The Kakurangers taunt him as the humans uncage the family and run off. Also the coins wete leaves which enrages him and makes him a monster again. Binbogami summons dorodoros to the slaughter after they transform. Also they give intros during the fight for some reason. Red reflects a seal that hits Daimo in the Skeleton Castle instead followed by the Kakuranger Ball being used. Bonbogami has the yokai energy grow him followed by the god mechs being summoned to form KDS and Ninjaman joining in. MS shows up and uses the BS Sword to reflect a poor seal back at him. After that is the novie saying, Ninjaman becoming Samuraiman, and a three way combo of the Samurai Raging Bomber, BS Sword, and Iron Fist terminate Binbogami. The family thanks the Kakurangers before they drive off with Nekomaru who has his own theme song now. Next episode shows the Kakurangers at a hotel and Red being attacked by the others.

Binbogami: Powers include poor seals from his staff, energy balls from the staff

Episode 50:

A boy runs into the woods at night to be met by a female yokai. He is tied to a tree via vines before cutting to the next day where the Kakurangers buy grilled corn. An old man gives the old horror line of "the mountains eat people at night, beware" shtick. After that Nekomaru drives off and by nightfall the Kakurangers are lost. They notice they have been driving around in circles before White notices a boarding house nearby so they head for it. The inn keeper takes pity on them and allows them to board. In it they have fun taking baths and walking around when they notice the manager about to kill fresh chicken for dinner. They protest and he decides no to do it. White brings up that a boy was spending the night and disappeared that morning. After that we see the female yokai and a male one talking to Daimo to which we discover they are his siblings, Yamanba and Daidarabocchi, although he cut ties a long time ago. Apparently the two were treated like outcasts who vow to defeat the Kakurangers- and they reveal they are the inn keeper and manager. The Kakurangers sleep, but Blue sees the manager about to kill a chicken. He follows him into the woods where the yokai attack and he transforms to fight them. The next day the Kakurangers leave in Nekomaru with the yokai siblings waving goodbye. They stop at the shrine from before and split up to find yokai. Blue is told to attack Yellow and Black which he does. Also ninja clothes are ninjato proof. The yokai siblings attack again which catch the attention of Red and White.

Yellow and Black are knocked out with duplicates of them joining the now discovered to be a duplicate Blue. Red and White see this and thinks it relates to the kidnapped children. After that White meets up with the duplicates and gets knocked out and replaced easily with Red watching and following where they take her. The duplicates predicted this and chain him up followed by random telekinesis. Using ninpo he escapes and chops up the duplicates who happen to be snakes. He spots the necklace the inn keeper was wearing on the ground before a fissure erupts into flames. Daidarabocchi emerges from the ground to which we find out in ancient times he disguised himself as mountains before trying to stomp him. Red brings out his god mech swords a swinging, but gets punched up. During this, Yamanba cleans her sword to slay the others and in her history she says she used to eat lost travelers. Also the kidnapped children were chickens this whole time as she reveals Red is being attacked by her literally big brother. Just before White is struck, Red shows up to cut their ropes as we see Ninjaman doing the kaiju fighting. Dorodoros are brought in with the others transforming to take them down. Ninjaman gets beaten up, but MS and KDS show up to help him. All three mechs use their finishing moves with KDS becoming Super KDS when TM shows up before doing his, ending Daidarabocchi. The Kakurangers use a Thunder Wave on Yamanba who curses them before teleporting off to Skeleton Castle. Damio scolds her- Wait, Daidarabocchi was the little brother? Yamanba claims she hates the Kakurangers too. Daimo reveals that he cut family ties because to become the yokai king one must lack sentiment. After that he proclaims to all yokai the final battle with the Kakurangers is about to begin and will give his little sister new power as red lightning strikes her, mutating her. The episode ends with Red say he has a bad feeling about this and knowing the final battle is coming. Next episode shows a building exploding and statue Hakumenro attacking.

Daidarabocchi: Powers include illusions, a human disguise, telekinetic explosions, size changing, burrowing

Episode 51:

Daimo says the final battle is now, sending humans into sorrow and despair which are the emotions that fuel yokai. He brings to life statue Hakumenro before cutting to White biking with three kids as the men watch. Red thinks she is distracting herself from thoughts of her dad. White talks to the kids who bicker about their dads and almost fight. One eventually runs away, allowing sad music to play. A building explodes which causes mass panic. Hakumenro appears as do the Kakurangers, the former using eye blasts to cause destruction including crushing a mother and baby via rubble. The Kakurangers are unable to transform during the assault as Yamanba shows up with the Hanarangers who tell the entrapped people this is all the Kakurangers' fault as Hakumenro continues his rampage. The towns people do this which increases the yokai energy cloud. The men tell White to run as they fend them off. Daimo becomes empowered according to him and laughs while White runs through the woods, asking why her dad is acting this way. Yamanba shows up to taunt her. According to her Daimo left her dad without a soul and cannot return to normal as he will rampage forever. The only way to save him is to pierce his heart with a demon sword. White refuses and Yamanba tells her what cave to find him in before teleporting off. The men can't find White as the triad appears via holograms to tell them the final battle is coming due to the hatred the humans are feeding the yokai energy cloud. Insert life cycle philosophy about how parents and kids shouldn't kill each other here. They tell the men that Hakumenro can be saved if they beat Daimo.

More buildings explode in the ensuing rampage. White sees a bunch of people in the hospital while hiding from angry townspeople. One of the kids from earlier shows sympathy toward her while Daimo says that is she kills her dad her despair will make his power complete. Hakumenro attacks White and the boy, named Shigeru, which pushes her to her ends. She transforms to sword fight, but that flunks. White remembers what Yamanba said in black and white negatives of the footage. Shigeru is knocked out and Hakumenro teleports off. The men find a note thanks to Black from White that she will slay her father. Some panic ensues and they head off in Nekomaru to find her as White finds the demon sword and heads for the cave. Hakumenro is resting and the men rush for it- Wait, can't they use their doron changers? White cries nervously with quite a bit of editing. She drops the sword and says she cannot do it while the men find the cave, but Yamanba blocks them. Bickering occurs and they transform to fight the Hanarangers. Both sides hold their own with each other although because the Hanarangers have an extra member they get the upper hand, especially on Red. The men are eventually beat as White picks up the demon sword after what she remembered happening as this ends on a cliffhanger. Next episode shows Taro and Jiro as humans again and Hakumenro turning back to normal.

Episode 52:

After a recap of last episode, the men are turned back into their civilian forms in the fight while White prepares for the stabbing. Taro and Jiro appear with Bun to distract Yamanba while the Hanarangers fight on. Red is able to run into the cave to stop White via slapping her face. She cries and the cave shakes as we see Yamanba giant sized AND IT IS FRIGGIN DAY TIME NOW. Hakumenro wakes up and chases Red and White to kill them. They soon have to fight, but that fails. White is driven near a cliff when Taro and Jiro become humans to hold him off long enough for her to avoid sword swinging. Soon the three of them are send off the steep cliff instead. Yamanba attacks the Kakurangers and they transform to summon the god mechs so KDS can be formed. MS and TM show up, the latter combining to form Super KDS before Ninhaman appears too- Wait where the hell was he this whole time? Yamanba summons lightning to make her stronger like the Toho version of King Kong. Three against one kaiju fighting ensues although that does little as the BS Sword and Iron Fist are executed.... But the lightning heals her! I guess she is Violence Jack. The Skeleton Castle flies by with Daimo saying how filthy humans are and that their evil is why yokai will always be alive.

Yamanba assaults the triad and Ninjaman pretty badly. Red spots a yellow flower and tells the others to look. It is symbolic that they defy the otherwise uninhabited wasteland. The triad tells them that humans are also capable of great compassion and good regardless of hardships. This gives them confidence to keep fighting as Yamanba's storm clears up. She says novice and Ninjaman becomes Samuraiman. MS combines with TM to form Super TM and unleashes the Muteki Cannon. KDS follows up with an Iron Fist that destroys her. Bun leads the Kakurangers to the bodies of Taro, Jiro, and Hakumenro. This first two are tired as hell and tell the Kakurangers they are about to die because of the curse, but they think their ending is a happy end because good came from them. They also sympathize with White, but tell her to stick with those closest to her to the end. The brothers say goodbye and crawl toward Hakumenro's body, saying they should treasure him. They turn into energy balls that head for the sky with White crying- Oh no, no no no, Hakumenro suddenly becomes normal again!? HOW!? Well the reunion is touching either way. Red says they traded their lives- HOW DOES THAT WORK!? Hakumenro tells the men thank you for bearing all this and asks for forgiveness. Blue replies this is all Decade's fault- Err I mean Daimo's. The Skeleton Castle flies by and Daimo says he is impressed they beast his sister, but intends to fight. Red says he has no power left and Daimo blasts them. He has the Skeleton Castle fly forward and encased in fire, causing an explosion. Next episode shows the Kakurangers fighting the Hanarangers and Daimo.

Yamanba: Powers include teleportation, a human disguise, mouth flames, a serrated sword that emits flames, turning children into chickens, levitation, and size changing

Episode 53:

After a recap of last episode, everyone survives via rocks being used as cover. Cop out. Daimo flies around as a comet briefly. He decides to end the Kakurangers personally as they transform and jump at him full force. The triad tells them not to provoke him or hit him. Daimo threatens to attack the city and teleports off laughing. The triad says the hatred will be reborn after Yamanba was beaten. Daimo is composed of human hatred and the triad takes their costumes and demande he be captured alive to be placed in the Door of Seals. Daimo attempts to resurface hatred in the human world soon with the Kakurangers spot him in the middle of a busy squate NEAR A FRIGGIN McDonalds! NO I AM NOW JOKING! He then divides into three and tempts the Kakurangers to strike him. Nobody sees this? Really? Havoc ensues, even a building being destroyed before the three bodies become one again. They try catching him, but he just throws them and fires a staff blast. Yellow mentions they don't even know where the Door of Seals is as they are zapped with magic lightning. Black almost transforms when the triad tells them to embody the human heart to beat him. Insert philosophical bits about erasing hatred here. White concludes they just need to bottle hatred up in their hearts and THAT IS NOT HOW HATRED WORKS- GAH! I get the yin yang message here, but the moral is executed poorly, you can't just seal off an emotion and expect "yeah, that is a good idea". Psychology does not work like that! They are basically making it someone else's problem down the road! They transform and the Hanarangers are sent to fight them, but they are ignored and the triad teleports them to the Door of Seals. Red has it emerge from the ruins.

The Door of Seals opens with the Hanarangers turning back into cats via eye lasers from the triad. Daimo does the smart thing and grows big to fight the triad and Ninjaman. They retrain him only to get shocked. The trio strikes him with those eye beams which reduce him to human size again. The Kakurangers get shocked as they push him in, Red accidentally releasing spirits from the orb on his torso. Eventually he is forced into the door after much struggling. Once it is closed he vows to return as long as humans live. They are then told to apply the doron changers to the door to keep it shut. After that they laigh and celebrate the fact that they finally won. The triad says farewell to them as flute music (or something woodwind) plays and the Kakurangers meet up with Hakumenro and Bun near Nekomaru. Red says this will all depend on the hearts of humanity. Hakumenro tells White he and Bun will await her at home. In the Underworld we see a lot of yokai from previous episodes saying they will be reborn some day. The episode ends with the opening playing with footage from earlier in the series.

Daimo: Powers include telekinesis, levitation, teleportation, a staff that launches magic lightning bolts and whirlwinds, size changing, fire manipulation, doppelganger spawning from the mouth, turning humans to stone via body beam, a comet form, and body electric shocks
=================================================
WHY!? You had the best side character, best ranger balance, best anti-sentai squad, best grunts, and most consistent monster of the week motif of the franchise! Yet the stupid moments plagued this series all the way to the finale! Everything I don't mention here like San being the worst mentor and annoying ninpo spam still applies, especially when the latter is simply forgotten about. Even poor Daimo was taken a back seat to the amount of irrelevant crap going on. Poor Daimo accidentally screwed up the ending. Remember when the triad had no problem beating the tar out of him in earlier episodes? Where was the elements of the human heart then? Did the Kakurangers really fight without ANY of that considering how heroic they've been!? You undermine your heroes this way! To top it off their great plan was to simply throw him back into the Door of Seals. Two major problems: First, Daimo has demonstrated that he can use his powers in the human world from that point, what the hell is stopping him from getting some idiot to break the door down? Hell, we don't even have proof there are no yokai left running around Japan! The dorodoros can do it for him! In fact he never even lost power, he was still combat capable during the entire final battle. Second, Kamen Rider V3, Kamen Rider Stronger, Space Sheriff Sharivan, Sun Vulcan, Jetman, Zyuranger, Dairanger have more or less proven that opening gates to Hell or the Underworld or bringing someone from there to the human world is VERY easy to do, all the heroes did was make Daimo the problem of a future generation! Episode 42 implied that he gets more powers with age so they're making it even worse for the next guys! The whole "embodies an entire emotion/concept and cannot really be beaten" is horse manure, that sure as hell didn't stop Ragorn or Dai Satan from being blown to smithereens! Hell, even the pagan god Quetzalcoatl was taken out! I noticed a pattern of Zyuranger, Dairanger, and this ending with "letting the villain live" motif. Zyuranger made sense, Dai Satan was terminated and his followers were depowered, but DaiZyuZin granted some mercy by giving Bandora's gang life without parole via giant jar in space, preventing their influence since they no longer had their powers, it made sense. Dairanger had the rival tribes agree not to attack each other once the extremists were taken out by the giant space dragon that only hated one side yet took it out on the entire planet for reasons that don't add up. Here though? "The bad guy isn't losing his strength, lets just lock him away and tell people to never ever be angry even though that emotion ties to adrenaline which is used as a defense mechanism because hormonal, nerve, and psychological problems don't exists" and GAAAAAAAAH! It undermined itself in the final episode! The visuals of what is happening on screen destroys the execution of what should have been a decent moral of not giving into hatred.... In addition they lump in anger with hatred, making the moral kind of unhealthy!

Lets just do rankings, unlike other places I am counting Nekomaru as a base since he is part robot and has a pair of weapons:

Ohranger is to be taken on next week with a new element to the reviewing being exclusive for that series (unless it becomes popular with the people reading this).

It took us long enough to finally come face to face with the infamous Ohranger.

tumblr_lppvawZY5z1r1r4fio1_500.jpg

"How will this be done?"

Like Fiveman eight parts with six episode each.

"And the movie?"

Will be done in part 2.

"Did you notice Dairanger was not celebrated for the fifteenth anniversary?"

Yup and if Marzgurl's old Zyuranger review is any indication, Gorenger and JAKQ were likely added around the time it aired.

"Tell us about the disaster for those unaware!"

If not for Ohranger Fiveman would be considered to worst in the franchise, making it second worst until Go-Busters came along. Kind of like how Infinite Ryvius barely clouds out Valvrave as the worst anime all time.

"Stay on topic!"

Right. Anyway, ratings were at an all time low for the franchise which never recovered until Gingaman if I recall correctly. The initial idea for this was to be partially an 80s super science throwback and since Power Rangers was a tremendous hit in the US they decided to include a sixth ranger and make it a tradition after that; granted Zyuranger and Dairanger were experimenting at the time and Ninjaman did not ascend to sixth ranger status until Gokaiger; plus Carranger was a more back to basics parody that mostly left out a sixth ranger so it was not officially a tradition until Megaranger. Also America loving Tommy/Green and White Mighty Morphin Ranger is the main reason King Ranger got a similar looking breast shield.

"Blah blah blah tell us more!"

Supposedly the first eight episodes were ZOHMYGOSHZORZ THE AMAZING I MUST WORSHIP like every Unicorn Gundam episode loaded with talking or War in The Pocket while everything else after that is thrown into the Warp because Metal Sonic threw a fit with the chaos emeralds or something. Also bad subway attacks caused changes behind the scenes, especially in the writing, and most fans think the changes started around episode 9. Are they right? Only one way to find out! One thing is certain, Penguindrum was pretty bad and that also happened from that subway attack (although it is still better than atrocious junk like Utena and Yurikuma Arashi). Said changes caused mood swings and a loss of viewership which made Bandai concentrate more on toy marketing than the series itself. Mega Anon commented a lot on which episodes are considered bad ones when she was subbing it. Ohranger supposedly did so bad in viewership it almost killed the franchise. Remember folks, before Zyuranger most sentai was heavily grounded in science and that would easily turn off a lot of otaku at the time, so this series was a chance to bring them back since the last three series were so different from the rest of the franchise. Not only that, but keep in mind they got all the previous head writers back for this, Bandai spared no expense when putting effort into this.

"Tell us about the new element you've been hinting at!"

Ladies and gentlemen, a long time ago /m/ made a line graph on the enjoyability of ZZ Gundam which seems to have been lost to time. I am going to revive a chart for Ohranger.

"And opinions?"

Since a lot happens in this series I am going to be doing opinions after every even numbered part while the line graph itself will be finished at the end of this take on. For those wanting a sneak peak here it is in its construction phase:

Just wait for the end.

"Will you be poking fun at GoGoV since both series take place in 1999?"

Why would I not?
=================================================
Episode 1:

On the base is the Baranoia ready to lead their cogs- I mean Barlos to conquer Earth. The villains talk about how they are ready before the best establishing shot of a villain bass in the franchise before cutting to Tokyo at noon in the year 1999. Where was GoGoV when baracticas launched takonpas? Citizens rightfully panic as the area is set a blaze via lasers and fire composite shots. The military gets word of this as reports keep coming in. Apparently they have been aware of the Baranoia since New York and Paris got attacked and no I am not linking those to real world events. The Baranoia want humans as their slaves with half being enslaved on other worlds. Four special soldiers are expected to arrive soon when they are detected on radar fighting takonpas via fighters- Oh wow, these villain fighters use sonic guns. A missile to the cockpit does not slow them down and both fighters go down. A rescue part is sent out for them while the three takonpas attack the four pilots followed by barlo soldiers being sent down complete with creepy slow motion. More takonpas show up in walk mode armed with a gatling gun under the cockpit as the four as chased from a sandy beach to a forest. Once near a cliff a takonpa fires its gatling gun when one of them decides to swing across like Tarzan. The others follow, barely making it, before it starts raining. A barlo soldier uses an eye flash to send them down a muddy hill. One of the commanders takes off his main clothing to reveal a pilot suit and heads out in a blizzard in a fighter.

The four complain about being forced into the Ohranger project when a snake appears to be carried off. This attracts the barlos who attack with electric batons. Their campfire proved effective as their stun batons get stolen and they are beaten with them. Also razor discs and nets from the mouth, one being caught by the latter briefly. An eye flash sends them into a river near a waterfall. They are shot off (you can make the argument that they prefer slaves than dead humans so they probably set the weapons for stun), wash up on shore, and the ground opens up with a giant drill chasing them. Said drill is revealed to be the machine beast Bara Drill. The barlos are attacked by the commander in the fighter from earlier and uses special choriki cannons in the nose to take down a takonpa. The colonel hears all this as the hanger staff gets joyful of the cannons working. On the moon we see the villains mentioning humans having emotions they find dumb while comparing themselves to gods fit to rule the universe- They are Bender from Futurama. The commander lands his fighter with a motorcycle jumping under it, causing a rampage with Bara Drill accidentally taking out two takonpas. After that he gets off his bike and transforms, revealing to be Red. He charges into battle to handle the barlos with ease. Bara Drill goes after him next, able to send Red flying into a rocky wall while a takonpa fires its gatling gun. Red weakens a leg, but Bara Drill proves to be more powerful than he thought. Rocks land on him while the takonpa accidentally hits Bara Drill, allowing Red to use his battle stick to impale him from overhead. The others throw stun batons to cause the takonpa to explode as Red comes out of the fiery explosion. They asks who he is and Red replies he is an Ohranger. Next episode shows all five transforming for the first time.

Bara Drill: Powers include a torso drill, limb withdrawing, and a right claw flamethrower

Episode 2:

After a recap of last episode we see the Baranoia still attacking Tokyo with Acha and Kocha being beamed down from a baractica to inform humans of the Baranoia declaration of war. Cut to Red informing the four about the Baranoia taking over Tokyo as he takes a helicopter back to base- Where did the chopper come from? He shows them the base from which they will fight the baranoia. Earth's current technology cannot beat them before showing them to colonel Miura who is their leader and archaeologist that found technology that became the foundation for the Ohranger suits. Miura mentions Pangaega and how Earth was one big continent 600 million years ago and even had prehistoric humans. He takes them to a basement that has a bunch of ancient buildings, one for each continent- I get excluding Antarctica, but why leave out Australia? (unless that is what King represents?) He talks about choriki power which is more powerful than what they have now. Red answers the phone to fight out a giant machine beats is rampaging through Tokyo named Bara Saucer. In the destruction it picks up a bus while the villains are amused the humans are trembling (in other words show emotions they think down upon). After the rotal family boasts about how awesome it is, Miura has the four exposed to choriki power from a pyramid they harvested from. They are bathed in lights that turn them into Green, Yellow, Pink, and Blue.

The bus is left on top of a crooked building as the barlos rampage in the streets before the Ohrangers show up on their jetter machines and transform with intros before attacking the barlos. I like how Blue's foot barely touches one during a flying kick. The choreography is well done here, everything syncs up nicely. The royals are in disbelief and anger before Bara Saucer goes after them. A fire reaches the bus, Red tells Blue, Yellow, and Pink to save the civilians while he and Green distract Bara Saucer. This fails and Red gets caught in his right claw before being hurled. The civilians are rescued in the middle of the carnage with the children cheering them on. After that they bring out their individual weapons which look sort of like ninja weapons. They aim for enemy weak points for massive damage before combining their weapons to form the Big Bang Buster which is an orange energy ball that blows Bara Saucer to pieces. The royals throw a fit with Acha and Kocha being kicked while demanding to know who those were. The Ohrangers return to human form with only Red able to stand up straight. He says the suits take massive amounts of stamina while on the moon Acha and Kocha are fearing for their lives hoping the royals don't take their wrath on them. Bacchus Wrath demands an increase in production so Hysteria and Buldont do not throw another giant fit. At the hanger, the team looks on at the night sky at the Moon saying Earth will not fall to them as they place their hands together and Red says their real names. Next episode shows a boy taken as a hostage that Red tries saving.

Bara Saucer: Powers include burrowing and twin eye lasers

Episode 3:

After a recap of last episode a barbactica is sent to Tokyo, forcing the Ohrangers to take off in the Thunderwing- or just Red. Bara Vanish is tractor beamed down- AND NOW THERE ARE THREE THUNDERWINGS, GOOD TO KNOW TOEI EDITING IS STRONG. Cut to some kids playing in snow when one finds a shiny stone and puts it in his collection. Bara Vanish grabs him and waltzes off with Red seeing this and going down via jetter machine. He saves the boy, but gets dragged off. Takonpas attack the other thunderwings while Bara Vanish goes after the boy again. Red runs him over with a nearby car and manages to save the boy once more, but the machine beast gets on the car roof. Lots of swurving happens before flipping over and the car exploding. Takonpa assaulting forces them to under a bridge where Red radios in and thinks the Baranoia are trying to isolate them. The boy is revealed to be Kenichi and he has no idea why he is being chased. At base we find out a bunch of jamming waves are in the area. On the Moon the royals talk about trying to find a weakness of the choriki power before maniacally laughing. Yup, no emotion there! That night Red offers Kenichi gum before the two talk about whether or not the Baranoia are going to get them. Kenichi has a flashback of him and his dad at a river (same actor as Change Pegasus and Dragon Ranger?) who talks about geology and how lifeforms work hard to survive. Two years ago he died in an accident while Red thinks about saving the world before they are attacked by barlos- wait, it isn't night?

At the base the Ohrangers learn about Kenichi whose dad also studied old civilizations. Apparently he owns a fragment of a wheel with instructions of contructing choriki on it. Miura says even trivial forgotten memories can be recovered through hypnosis and theorizes that is why the Baranoia want him as Red takes Kenichi through an abandoned warehouse from Bara Vanish. Apparently he can only become invisible when exposed to sunligh. Buldont is beamed down with barlos who instantly find Red and attack. Red transforms while the others show up via jetter machines to transform as well. They strike a pose and lay the smackdown on the barlos. Bara Vanish fights them soon after and grabs Kenichi again. Buldont gives the order to scan Kenichi's mind before Red shoots Bara Vanish and stabs him followed by the others using their king lasers. Red uses his king smasher to send Bara Vanish off the rooftop followed by another assault and the Big Bang Buster to destroy him. Also I am calling it the B3 from now on. Bacchus Wrath throws a fit which scares his family while Red ells Kenichi they will never give up the fight for Earth. Next episode shows a machine beast turning a kid into a cyborg and a guy with a revolver to his head.

Bara Vanish: Powers include invisibility, super speed, torso mirror bolts, and a memory probe in the torso

Episode 4:

On the moon Buldont has an idea for an invasion that they will torment the hell out of the population. Hysteria likes it, but Bacchus Warth doesn't as he'd rather bonk his kid son with his staff and show off their super science. A ball of light heads for Earth and the Orangers head out. The meteor cracks open to reveal Bara Crusher. The machine beast heads for a nearby street with the Ohrangers arriving to the crash site before finding tracks. While in the city some boy named Hiroshi yells for his cop dad to give the Ohrangers a ticket for illegal parking and Red gives him his card just before they see some citizens panic. Hiroshi is cheesed off as the Ohrangers look inside a building to find Bara Crusher. They find a busted pipe before finding their enemy. A fight ensues which causes a gas fire before they transform (they waited WHY?). Once outside cop dad fires on Bara Crusher only to get his right arm caught in his mouth. The Ohrangers show up to shoot him, forcing the machine beast to- wait he was destroyed already!? Bacchus Wrath throws a fit as Hysteria cries while the Ohrangers take the cop to a hospital. Acha tells them not to worry though. That night the cop dad is bandages up when he suddenly has spasms in front of Hiroshi. He runs outside and becomes Bara Crusher. Acha and Kocha watch as cop dad goes on a rampage through town and abduct five children which gets the Ohraners' attention. After cop dad tells about the reports they theorize more than one is on the loose when Miura informs them about metal amoebas inside Bara Crusher's body. They multiply faster in organisms and can convert tissue to metal. Red puts two and two together thinking cop dad might be the machine beast.

Cop dad's partner has a cigarette which causes him to spasm and transform again, a metal amoeba going into the partner's mouth. The Ohrangers show up to take the amoeba out shortly after before we see the abducted kids strapped to tables with Hiroshi trying to snap his dad out of it. Acha taunts him saying his dad is beyond hope. Wow he looks gleeful for a heartless machine. The basic plan is infecting Japan with Bara Crushers when the Ohrangers bike in and transform to fight the grunts off. Red fights Bara Crusher as metal amoebas crawl around the kids. Acha is surprised he retained part of his human self in the fight as he clobbers the other Ohrangers. During a fire he starts he frees Hiroshi and heads off as Yellow and Pink dispose of the other metal amoebas. Hiroshi's dad turns back to a human and his son tells him of the creature in his body. He pushes Hiroshi back and points his revovler to his head in an attempt to save everyone. Red stops him, but he turns back into Bara Crusher and goes into a rage fit. Red thinks he is vulnerable to fire and has Green and Blue help him be exposed to flames which turns him back to normal, but still rageful. The metal amoeba is spewed out and Red shoots it. The building blows to pieces in a fiery explosion. After that Hroshi and his dad hug each other at the shore as Red says they vow to terminate the Baranoia. Next episode shows a young boy with a gun Blue tries helping out.

Bara Crusher: Powers include reinforced jaws, metal amoebas, and eye electric bolts

Episode 5:

A boy named Takashi is caught by three bullies who attack him for being smart. His big brother scares them off before telling him he is a weakling. Blue sees this and breaks it up. After that one of two Bara Cactus Brothers show up saying Blue will make a nice gift for the emperor. He transforms and fights him for a bit. Takashi gets exposed to spores from the Cactus Brother, forcing Blue to retreat with him. Takashi wakes up stoic before cutting to that night where he eats objects around the house. The next day at an elementary school we see Takashi getting a fraction problem correctly (and a 2 looks like a Z) followed by random geometry (trigonometry?). He scolds the teacher instead of being sent to the principal's office- Wait this isn't America, nevermind. The bullies face him again and get sprayed with fire. His older brother gets concerned and is shoved away. Blue saves him midair before hearing Takashi calling humans filthy. At the base the Ohrangers think the siblings not getting along is normal while a random couple gets attacked by the Bara Cactus Brother from earlier. Blue sees them munching on fire extinguishers and an electric wire. Buldont taunts him while saying those spores allow people to eat machines and gain their abilities- YOU JUST MADE YOUR OWN PREDATORS! Basic chaos is the idea as the other Bara Cactus Brother appears to help. The others show up to transform while Takashi's older brother tries to stop him from munching on a car door. The Ohrangers fight the two brothers in a junkyard and have the tar beaten out of them. King blasters are deflected followed by a failed double attack. The older brother has a tire land on him which breaks his leg as he tells his brother to run off. Bacchus Wrath has his staff shoot lightning and retract him all the way to the moon while the Ohrangers take Takashi's brother.

A brother is taken to the Moon wondering about the concept of brotherly love. Bacchus Wrath staff smacks him for having emotions and demands he stops or he will slay his brother. He fights some barlos before both are shocked by Bacchus Wrath- Screw it I am calling him Wrath from now on to save on time. The first brother must fight the Ohrangers again or Wrath will destroy the second one. This works while Takashi munches on an officer's revolver. Blue tries talking sense into how worried his brother is, but Takashi sense the Bara Cactus Brother in trouble as the Ohrangers gain the upper hand on him. Takashi spews flames at them and fires a revolver he spawns. This allows the Bara Cactus Brother to fight on while Takashi's brother apologizes for what he did as he tries to make his brother regain his senses and admits he was hard on him because he wanted him to be brave. This is followed by a hug which seems to work. Blue shows up to say that they should fight together as they use Red's sword to impale the brother in the abdomen. As the two brothers run off Blue transforms and a pose is struck before the five of them use their king smashers to bring him down. After that the two brothers play soccer with other kids with the Ohrangers watching in amusement, also Red teases Blue. On the moon the first brother returns to see the second brother murdered by Wrath because he had a filthy emotion like love which deserve purging (his words not mine). Bacchus destroys and crushes the first brother before proclaiming Earth will be his and maniacally laughing. Next episode shows Miura being chained up and the premier of the choriki mobiles.

Bara Cactus Brothers: Powers include shoulder arrows, machine eating spores from the shoulders, high jumping, laser deflecting hands, and eye lasers

Episode 6:

During a lightning storm we see Bara Brain trying to curse Miura. Cut to Acha telling Wrath the Ohrangers have five top secret machines in the work and they cannot locate them. Hysteria says she sent her best machine beast to attack Miura and interrogate him for information. After that we see the folks in the hanger scrambling to construct the choriki mobiles with Miura commenting that they must have them ready soon. The colonel feels tired as he day dreads of his niece briefly before seeing a hallucination of her. Also her name is Mikko. She tells him the Baranoia are plotting something and needs rescuing before teleporting off. Red sees what is going on and tries helping him. After that Miura has tea and thinks the mirages of his niece- Wait, his best friend's daughter? Not his brother? Why'd she call him uncle? Anyway, he walks off before we see him and Red picking her up from school to check up on her. I just noticed these kids are having school during an alien invasion, it makes me wonder if this is happening in Tokyo or not. After that Miura takes her to a theme park before telling Red his friend died three years prior in a car accident that had said car going off a cliff in slow motion. Miura tried saving both and his friend let go of his hand on purpose to save his daughter. What an emotional scene. Miura blames himself being weak and to a degree was trusted for the future because of that in a symbolic sense. Red thinks he has done a swell job before takonpas attack followed by barlos. Red takes on the mooks while Bara Brain encounters Miura and Mikko trying to flee. He turns into a pair of metal balls, one of which allows him to possess Mikko. Miura gets thrown around via telekinesis before he passes out.

Red keeps fighting barlos before Green and Yellow show up to help. Blue and Pink use a thunderwing to take out a takonpa, allowing the two below to transform. Bara Brain's other ball fuses with a bunch of cars to become Bara Separate who goes on a kaiju sizes rampage. The thunderwing attacks it, but the choriki cannon flunks while the others get kicked by the giant. Miura is chained to a poll on a shore with the possessed Mikko and Bara Brain's metal ball show Miura the destruction Bara Separate is doing, saying everyone will die. The possessed Mikko tells him he must die to save them, a flashback occurs, and dribble about her dad hating him ensues complete with holograms. Miura thinks about revealing the factory location- WHY DID BLUE AND PINK RETURN TO BASE INSTEAD OF GOING DOWN AND FIGHTING!? They decide to take the choriki mobiles out and transform. Dash Lion and Moa Loader are sent out in the cold blizzard while the others complain about theirs not being complete yet so Red decides they must find the colonel. After that Blue and Pink unload lasers and missiles. Bara Brain complains the other three are not with them. Mikko is forced to levitate while both thunderwings are brought out despite being useless earlier. The episode ends with the royals enjoying everyone suffering. Next episode shows Miura being chained to something else and the premier of Ohranger Robo.

Bara Brain: Powers include telekinesis, turning into a pair of laser balls that can possess lifeforms, and projecting holograms

Ultraman Nexus is coming to Crunchyroll! While I am still down in the dumps here is part 2!

Episode 7:

Holy crap Ohranger Robo is in the opening now! After a recap of last episode Bara Brain strangles Miura demanding where the other choriki mobiles are. He refuses and Mikko gets tossed around until Red in a thunderwing shows up to shoot at Bara Brain. Green and Yellow cause a rock slide and Red goes down in his jetter machine to untie Miura. Mikka is taken hostage and a takonpa fires its gatling gun at Miura followed by a barlo garrison going on the offensive. Green and Yellow fend them off while Red helps Miura. Bara Separate turns into an energy ball to show up and attack Red and Miura. The model jeep used here is pretty good. Green and Yellow were not able to save Mikko as Bara Brain heads off. Miura tells Red about blueprints to the other machines on his computer while giving a speech that people cannot do things alone. Mikko screams as Green and Yellow caught her back with Bara Brain's squad chasing them down. He runs off to save her and distract them which works. The takonpa from earlier shoots at them while they get away. Later, we see blueprints for Sky Phoenix, Gran Taurus, and Dogu Lander, the five choriki mobiles combining into a robot. This happens as Bara Separate resumes his city rampage, likely to free George, Lizzie, and Ralph. The hanger crew works on the remaining machines while invasion forces are in full force with Acha and Kocha in a takonpa transmitting that the rampage will stop if they surrender. Also Bara Brain has Miura and will kill him in the next hour. Mikko begs them to help and they do so. They could call GoGoV, I wonder what happened to them. Insert montage of them in their cockpits here as Miura talks about their talents. Buldont, Hysteria, Acha, and Kocha beam down from a baractica waiting for the Ohrangers. Bara Brain suggests they slay Miura now and Hysteria pulls out a gun. Suddenly, the choriki mobiles shoot at them, all five going into battle which shocks Bara Brain. The takonpas attack which does very little as Red rides his machine and uses his sword to cut one in half. Green rams, Blue bites, Yellow fires four laser vulcans, and Pink fires a cannon and two 4-tube missile launchers.

Bara Brain in a takonpa fights Red with a smokescreen and flamethrower while Bara Separate uses an energy boomerang and hand beams followed by turning into a giant metal ball. Bara Brain somehow made it back to the ground as he commands Bara Separate- Why is Red's machine in power cables? The mechanics at the base worry about the choriki mobiles losing energy as Bara Separate turns into a fire ball before the ground begins to erupt in a volcanic explosion. The source is the five temples from earlier which spawn energy crystals in the control consoles. The Ohrangers use these storage crystals to combine into Ohranger Robo or OR as I will call it to save on typing time. Glorious. OR handles Bara Separate with ease as the Super Crown Sword is spawned and executes a single slice which blows the machine beast to pieces- Wait, Bara Brain's sphere is reforming it! Now they use the Crown Final Crash to cut and bust it which also kills Bara Brain. The Ohrangers save Miura who does a speech about how humans are part of nature like the choriki energy. To repay nature they must defeat the Baranoia and the episode ends with Mikko and Miura hugging. Next episode shows OR sighting a Baranoia fleet.

Bara Separate continued: An energy ball form, a back energy boomerang, hand beams, a metal ball form that can be encased in fire, and reformation

Episode 8:

Oh I see now, they are doing quick previews in the opening from now on. Baraticas appears in orbit and descend toward Japan. The Ohrangers transform in the base and head out in the choriki mobiles. The fleet destroys the surrounding city, partially thanks to compositing. Wrath is in one of them with Acha and Kocha who notices the Ohrangers coming in. OR is formed from combination and Wrath demands all weapons fire on it. A baractica unleashes dozens of takonpas and OR has the Super Crown Sword ready or SC Sword as I will call it from now on to save on time. The takonpas use their sonic guns the baractica uses underside lasers, but OR is only smoking as the SC Sword is thrown at the enemy fortress and returns after hitting. Wrath demands they charge forward despite Acha pleaing for them to run aka the emotion of fear. They decide to do so and Hysteria scolds her husband. Acha blames OR and Wrath laughs at them as failure does not exist in his dictionary. Hysteria wonders of a "that army" before cutting to planet Daurora, home to shadow puppets that turn out to be killer robots, one being named Bara Missiler. At Tokyo we see- NO RUBBLE WHATSOEVER, JUST PEOPLE ENJOYING THE DAY. 0/10 WORST SENTAI EVER BECAUSE MOUTH TALKING DIALOGUE EVERYONE WORSHIP CINEMASINS/HONEST TRAILERS/CHRIS STUCKMAN/NOSTALGIA CRITIC/BLOCKBUSTER BUSTER BECAUSE BOO HOO! Yellow and Pink ride around when they hear something in the sky and it turns out to be two missiles. It destroys a nearby building, just missing them as they run to help people. Another pair shows up to destroy a building while the men try to track the location of the missiles. The theory of it being a machine beast is deduced and Miura has them head out. On the moon base we find out Acha brought Bara Missiler while Kocha is operated on against his will because Wrath wants to improve him. Acha follows soon after as the barlos in white coats operate on them BECAUSE ROBOTS TOTALLY NEED THAT. Wrath says he will face them personally.

The Ohrangers head out via jetter machines as missile barrages obliterate Tokyo. Wrath and Bara Missiler greet the Ohrangers to an explosive welcome complete with rock slides. Red manages to stun him when Acha and Kocha show up, the latter turning into a wrecking ball that gets thrown and uses a port to feed Bara Missiler green goo that makes him kaiju size or "Baranoia enlargement system" as Wrath puts it. They call the choriki mobiles which take off via remote control and they enter by turning into energy trails because sillier powers should be acknowledged in anniversary series. OR is formed and Wrath cheers on Bara Missiler, said joy being AN EMOTION. Bara Missiler actually holds his own well and even chains up OR, threatening to throw it into the sun. Bara Missile flies toward the sun and within mere seconds MANAGES TO REACH SAID SUN- Wait, why is the sun red? The chains break and OR is sent in, Pink saying they will burn to death. Red has Green command OR which changes the helmet, allowing a surge to bust the remaining chains. Yellow is in command, her helmet having a pair of vulcan cannon that act like thrusters. Wrath celebrates early before OR returns to Earth seconds later with its regular helmet. Also Bara Missiler withstood a kick from that momentum. Pink has her helmet used which is a big energy cannon followed Blue using his helmet which is a triangular tractor beam. Red takes back his seat with his helmet to bring out the SC Sword from the forehead crest and use the Crown Final Crash to destroy Bara Missiler or simply Crash as I will call it from now on. Wrath runs away frightened and the episode ends with the Ohrangers sniffing flowers and counting on OR for future battles. Next episode shows the men being poisoned and Yellow being brainwashed.

Bara Missiler: Powers include shoulder homing missiles, laser resistance, a pair of abdomen chains, and flight faster than light

Episode 9:

Yellow and Pink go out shopping, the latter pointing out they should be on patrol while the former says they are in their prime and should be looking for men. Insert fashion montage here that ends with them wearing the same outfit which results in insults and glares before their oh braces go off. Tokyo is attacked by a machine beast named Bara Darts and barlos. The men show up and Bara Darts talks about how awesome his sharpshooting skills are by shooting apples off of barlo heads followed by fans- No, wait, it was a trick to distract them as they get poison darted. Also Lone Ranger music plays in the background. Gotta admit, that was clever. The women show up, Yellow using a gas grenade before cutting to base where the trio are in chamber beds. Miura says they are rusting over and Pink blames herself for shopping. Miura says they only have six hours left while Wrath laughs at how the Ohrangers will turn to scrap metal. Bara Darts goes on a rampage and starts darting plant life before the women show up. He says he has an antidote with him and they transform. However, they are beaten up rather easily. Yellow admits they lost and begs for mercy, Pink asking what the hell. Bara Darts tells Yellow to kill Pink if she is serious and she walks in an aggressive pose. Pink runs off as the men continue being in agony. Pink sees this and wonders what to do since Yellow betrayed them and only three hours remain. Yellow kisses the right hand of Bara Darts and promises Pink's head. Wrath tells Bara Darts, from the Moon, the women are deceptive just before Hysteria calls him out on it. Seeing the main baddie nervous, amusing. Pink gets attacked by Yellow via guns and- That cocktail dress from earlier the two fought over.

Both charge and fight and gratuitous panty shots (granted, not as bad as earlier entries). The fight is actually amusing. Pink gets held in place and Bara Darts accidentally fires on Yellow. She begs for the antidote and reveals she betrayed him, even having a steel plate under the dress. Pink is shocked, but blows it off easily now that everything makes sense. Bara Darts reveals that was a bomb.... That doesn't kill them. Also the men show up as Miura came up with his antidote, making negotation worthless. Bara Darts throws it and Pink catches it before we find out they were holograms made by Pink. Acha shows up with barlos to play football with it. So comical and funny, much like older sentai. Pink makes off with it and Yellow fights them off. At the base the antidote is used.... TEN MINUTES AFTER THE DEADLINE! Yellow is almost slain when Pink and the men show up, her wielding a bow and arrows. Also Miura turned the clock ten minutes forward on purpose for motivation. The five transform and fight baros who now use their stun batons as bo staffs. Yellow and Pink fight Bar Darts as he runs out of ammo followed by Red using a slash attack. Kocha is thrown and makes him big followed by the choriki mobiles being summoned so the Ohrangers can energy trail themselves into their cockpits and form OR. The sun slowly sets int he background as both giants clash, the women using their helmets for laser vulcans, a whirlwind, a cannon, and the SC Sword being brought out before the Crash terminates Bara Darts. The episode ends with the men buying the women new clothes and fugu. Next episode shows blueprints being stolen and the premier of the Giant Roller.

Bara Darts: Powers include tail poison darts, head electric bolts, a left arm pincer claw, twin electric stingers on the back, twin head horns, and electric shocks

Episode 10:

After a recap of eps 7 and 8, Wrath blows a gasket and acts rageful. Acha pulls out a screwdriver and fixes Wrath. Buldont comes up with an idea to make a hacking robot ro steal their data and prevent them from combining. Wrath likes it and Acha's head is swung off. Cut to the Ohrangers on their jetter machines responding to a machine beast siting in a lab. They find a security guard knocked out followed by a computer room with papers everywhere. A sprite on screen says death to the Ohrangers when the machine beast appears, revealing to be named Bara Hacker. Red and Yellow fight him off although that does little in such a tiny space. The others show up and transform once they are down. Later, we see the Ohrangers back at base finding out about Bara Hacker's enhancement field and deduce he is trying to overwrite data so OR cannot be used. I know the dialogue transition is really odd. Yellow says they have complex passwords when Red says they have twenty one. Miura points out that no matter how complex a maze one can solve it. A call comes in about Bara Hacker attacking again, this time at a bank where ATMs spew money. Outside they see signal lights going on and off, causing car accidents- THIS IS LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD, SOMEONE CALL OFFICER MCCLAIN! Buldont tells his dad Bara Hacker has discovered nineteen of the passwords with Wrath demanding music for the occasion so Acha and Kocha play a little of whatever was in 2001: A Space Odyssey. Bara Hacker tries getting data with Acha and Kocha assisting him.

Bara Hacker looks around a computer room for a data bank to hook up to. He finds choriki mobile blueprints in seconds of hooking up when graphics of Red show up saying it is over. The Ohrangers show up and say they will become scrap metal. Fighting ensues and the king smashers are brought out, but the energy field stops that. After that they split up, Red and Yellow being attacked as Bara Hacker turns into a TV (yes, a TV, not a comp). The others show up to regroup in a boiler room. Bara Hacker then uses a chainsaw followed by a cartoon round bomb that blows the building to pieces- No, wait, it still stands. The Big Bang Buster flunks at helping and Miura decides to bust out a new weapon. The choriki mobiles are summoned and Red's machine drops the Giant Roller, a giant wheel Red rides like the zanscare mobile suits in Victory Gundam and rams Bara Hacker while encased in fire. Acha throws Kocha to grow Bara Hacker which is followed by OR being formed. OR gets shocked, but choriki energy allows it to surge back. Green uses his helmet for a headbutt and electric bolts. Blue then uses his helmet for telekinetic beam throwing and blasting. The SC Sword is brought out to use the Crash, ending Bara Hacker which causes Wrath to throw a massive fit. Next episode shows citizens falling in love with objects and Acha given Hawaiian flower necklaces.

Bara Hacker: Powers include computer hacking, eye lasers, twin wrist blades that emit beams, weapon analysis, antennae electric blasts, an energy field, a television disguise, a head chainsaw, a bomb, and electric shock cables in the back

Episode 11:

A mom complains about her fridge being broken after less than a year when her son points out it is not plugged in. She throws a fit as the royals watch. Hysteria throws a fit with Buldont wondering if she will punish them and she replies yes. Bara Printer is sent to deal with that mom, hypnotizing her into loving her fridge. Her son bumps into Green saying his mom is acting weird and by weird we see she is fetishizing the fridge. Green wonders what is going on while Bara Printer has a school girl loving a printer and two bikers some tricycles kids are riding. I laughed too hard at that. Green has the boy, Satoshi, look after his mom while Bara Printer has a bride at a church fall in love with an electric fan, but Green stops that. Barlos show up to make things hectic- Wait, why are his regular punches affecting them!? The others show up and CONTRARY TO EARLIER EPISODES THEIR REGULAR MELEE ATTACKS ARE BEATING THEM UP. WHY!? Bara Printer has them love an electric fan, but that fails and they run off. Once they regroup under a bridge while Hysteria says they will not stop there as her fiendish plan includes making humans love the best machine ever, whatever that is. Green tries fighting Acha at a construction yard, but that fails since he has armor, like the barlos. NICE CONSISTENCY! Green tries convincing Acha he is the best machine of the Baranoia, but he does not fall for it and.... Just walks off with Bara Printer.

Acha has Bara Printer take his picture and tells the machine loving victims to love Acha instead who give him flower necklaces you'd see at a Hawaiian resort. The Ohrangers see this and realize that if they change it to Wrath they would go on a rampage as we see a montage of them destroying property. Green sees Satoshi trying to fight for his mom, but that fails. Green calls him out and has Bara Printer chase him for a while. Green has him use his hypnotizing beam on himself and goes after Acha once he shows up. Kocha wonders what is going on and blasts Bara Printers circuits with Acha cursing the Ohrangers. Barlos show up with their armored selves not being enough still before Bara Printer fires his guns at them. They finally transform with a pose before taking out the barlos properly. After that Green boxes with Bara Printer (yes, seriously) followed by ax slicing. The choriki mobiles are sent out and Red uses the Giant Roller on him. Kocha is thrown by Acha to make Bara Printer giant sized with OR being formed soon after- Oh wow, gotta love the blatant scale inconsistency shots.... Just like in the older shows! Green uses his helmet to fight Bara Printer off before Red brings out the SC Sword to execute the Crash, blowing Bara Printer to smithereens. The episode ends with Satoshi's mom back to normal, making him a meal, and Green checking up on them to make sure things are okay. Also Blue and Yellow complains about his plan being too complicated, but he blows it off. Next episode shows the Ohrangers taking care of a baby.

Bara Printer: Powers include a hypnotic eye, two laser machine guns under the eye, high jumping, and a laser gun in the right hand

Episode 12:

Hysteria complains about babies being ugly with Wrath thinking that babies are considered cute because internal programming. He suggests using this to their advantage. Cut to a mother tucking her baby named Kou into bed for the night. Once she leaves a clown doll comes to life, revealing to be Bara Baby. He uses some energy rings from the jewel on his head to tag every baby in the vicinity with them. The next day, Kou's mom rolls him around in a stroller and asks a friend to watch him- Oh that is Red. Green shows up to remind them today was their day off and they'd play video games. He makes Kou cry with silly faces and said crying destroys objects nearby. Red calls it in and Miura reveals that babies all over the place are emitting super sonic waves with Pink being affected too nearby followed by Yellow and then Blue. Mayhem ensues briefly before Bara Baby is spotted harassing a mom. The Ohrangers and barlos show up, the former transforming to beat the tar out of the latter. Super sonic waves from the mouth and energy blasts from the baton are fired from Bara Baby before he runs off rather fast. He then has Kou destroy a building before having all the babies nearby cry insanely loud. Wrath is enjoying this as Hysteria comments that nobody will want children now. Acha points out humans are good at keeping them quiet which causes Wrath to rage. We see this at a hospital as moms take care of their babies.... Also Yellow gets peed on. Wrath comments that human love is self destructive.... Which, depending on context, would not be far off. Bara Baby shows up to terrorize the babies, having the area collapse and taking Kou.

The Ohrangers and Kou's mom spot him near an oil refinery on a fire escape and if he cries it will doom the area. Red tells the mom they will recover him as she hands them a diaper just in case. Bara Baby, Acha, and Kocha show up with barlos to say babies will send their world to Hell. AkibaRed lied to us, that statement is no death flag! The others transform as Red walks up the fire escape where Kou is. Bara Baby fires at him to be a dick. Acha wants him to cry and tells Bara Baby to cause disturbances, but that fails. Red gives Kou tries feeding and changing him, but that doesn;t work as he starts whining. Three takonpas show up to shoot at the fire escape, Kou's stroller falls down, Red transforms, and gets directly hit with a takonpa sonic wave.... Meaning they are not lethal and just as weak as the fighters in the Space Sheriff trilogy! So yeah, Kou is okay and gets warm milk to calm him down because he dislikes cold milk. Kou's mom takes him and runs while the king smashers take out the takonpas. Bara Baby sonic waves them, but that fails as the king smashers bring him down. Kocha is thrown to grow him with the choriki mobiles being summoned to form OR once the Ohrangers energy trail in. Titans clash in the city, melee followed by Bara Baby using some projectiles before the SC Sword is brought out and the Crash ends him. After that the Kou's mom thanks the Ohrangers as they and Miura look after the tike for a bit, quickly mentioning the babies are back to normal. The episode ends with Miura unintentionally making Kou cry. Next episode shows Pink running in the woods and finding a dog.

Bara Baby: Powers include a clown doll form, energy rings from the head that cause babies to cry super sonic waves, super sonic waves from the mouth, baton energy blasts, teleportation whirlwinds from the ring, milk bombs, and mouth lasers

Movie:

Buldont has his own studio guarded by Camera Trick at the gate. A trojan horse appears and poops out Acha and Kocha and Buldont. The machine prince kid wants to make a movie for history and has Camera Trick flying around. Cue 20th anniversary logo and the opening theme here! In a plane we see Acha and Kocha piloting while three kids on bicycles talk to some girl named Misako briefly. Camera Trick views the three biking who then squat down and tell the smallest one to get them drinks even though he has no money. Suddenly they disappear and the Ohrangers are told by Pink to head to the area at once. Misako uses a bunch of tubes to listen in on Acha saying a movie called Machine Empire Century is being promoted before sending down fliers. Also a hundred billion yen production and this was before Avengers: Infinity Wars. Red and Yellow spot Camera Trick and follow it. Cut to Pink informing Miura what happened, he stops listening to flowing river sounds (seriously) and tells them not to let their guard down. They soon lose him when a machine with a Hitler mustache and balloons appears. She turns the area black via balloon popping and explodes, revealing to be a barlo. Misako gets teleported with the three bikers to the gate of Buldont's studio when a machine beast named Lockerhead shows up on a horse to proclaim them as movie stars. Also they go in a taxi. One in the studio they see lots of TV screens with eyes on them. Acha uses a wire to come down from the roof and tells them to put on goggles. The kids are placed on a bench to experience artificial reality as we see them thinking they are on a rollercoaster. This is followed by a train appearing with free snacks. Acha tells them and some other kids the shoot will be brutal so everyone gets ten million yen in advanced. Machine beast Catsignal says they will show up soon. Miura finds their base and Pink is sent to help them. The Ohrangers meet up outside the gate before we see Buldont walking down a red carpet viewing the Ohrangers intruding on screen. The barlos activate film reels which causes the train to move faster- No, wait it stops. There is even a band and cheerleaders. The train disappears soon after everyone is taken to a bus which Red and Yellow pass. The trojan horse from earlier poops out a machine beast named Kabochumpkin who just flies off. Green, Blue, and Pink see robots acting romantically before being caught and breaking. Turns out the male one was a human that was brainwashed. This is followed by models of military vehicles attacking and Kabochumpkin roping off Pink. Green and Blue transform and pursue, but get stopped by flamethrowing pumpkins. Buldont enjoys the fire torture before passing out. Pink's rop gets shot and she transforms before the three fire their king blasters at Kabochumpkin, forcing her to run. Meanwhile, Red and Yellow fight Signalcat and transform. During an illusion attack Fauzipper appears to make a hassle until he runs out of batteries. Buldont thinks Fauzipper made the cut bad, but takes it out on Acha. Fauzipper fires electric bolts from his hands before fleeing.

After that the captured kids see barlo soldiers before having to stop as an action scene is being filmed. It is actually find of neat, barlos fight one another, one in a takonpa asks if they are hungry. A plane flies by and shoots the bus, causing the driver to move. The Ohrangers see this on a monitor including the kids as the bus goes through a blockade and chicken coop. Red spots a chimney and goes down it, upon doing so he is outside where the bus and plane are.Lockhead tries roping Red, but he shocks him somehow, allowing the Ohrangers to steal his horses to chase the bus down, neat. The robot driver blows up as the buss heads for a cliff, the Ohrangers getting the kids out just in time. They make it to a bridge with barlos firing machine guns at them. The others handle the grunts while Red has them make it across. Takonpas blow the bridge apart complete with slow motion and ires. Wrath talks about humans ravaging a mere 3.5 billion year old planet and thinks the Baranoia are much better at preserving the planet through cruelty on the humans. Also he gives Hysteria a rose because they believe in love despite telling their minions to do no such thing. Buldont thinks his parents want to make his film a musical while Acha proclaims climax time is a foot and the clapper claps. The Ohrangers see the filming of the action scene going on and find out some of them were innocent humans that were augmented. Kind of dark if you think about it. A suicide robot nearly gets them before we see two people being forced into a jail bunker along with the kids and survivors of the filming. Buldont thinks to turn them into metal and Acha agrees. He goes with Kocha who sees Misako helping the injured. Barlos go after the kids and take them to a filming spot to see an execution take place. Seriously, a barlo cuts off some guy's legs. Misako screams at the villains and this does nothing. Two of the three bikers try running only for the machine beasts to catch them. The third bites a barlo to break free, meaning they feel pain for some reason. Misako and the third one lie down and give poetry about the sky and the Earrth being alive (Changeman homage?). The Ohrangers head over as Misako is to be executed first. She is blindfolded and before being slain the Ohrangers show up and transform with intros and grunt slaughter. The machine beasts attack followed by the Big Bang Buster weakening them. After that Acha has them combine into Steampunk with Kocha making the combined machine beast grow. After that the choriki mobiles are sent out and combine into Ohranger Robo. Fighting ensues wih Red going onto Steampunk and rescuing the kids before heading back in. The Super Crown Sword is brought out, but Steampunk turns back into human sized and tries getting away. The Crown Final Smash cuts the tracks and he crashes to his doom which somehow destroys the studio. Buldont suggests making a kaiju film next time while the bikers bicker about earlier. Misako tells them not to bully the small one or else in the name of the Moon she will punish them. Clearly she is a Baranoia agent! The movie ends with all the minor actors getting two seconds followed by the main stars.

=================================================
Contrary to what the caplocks would have you believe I am finding this series great so far. The suits? Possibly the best in the franchise up to this point with Flashman and Zyuranger being the only real contenders. The villains have a wide variety of emotions and contradict themselves with villainous smug on a frequent basis while still acting human, I like it, it sort of reminds me of Bender from Futurama. For the heroes, Red seems to hog some screen time and neither Yellow or Pink get individual eps to themselves, rather they share (like a lot of previous blue and yellow rangers were given in earlier sentai). This series takes aspects from many of the older sentai series and makes it modern without silly political correctness nonsense, I like it too! It is nice to see ideas like this redone every now and then. As for the "everything goes down after episode 8" bit here are my two cents thus far: The villains are still in character, they are just upset at losing and have no idea how to handle it; plus they are so smug at contradicting themselves it is hilarious and makes them lovable.:laugh:Second, aside from Red and Blue we know next to nothing about the Ohrangers before that point and lets be honest, episode 8 had OR nearly being destroyed by being sent into the sun. I think traveling a full astronomical unit in seconds without help and almost dying would make someone like Yellow go "maybe I should enjoy life a little bit before I end up dying" because lets be honest, that was awesome, but in-universe being terrified is something I could understand. Not to mention the "female ranger fakes being a traitor" bit was already done in Maskman and to a lesser degree in other series. On top of that, lets be honest guys, a high budget series like this would be difficult to pull off and there was a bunch of stock footage already, reducing it after setting so much up would be necessary. Not to mention I found the writing to be kind of clever- Wait, awesome moments AND clever moments in the same series!? MY LITTLE SENTAI CAN'T BE THIS GOOD! On top of all that, the villain plans make sense for maniacs in power, plus their main motive was to enslave people rather than exterminate, so their methods make sense. For Miura he is kind of basic, but nothing bad. Granted, inconsistencies like the barlos being vulnerable to standard human melee after the opening episodes is stupid, it would be nice if we saw other places than just Japan being attacked, for a galactic empire we only see one planet they conquered briefly, and there have been better opening and ending themes in the franchise (not that these ones are bad or such thing, they just could have been better compared to previous themes since this is an anniversary series).

GUIS finally finishes Bioman and Crunchyroll licenses Ultraman Nexus! No stopping the tokusatsu train with part 3!

Episode 13:

At Mount Fuji Bara Magma and his squad are digging for whatever and cause a rock slide. This manages to injure a hiker when a dog tries helping him.... Before simply walking away. Cut to Miura telling the Ohrangers about the strangeness at Mount Fuji and sends them out via jetter machines. The men and women split up to cover more ground. Pink is attacked by takonpas when alone with Bara Magma using a missile assault to send her over a cliff. She turns back into her civilian form and loses her oh brace, forcing her to run from barlos into the woods. She spots the dog from earlier while hiding around some rocks before deciding to follow it into a cave which helps her evade the barlos. Pink and the dog manage to get across a waterfall until she is spotted and has to jump down, looks painful. She manages to barely get away before entering the cabin of an old man and his grandson. She thinks they rescued her, but it was the God Dog. Meanwhile, the others find Pink's jetter machine and wonder what happened to her. The grandpa and grandson explain that God Dog appears after every tremor and helps them find people injured from earthquakes- Wait, was that a ZAT costume from Ultraman Taro? No, wait, just the same colors. Also the boy nicknamed it Johnny. The barlos suddenly attack the cabin via spears. Pink manages to beat them up via spear stealing (NOW THEY REMEMBER CONTINUITY!). During this, Blue spots the area the Baranoia was digging with a busted barlo nearby, Red concluding they are trying to make Mount Fuji erupt.

The boy, Shouta, leads Pink to a cave once her feet are feeling better. Johnny shows up with Pink's oh brace- they are called power braces? Eh, close enough. She thanks the dog while Shouta notices in a cave that Buldont, Acha, and Kocha are seeing Bara Magma opening a hole into the mantle that will cause mass eruptions via a big bomb. Shouta is caught outside and quickly caught. He is being pushed into the magma pit with Johnny leading Pink to the scene as the Dog God attacks them. On the moon Hysteria scolds Acha and Kocha for letting the Dog God bite Buldont and Wrath says the dog will be torn to shreds. Bara Magma attacks Johnny and Pink goes to save him. Once he gets hurt Pink finally bothers to transform and wail on grunts followed by dueling with Bara Magma. Her right foot still hurts a tad, hindering her. However, she fires an energy ball on the machine beast- Oh wow that failed. The others show up to shoot at him and strike a pose followed by flying kicks and Giant Rollering him in the face. Acha throws Kocha to make Bara Magma big and the Ohrangers enter their choriki mobiles via energy trails to become OR. Wasting no time in the fight both colossal machines go in melee strong. OR uses Pink's helmet briefly before the SC Sword is brought out and ends the fight with the Crash. After that Pink looks for Johnny, yelling for him in the hazy landscape with Shouta joining in. Before long barking is heard and Johnny is spotted looking alright. Next episode shows cooking ramen and kids playing baseball with Pinocchio robots.

Episode 14:

At a ramen shop we see Green and Blue munching down on some, the former liking it while the latter not so much. They find out the chef is actually a robot with a long nose. Green thinks it is cool as hell before cutting to the base where Blue shows everyone a video borrowed from 21st Century Cyber Industries (OH NO SKYNET!). The vid demonstrates Pinocchio robots who are family friendly, also Yellow and Pink change their hairstyles and judging my Million Fold Century's blog this will last well into ep 21. Anyway, one robot demonstrates how awesome he is at baseball. The video ends and Blue tells them they are in the testing stage with Miura thinking it is a Baranoia plot. The Ohrangers investigate the factory with nothing afoot. We see some blueprints briefly and the creators says he is making them to help humanity. Yellow walks out with a baby Pinocchio. Cut to the moon where Acha tells the royals that their Pinocchio plan is working well as Wrath plans to put them into politics so they can control the world- Wait, it was already established you controlled a huge chunk of the planet! Yellow daydreams about what she will do with her new Pinocchio where explosions occur. Red and Yellow get out of the jeep and find a gunman nearby, pursuing the dangerous entity until they fight him at a trainyard. The others show up and the gunfire continues, forcing them to transform. The gunman gets away although Red wounds him via laser shooting. Pink spots his head and cloak, revealing it to be a machine. Green notices the ramen shop Pinocchio biking nearby and follow it back to the restaurant where the owners change its batteries. They ask if their robot was ona delivery and they deny it so much the owner demands they leave. The Ohrangers pretend to leave and spot the Pinocchio on a delivery run, no weapons being detected. Meanwhile, Acha and Kocha has a kid Pinocchio armed with a bomb to get the Ohrangers of their prototype's trail.

Yellow passes a checkpoint to the base with her little Pinocchio who comments they are entering the base. The men are convinced the ramen shop one is innocent when Pink tells them Yellow showed up. Green runs out, checks the doll out, hears it, and runs out the gate before throwing it over a bridge where it explodes. Blue scolds Yellow and Acha is disappointed so he sets a bomb on the ramen shop one. The owners' child spots this and they nab him with three other random people to place bombs in a warehouse. The Ohrangers arrive and fight a bunch of barlos. Here we find out the ramen shop Pinocchio was the gunman aka Bara Pinokiller who proceeds to shoot them. Greens gets trapped behind a hidden door with the bombs which start going off, leaving small fires. Green transforms, unties them, and the ceiling collapses, forcing the other sto transform and use their king blasters and battle sticks to fight back. Red punches a wall to help Green and the hostages out. Acha throws a grenade which brings down the whole building, but the Ohrangers and civilians make it out before fighting Pinokiller who handles them all quite easily. They bonk him all at once with their battle sticks followed by a king smasher barrage while a new insert song is played. The Giant Roller is brought out to ram Bara Pinokiller which Acha and Kocha decide to make big. The Ohrangers energy trail into the choriki mobiles to become OR. A melee kaiju fight ensues with neither gaining a big lead. Yellow uses her helmet to counter followed by green. Before long the SC Sword is brought out, cuts Bara Pinokiller's nose off to stop further beam spam, and ends him with the Crash. At the ramen shop everyone except Yellow is enjoying themselves. Green tries to cheer her up with ramen to which they both find out is too salty. Next episode shows Wrath and Blue fighting a machine beast made of scrap metal.

Bara Pinokiller: Powers include a gatling gun for the left hand, sonic waves from the right hand, shoulder circular saws, and a nose beam

Episode 15:

This ep is said to be perfect, is that true? Let us find out. On the Moon, Wrath demands production hurry up and that only elites should be allowed to serve the Baranoia. During this we see a junkyard of busted barlos and- Change Robo and DaiZyuZin? Yup, the props of both old robots can be seen here, in-universe one could say they are failed replicates of them or something. In the scraps of machine death some parts are photoshop stretch tooled together to form Bara Revenger who storms Wrath's castle. He demands to know why he was killed and the two fight, for a fat machine Wrath can hold his own. Bara Revenger reveals he is composed of the spirits of all his murdered minions. Wrath beats him up so hard he throws him to the Earth. Cut to Blue at a theme park who is jealous of the local young couples. He spots a small dog, picks it up, and gets a call on his power brace that a power center is being attacked so he suits up and rides off. Bara Revenger steals a lot of energy from the energy center to fight Wrath. Blue arrives, revealing he took the dog, and infiltrates the area before spotting Bara Revenger. The others show up soon after, but Bara Revenger reveals he has no interest in them and runs off. Once Bara Revenger runs off Blue reveals his dog, Shiro, is gone. Bara Revenger is revealed to have his dog after saving it from a care. He tells Blue that Wrath slays robots for the tiniest flaws and thus he has no interest in humans. Shiro is given back and he walks off. Later, Wrath tells Acha to do something who replies that simply killing is not enough. After that Bara Revenger aims for another energy center where guards open fire on the robot that survived crashing from the atmosphere.... Somehow this takes him down when it should not. Blue stops them from doing worse.

Blue takes Bara Revenger to a quarry and uses his choriki crystal to try to restore his energy. Bara Revenger says he will not hurt anyone other than Wrath and reconsiders his opinion on humans. Explosions occur and Acha taunts them from a hill with barlos. The mooks attack and get beaten down, Bara Revenger taking some punishment and Blue transforms. Also Acha has eye flash powers. The others show up to pummel the remaining barlos before a rock slide occurs from a lightning storm. Said lightning storm was caused by Wrath who teleports to the surface to face the Ohrangers. The barlos and Acha restrain him as the latter plants a remote control device in the defector machine beast (fun fact: his Power Rangers Zeo equivalent was named Defector). He resists this and attacks the machine emperor. Acha maximizes the power output which seems to work. Blue tries appealing to him before they are all sent over a cliff. Blue holds his saber arm in place, vowing to protect his pride as he beats up Bara Revenger himself including rolling into an energy ball by flipping a lot. Red brings in the Giant Roller to deal with Bara Revenger, but Blue begs for him to do the finishing and does so. Red says it is dangerous without stating why. The explosion forces Blue out and Bara Revenger is barely alive. Bara Revenger thanks Blue, telling him not to cry, and that his soul will remain with them until Wrath is defeated. Born from scrap, return to scrap, ashes to ashes, dust to dist, Bara Revenger tracks down a human junkyard to lay his body before petting Shiro one final time. Next episode shows a boy from the future that befriends Green.

Bara Revenger: Powers include a lance right hand, a left wrist shield and armor strong enough to withstand atmospheric reentry

Episode 16:

Bara Devil plays his pelvis piano to create a Devil World which is basically a bunch of apocalyptic illusions to scare the humans including Green. This goes on for a while before he calls it in. On the Moon we find out from Buldont it is all a virtual reality to terrorize the humans which his parents like. Green arrives and Bara Devil uses note bombs which accidentally summons a boy from the far future. Said boy also has a crystal pendant. Green transforms to protect him and lay smackdown on the grunts. The others show up to help him out with the future boy running off during the fight. Green heads after him as we see the best ranger versus mook fight in a while, gotta love the camera work here. Green tries keeping up with future boy and loses him thanks to a modern boy nabbing him. They talk to each other, modern boy is Mikio and future boy is Jun, Green listens in. Jun got his pendant from his dad who was space traveling before Bara Devil brought him to the present time. Green asks when he was born and it turns out is from two hundred years in the future. On the Moon the royals conclude time travel is possible and that they can conquer ancient man with their barlos- Wait, they want to kill them, I thought they wanted slaves! Buldont is in charge of pendant retrieval. Bara Devil tries attacking, but the pendant prevents his Devil World from being useful. The boys take some cake from an abandoned cart and run when Green is unable to watch them. At the base Miura says they must analyze Bara Devil's power while Green should retrieve Jun.

Jun reveals to Mikio they eat tubes and gum in the future rather than cake when Mikio's mom tells them to give back the cake they stole. They proceed to do so and Jun finds himself alone before Green shows up to help. Jun wants to go home and Mikio gives his friend a hug when Bara Devil shows up kaiju sized to attack. A squad of barlos appears and Green transforms to fight them. He calls for the choriki mobiles with Red dogfighting against takonpas before going down in the Giant Roller as Green gets grabbed by Bara Devil. Green is let go and Red helps him out. Green asks Jun for the pendant and gets into his choriki mobile where Miura analyzes it. After that the choriki mobiles do an all out assault followed by forming OR. Note bombs are fired from the piano on the pelvis when Miura tells them about the pendant functioning with space-time energy. After that Green throws the pendant back to Jun after OR has his helmet on. Red tells Green to play the piano a certain tune to send Jun back- HOW DOES A LITTLE KID MANAGE TO KNOCK DOWN A BARLO!? The music is repeated and Jun returns to his normal time. The titans clash once more until OR brings out the SC Sword which destroys him with the Crash. The episode ends with the barlos disappearing with everyone hoping Jun is doing well. Next episode shows Acha and Red in go carts and a mad scientist.

Episode 17:

A boring day at the base with Blue on patrol until he spots a barlo kidnapping a boy from his mom. The barlo drops him and Blue pursues him to an abandoned factory. Some clever bombing causes Blue to go over the railing while the barlo is a human named Genius Kuroda. Kuroda uses a laser torch to remove Blue's power brace and steal it before shocking Blue to send him to his doom. Gotta love the jetpack escape. Later, Miura tells them he was a world class scientist and says he cannot make other power braces. He tells them to think about if power braces got into Baranoia hands. Miura then states Kuroda was seen at Rindo Lake Family Farm from Kakuranger which has replaced Namegawa Island as summer special episodes in Super Sentai. We see Kuroda flying through the Nasu Highlands to his house and greets himself home to his son, Shigeru. He says they will soon be rich and Shigeru thinks his dad did something bad since he has been spouting Baranoia propaganda recently. Suddenly Shigeru's head starts hurting while the Ohrangers make it to the park. Barlos show up near Kuroda's house, making him worry. Red tells them they have transmitters that will detect a power brace within twenty meters of them as they go around the park's various attractions. Shigeru wakes up and hears his dad making a deal with Buldont, Acha, and Kocha what with power brace stealing and all. He wants the country of Japan in exchange and Kuroda tries being a sneaky salesman demanding his part of the bargin first. Once the Baranoia leave Buldont says he will be betrayed eventually. Shigeru runs into the park and spots Blue and Yellow with the transmitter going off. Shigeru gets scared and runs off while Miura tells them he is Kuroda's son (the transmitters have screens for those wondering how).

Bara Vacuum attacks Blue and Yellow with a squad of barlos. Yellow transformed and gets beaten up with Blue doing worse. The others are ambushed by barlos fro underground, confirming they can burrow. Blue is soon vacuumed into Bara Vacuum's body where sharp gears turn toward him. Yellow escapes and tells the others what happened. Shigeru and Kuroda are spotted, the latter firing a laser at them before his son tells him to knock it off and tells them to give it back. Red asks Kuroda if he wants his son to cry when Buldont shows up and sicks Bara Vacuum and his squad on them. Red fends off Bara Vacuum when we find out Shigeru was a robot this whole time. He never knew and passes out as the power brace falls out of his body. Green takes it and shoves a rock in Bara Vacuum's mouth. After this we have a game of catch the brace complete with barlos in go carts, Yellow maneuvering through a playground, Pink and some mooks in boats, and Red also go cart racing. Bara Vacuum soon sucks him up and gives Blue his power brace so he can transform. They shoot their way out and slaughter grunts. Blue does his roll attack followed by the Ohrangers using flying kicks and the Giant Roller being used. Acha and Kocha drive a go cart before the former throws the latter to make him giant size. The Ohrangers have OR formed from their choriki mobiles to have a giant robot monster fight. OR holds his own and uses Blue's helmet before the SC Sword destroys Bara Vacuum via the Crash after a few cuts. After that Kuroda and his robot son disappeared with Red saying Shigeru's heart is human and that they should still care, ending on a cliffhanger. Next episode shows Kuroda as a cyborg that the Ohrangers fight.

Episode 18:

After a recap of last episode we see Kuroda trying to repair Shigeru in his house. He asks why he is a robot and it is revealed the real Shigeru was hit by a turning truck two years ago. In other words Cutey Honey's origin. Shigeru does not want the robot life when Kuroda realizes the Baranoia are machines too so they are fit for ruling Earth. Cut to the Ohrangers riding a lift when they spot a baractica landing. They enter Kuroda's house where Shigeru says he left. On the Moon Wrath laughs at Kuroda acting like the average /m/ poster with machine loving, Ohranger bashing, and the power of hatred- Wait, his wife died too? He hates human fragility and ignorance toward God- Wait, is he a religious fanatic? Also maniacal laughter that takes Wrath back a tad. Miura shows up with the others to be given a floppy disc. Red wonders why Shigeru was left behind as we see Green and Pink listen to him hear about how he and his dad liked the farm park so much- There is an art museum here? Shigeru now thinks the memories are fake when something from underground attacks. These turn out to be golden tentacles- I mean metal vines. Green calls Red about it. The others arrive and only see Shigeru who is briefly passed out and tells them Green and Pink were taken- And I just noticed Yellow is back to her first hair style. Miura tells them the floppy disc has Shigeru's blueprints and that he has a bunch of weapons on him. Suddenly Yellow is attacked by the vines when Shigeru sheds his human face and fires a laser at a them. Red thinks the tentacles are controlling him before he and Blue transform. Shigeru also uses a mouth flamethrower before Yellow is taken off. Red and Blue head into a cave which turns out to be a secret base. Kuroda has the others in his tentacles, now being a machine of the Baranoia. Wrath is impressed to see what a human as a machine could accomplish, also his son is merged with him.

Red calls out Kuroda's insanity, but he fails at caring as Shigeru's eye beams are spammed. Red and Blue also get entangled so Shigeru's mouth flamethrower can be used. The Ohrangers try talking Shigeru down which eventually works as he tells his dad to stop as he sheds tears. Wrath gets POed and we find out Kuroda was actually possessed by a machine beast named Bara Ivy. The scientist and Bara Ivy exchange blows with Kuroda telling the Ohrangers to take his son out of the cave which begins to erupt violently. Bara Ivy makes it out while having a squad of barlos show up and the others transform to exterminate them. After that Bara Ivy smacks them around with Red fighting back with his sword- Oh nice, a forest background at what should be a hillside, nice stock footage use there. Big Bang Bomber is used, Acha throws Kocha, Bara Ivy grows, the choriki mobiles are called in, and OR is formed. Bara Ivy somehow gets regular arms now and kicks OR around, partially thanks to burrowing. However, OR uses the SC Sword to end him with the Crash. After that the Ohrangers locate Shigeru who asks if his father died since he will too. Red comments that humans should not think of dying. He thanks the Ohrangers before shutting down. Miura shows up to say Shigeru has just temporarily stopped functioning. After weapon removal he should be fine.... And later we see the Ohrangers taking him on a tour through the theme park. The episode ends with Red commenting on his human heart. Next episode shows the premier of Red Puncher.

George Lucas approves of the next Star Wars movie! Meanwhile we will make it half way through with part 4!

Episode 19:

Machinery pertaining to transportation shuts down because of a giant machine beast named Bara Builder. OR shows up to fight it with its fists. OR uses Green's helmet, but shortly after attacking it grows spikes. Once the same happens to Yellow, Wrath shows up to state Bara Builder absorbs energy. The SC Sword is brought out to cut it up, causing Wrath to surrender and say sorry- Oh wow, Bara Builder does it too. Actually no, a tentacle from the back burrows underground and absorbs OR's energy followed by a barrage of blue energy bolts. The SC Sword breaks and Wrath laughs as they flee back to the hanger for repairs. Miura is disappointed based on facial expression and states the situation looks hopeless. Red asks if they have any other method of fighting. The crystal in his power brace glows as a signal on the radar is beeping. Red runs out and toward it (I guess the blizzard cleared up) and he tracks it down. At the base the others find blueprints to another robot that was made before OR named Red Puncher. A small girl with flowers show up saying to dig up the robot that killed her brother because Maskman reference. The girl's name is Miyuki and she tells Red her brother was a UAOH lieutenant named Kirino and died two years ago. At a grave of rocks she gives it flowers for his passing. Cut to a cabin where Miyuki shows Red a picture of her brother when Miura and the others show up. He decides to "tell the truth", stating that Red Puncher was the predecessor to OR. Kirino snuck in thinking the invaders finally showed up. I would question continuity, but the events of Megaranger happened at this time and I think those villains were in virtual reality. Kirino's pic of three takonpas is enough for him to wreck the hanger and head out while Miura says it is not finished yet. Kirino could not control it properly and fell off a cliff to his doom. It is more hammy than it sounds. Miura blames himself for not containing the energy as well as he could have and asks for forgiveness. Red volunteers and Miura denies him. Also I will shorten it to RP to save on time. Red says she will avenger her brother and runs out unaware Kocha is spying on him.

Red makes his way to the cliff when Bara Builder shows up with Wrath. While energy bolts and being blasted, Red spots RP in the rocks. The others fire at Bara Builder so Red can free RP via sword slices. He manages to reach the cockpit while the others are grabbed and thrown by Bara Builder followed by bolt spamming as Miura watches helplessly. Suddenly the ground shakes and from underground comes the mighty crimson killer and IT IS GLORIOUS. Gotta love toy robot sounds. RP starts to spasm out and Wrath has Bara Builder absorb its energy. Red passes out and sees the ghost of Kirino. He travels with him to establishing shots in a nature documentary. After that he wakes up to see the ghost disappear and that means he must protect all life. Choriki energy from the underground pyramid empowers him and RP which makes him stable. After that we get lots of punching and kicking. The Puncher Gatllings are used which are laser gatling guns in the wrists which destroy Bara Builder. Miura tells the others well done before everyone heads to Kirino's grave, Red telling Miyuki what he saw. Miura thinks his spirit had to do with choriki energy as the episode ends with RP standing during a sunset. Next episode shows Green boxing against a machine beast.

Bara Builder: Powers include energy draining tentacles from the wrists, energy absorbing armor, eye energy balls, launchable head horns, a back tentacle that can burrow underground, and energy bolts from armor horns

Episode 20:

Buldont boxes against barlos with his mom and butlers cheering him on. His dad is sick of seeing this after RP just premiered. Hysteria says it is to defeat RP and create Bara Puncher. After that we see Green facing the Baranoia who have a boy hostage. Bara Boxer appears to fight Green who transforms and the two box. Greens ends up doing well, but Bara Puncher brings out a hammer to cheat. After a flying punch he turns back into his civilian form when Blue, Yellow, and Pink take out the mooks and Red saves the boy. Green thinks he broke a bone and Acha throws Kocha at Bara Boxer to make him kaiju sized under Buldont's orders. Red summons RP from the hanger- When did they have that huge cannon? RP spins upon being launched, Red energy trails in, and boxing ensues. RP gets blinded from freezing mouth mist followed by Bara Boxer imitating the flying punch Green used. On the Moon Buldont's parents applaud him for their work against RP who is being worked on in the hanger. Green feels guilty for what happened when the others tell him they would have done the same. Green vows to make things right as instead of waiting for his hand to heal he heads for a boxing gym. His old coach apparently warned him about the flying punch wrecking the body. The others look on from a window as the coach wonders how to help him and Green just walks out. The coach's grandson said that was mean an the hostage boy from earlier said he used the flying punch to save him. Insert flashback of Green's training days here, it sort of reminds me of Rocky 5. Red tells Green he needs to learn to box too and will be trained in his place.

Red is coached by Red how to box in the park with the boys and others cheering them on with the coach showing up to taunt him. Both fall down and Yellow scolds the coach. On the Moon, Bara Boxer is granted spikes to his fists. The coach walks over the Green to take his boxing pad so Red can train better- Oh yikes he accidentally hit him in the face. Now this is Creed! They do the same with RP who uses OR to train in boxing with Blue as the main pilot. Later, we see Bara Boxer ready for another round of fighting with RP being shot out toward him. Acha, Kocha, Buldont, and barlos set up a boxing arena via a control console that turns electricity into chains. Acha dings the bell and punching ensues followed by the same mist as before. The chains are also electrified to prevent escape and make a hazard. Bara Boxer backs him in a corner with Blue and the women taking out the grunts followed by transforming. Pink busts the console which destroys the ring. The boxing resumes, this time with RP easily beating up Bara Boxer. Gotta love the levitating and punching bit. A Magna Punch, RP's version of the flying punch, destroys Bara Boxer. Green thanks Red and they shake on it. Miura comments that RP now has a nice gift. Next episode shows a train, Blue in the cockpit of a wood machine, and OR and RP dancing in sync with Yellow and Pink.

Bara Boxer: Powers include a hammer, freezing mouth mist, high jumping, and fist spikes

Episode 21:

RP and OR dance in a quarry with Pink and Yellow complete with bad compositing. Also Green's hand is healed from last ep, apparently the working rehab is to test the joints or something. After OR trips we cut to the Moon where Wrath says it is seventy percent recovered. Hysteria thinks this is the best time to strike sinc ehtier guard is down. The dancing continues at a train yard except for Green and Blue who munch on ice cream cones. Two kids show up, one saying a robot was made in her city. At Yumeno, a city not the mentor from Dynaman, is a place in Japan that uses wood as its primary commodity with the mayor having a wooden robot constructed that took seven years and 500 yen to make. Considering the events of Zyuranger were going on according to this, I suppose magic being involved was intended. Makes you wonder where GoGoV is. Blue likes it and the mayor says they need a test pilot so he volunteers. He transforms before getting into the cockpit, pulling the levers to test the ball and stick on the right arm. It goes badly and Blue assumes if he practices he will get better. Outside we see boys playing with the ball and stick toy. Blue joins them and gets lectured about shoulder movements- WOW these boys are good. That night, Hysteria sends in Bara Kendama to replace Kendama Robo (the name of the wood bot) who is an identical duplicate. That morning Blue tells the others to give him half a day to make it. The kids beg Red to let him and they decide to do so. Blue finally succeeds in being successful. The mayor encourages a kendama dance that even the others join in on. Red tells Blue something is off about the wood as everyone is unaware Hysteria is nearby and activates Bara Kendama. Blue gets restrained in the cockpit as Bara Kendama goes on a rampage.

Hysteria with some barlos shows up to reveal she swapped out the real Kendama Robo- You could have framed innocent people and you failed at that! The people think their robot is on a rampage though as the grunts are quickly taken out- And shameless black panty shots for Yellow and Pink, shameless. The others transform and pose before continuing the fight. RP is sent out for Red to take care of Bara Kendama. Hysteria reminds him his teammate is inside of the machine beast. Blue struggles in his seat while RP gets the tar beaten out of him. Green wonders what happened to the real Kendama Robo and flees with the women, likely to elope. Sparks fly from RP before Green spots Kendama Robo in a quarry. Red leads Bara Kendama out of two to the quarry. The same thing as before occurs before Kendama Robo shows up to help with Green piloting it. Bara Kendama is punched open, allowing the women to rescue Blue. RP stops holding back and begins maximum punching. Talk about a fierce fight. The Magna Punch is used to blow Bara Kendama to pieces. The episode ends with Kendama Robo being returned to Yumeno and Blue realizing the importance of teamwork. Next episode shows OR being back and helping out RP to combine into Buster OR.

Bara Kendama: Powers include a kendama on the right arm, morphing its head, eye energy balls, and a spear head

Episode 22:

OR and RP run through a quarry and jump hurdles, play basketball, play soccer, and boxing training. Just like the goofiness in Fiveman, gotta love it. The SC Sword uses the Crash to cleave a boulder, indicating OR has fully recovered. During this the city is attacked once again, forcing RP into action first. OR follows as both face a giant spiked ball, Green's helmet being used to start the battle off. Both get attacked hard as Wrath laughs at them, commenting on balls being the most beautiful shape in existence for being unpredictable. Said spiked ball turns into a mole briefly before continuing the assault. Also it is named Bara Madillo. Miura tells them to combine which nobody knew they could do- Of course it was in the manual. Manual computer, but still. Pink thinks it is a smart move so they try it. Acha and Kocha panic, but the combining is incompatable before of some error. He tells them to withdraw for the time being. Wrath demands the secrets of the robots before cutting to the base where Miura reveals RP needs a memory chip. Red thinks it has to do with when Kirino died during the maiden activation. They go to Miyuki who seems to remember some hikers spotting a computer chip in the quarry. Kocha hears this before we see the boy, Satoru, experimenting with computers including the memory chip. The Ohrangers find Satoru's mom asking for a memory chip and he sees this. Barlos attack him to take him away and the Ohrangers transform to counterattack. The chase leads back to the quarry where Red gets to Satoru with lots of slow motion. After the fight Red wants the portable computer Satoru has for the memory chip. Satoru refuses because it was the creation of his father who died as it was incomplete due to no memory chip being small and powerful enough for it. Upon finding RP's memory chip he figured he could finish the computer. Bara Madillo shows up to attack with OR blocking it. Blue tells Red to get RP ready while they fend him off. Takonpas attack Red and Satoru from the air, causing them to go down a sandy hill.

The takonpas go into walker mode and hunt Red and Satoru through the woods- wow the compositing could have looked better. Barlos attack them on a bridge with Wrath firing electric bolts, forcing the ranger to jump off with the boy into the water. Somehow the tiny computer is still working once they get out of the water and Wrath finds them. The computer speaks the code and Wrath blasts it, laughing right after. Satoru whispers something and- NO, RED HAS THE CODE IMPRINTED ON HIS BACK! HOW- THE CHORIKI ENERGY FROM THE CHIP FLASHED AND IMPRINTED IT ON HIM!? Miura sees this and types the code into RP's data banks before launching him out and OH LORD THAT IS JUST NUTS. RP also fires star energy blasts from his visor at Wrath and his squad. OR gets clawed up from Bara Madillo before RP uses a Magna Punch to stave him off followed by the Punch Gatling. After that the two robots combine into Buster OR. They use the Big Cannon Burst which is basically charged up Punch Gatling shots which destroy Bara Madillo. On the bridge from earlier Satoru meets up with the Ohrangers with Red promising to finish his dad's creation. Next episode shows everyone at the beach and Yellow with a machine gun and bowie knife.

Bara Madillo: Powers include a levitating ball form, body spikes, large claws, and eye energy bolts

Episode 23:

This ep is said to be a fan fiction instead of a script, let us see if that is true. It is summer, the Ohrangers head to the beach for some swimming because they have the day off. Green goes hunting for chicks complete with fast motion swimming. Yellow and Pink pull a prank on him that consists of them wearing horror masks. Cut to the Moon where Buldont looks at a girly magazine where he wants a wife like that one. His dad agrees and Hysteria takes the magazine and scolds her son. They cover their butts by claiming they were looking at clothes. Hysteria reminds them human beauty is only skin deep and rips the Magazine up. At the beach the Ohrangers hit the changing rooms unaware Bara Clothes zaps their clothes. The men put theirs on and the women notice something is up so they face Bara Clothes. He insults their bust sizes and fighting ensues, the machine beast winning easily. The men show up and have weird looks on their face before their clothes turn to armor. Bara Clothes converts Pink as well, leaving only Yellow left to fight him and her teammates. They begin to strangle her despite her screaming at them. Her power brace is taken and she is pushed. Yellow jumps very high into the air and runs off into the woods. Yellow somehow gets a bowie knife, a machine gun (an FN MAG?), and an ammo belt. It is not long before she is spotted by the Baranoia and attacked. She runs through the woods looking for Bara Clothes, avoiding attacks from her friends as she makes her way to a river before escaping up a tree. She then uses a grapple hook and rope on one followed by spotting a boy in the bushes who says his parents are in the ocean. Yellow carries him for a bit before being ambushed again- And I just noticed her nipples are visable. Children's shows everyone! Wrath and Hysteria laugh at Yellow's misery during the fighting which ends with her using a smoke bomb.

Yellow washes her face at the river and the boy givers her a handkerchief, both unaware Bara Clothes is catching. An ambush occurs once more and she runs with the boy to a beach side cliff. A knife struggle ensues with Bara Clothes showing up and revealing the boy was one of his mind control lackeys. Using a grenade to distract them she jumps off the cliff. On the beach she leaves the unconscious boy on a bench near a cabin. She steals someone else's clothes before being attacked again on the shore. This time she gets beaten up badly and almost gets metallic waved. She throws off her one piece suit to reveal a bikini underneath. This distracts Bara Clothes long enough for her to cut his antenna which turns everyone back to normal. The Ohrangers transform and Yellow executes energy kicks followed by all of them doing rolling attacks. Acha throws Kocha to make Bara Clothes grow followed by Red summoning the choriki mobiles to form OR upon combining. Both giants go in melee heavy until Red brings in RP after Bara Clothes uses webbing and electric shocks. The Punch Gatling is fired to stun Bara Clothes followed by OR using Yellow's helmet. Buster OR is formed to use the Big Cannon Burst to terminate Bara Clothes who proclaims his love for Yellow. After Yellow gives back the clothes she took, the others thank her for saving them before heading back into the water. Next episode shows Pink in a kimono and a pirate.

Bara Clothes: Powers include metallic waves from the head that allow mind control, torso energy balls, and mouth and hand webs that emit electric shocks

Episode 24:

Boats float by Tokyo Bay where a pirate walks around. He spots Pink singing the opening theme and mustache twirls about things being interested. After that we see Pink in a kimono and the pirate meeting her being a suave creep. Apparently a festival is going on lead by her aunt. Some guy shows up with a wheeled cart offering an Ohranger story and candy. The kids eat the glowing goo while Pink and her Aunt talk. The kids become violent and attack them with poppers and water guns. Pink goes after them while they are biking as the pirate is amused. The meet again, the pirate using a retro top that changes the scenery to that of an older city before the pirate reveals his name, Bara Kakka. He calls himself the best of the machine beasts before ditching his disguise. Pink calls for help until he tells her they are in a pocket dimension and that he loves old people. He is using Pink's interests to beat her before fighting. She transforms and runs off into an ally where everyone looks fake. Also goldfish that become bombs and sonic chimes. Pink uses an energy ball on Bara Kakka which breaks the pocket dimension, allowing her to call for help as everyone chomps on watermelons (yum). A picture show is shown from cart guy from earlier who talks about the end of Pink by boiling pot. Pink calls out Bara Kakka who controls the children and having hem attack her. A new pocket dimension is formed from a card, this one in sepia tone with samurais, one armed with a revolver and being Bara Kakka again. Also he does the Cutey Honey shtick and screws up before ditching his disguise. Pink finds herself back in reality where her aunt is tied up and gagged while Bara Kakka tries strangling Pink.

Bara Kakka puts up a sign for Pink's execution as she is tied and over a boiling pot. The others show up and find Pink's aunt, untying her quickly. Baa Kakka tests to see if the water is hot with his finger when Pink's aunt and the Ohrangers show up, the former throwing cold water and complaining Bara Kakka has no heart unlike her niece. Insert the good old days being about kindness here. Bara Kakka apologizes and sets Pink free as old timey music plays. Acha and Kocha show up with barlos to scold Bara Kakka for his idiocy and he ditches his disguise soon after. The Ohrangers transform and fight the barlos with Pink's aunt rooting her on. Bara Kakka is assaulted before Red use the Giant Roller on him. Acha throws Kocha to make him big followed by the choriki mobiles combining to form OR. Red has RP show up to for a two against one in the city. That is one flimsy cutlass. RP punches the tar out of Bara Kakka with OR using Pink's helmet soon after. OR and RP combine to former Buster OR to use the Big Cannon Burst, blowing Bara Kakka up. The kids are back to normal and a picture show occurs and.... That is it. Next episode shows a machine beast eating sushi and the premier of the Ole Cannon.

Bara Kakka: Powers include a human disguise, a pocket dimension formed from a retro top and card, a cutlass, mind control candy, eye energy blasts, a chain in the left wrist, and an iron maiden in the torso armed with lasers
=================================================
Oh hey we get ranger balance! Mostly, Yellow only got one centric episode thus far while everyone else seems fair with Red getting a bit much; considering we are half way through that is a bit worrisome. I like how they mix up between monsters that start out as kaijin while others show up kaiju sized. The insanity of the Baranoia family keeps things interesting as they keep contradicting themselves while having so much power at their command. In fact I think I am getting a theme here where life grows and ages naturally which is good while machines are stagnant and age very poorly, relying so much on external structure that they have no internal structure. In fact we see these supposedly heartless machines act more human, possibly because they frequently adapt to human methods of fighting, thus sacrificing what is considered sacred to them. Plus it makes nice comedy. Episode 15 added the fact that not all barlos are perfect and defects do come up which does address the inconsistency complaint I made last time with them (although a kid managing to trip one was very dumb). Speaking of comedy, man the recent episodes have been shoe horning it in, so much so you can tell they were trying to do throwbacks to the whackier soda pop sentai series. OR and RP I can now safely say have proven themselves in the sentai pantheon of mecha with the former as the classic bulky main robot while the latter represents the erratic secondary robot all with a classy combined form. I have to be honest guys, for an anniversary series it hits many strides very well and it does a great job of honoring the entries that came before it. To top it off while standard Toei editing shows up once in a while, it has been severely toned down with very nice cinematography and camera work to boot. Next time we will have the upgraded team finisher, the sixth ranger, the a second main robot much like GouRyuJin, KibaDaiOh, and Kakure Daishogun before him and the first second secondary mecha- wait what?

So yes fellow toku fans, this may end up being in my top 3 depending on where it goes, maybe even so far as to dethrone Changeman as the best in the franchise (as unlikely as hell that would be).

Boom Studios will be launching Power Rangers comics! In relation here is part 5!

Episode 25:

A family celebrates a dad's birthday. The son opens the door as the doorbell rings and it turns out to be Bara Hungry. He enters the house and starts eating sushi. He demands more sushi and more is brought to him. For some reason Christmas music is playing during this and Bara Hungry goes after the table next. The daughter tries calling the police, but he eats that too. The father gives Bara Hungry a bottle of sake. followed by a dozen more bottles. The TV turns on and he starts dancing as does the family out of terror. After that they try hitting Bara Hungry with objects and that fails as he eats a golf club before passing out. A scientist named Kotaro Henna comes by with a tool kit interested in the robot and tries to cut it open. Whackiness ensues as his tools stop functioning. After that the Ohrangers are called in to deal with him. Miura finds the idea of a machine beast raiding a civilian for food odd. Blue notices something odd with Kotaro since he is covered in mold so they use a vacuum cleaner to help him breathe. Cut to a quarry where Bara Hungry is chained up with some TNT barrels. Acha and Kocha watch, the latter scared while the former activates a remote to reactivate him. Bara Hungry runs off and meets up with the two butlers in a warehouse where he is scolded. Acha reminds him his job is spreading mold spores, not indulge in human hedonism. Kocha comments that his spores spoiling food would leave the humans starving. After that he infects a market place with spores. The Ohrangers talk about this back at base, Yellow noting her own cake was affected by the spores.

The Ohrangers try asking the son from earlier about what happened, but he does not remember because his food is all moldy and is hungry. Eventually he realized that Bara Hungry likes dancing. The Ohrangers decide to hold a festival yelling Wasshoi while the scientist from earlier gets molded again because he wants to open him up. Bara Hungry gets a bunch of barlos to have a wasshoi festival dance (I do not know what this is called, looks like chair carrying). Some pushing ensues before the Ohrangers transform and whoop the barlos. Bara Hungry faces off against the Ohrangers rather easily as you can tell the sky is grayer than normal in a tokusatsu. Miura tells them now is time for the festival plan so they all stop and play music so Bara Hungry and his squad can dance. Bara Hungry gets a bunch of sake from a barrel which quickly makes him drunk. Miura tells them to use the Ole Bazooka- Wait, they did not mention that previously! No build up even! An energy shot is fired, Acha throws Kocha, Bara Hungry grows, the choriki mobiles are summoned, and OR is formed via them combining. Acha tells him to use mold spores which manage to solidify OR. Bara Hungry tries munching on OR before Miura distracts him with drums again. Red calls for RP and gets in it, using the star blasts to free OR before combining into Buster OP and finishing Bara Hungry off with the Big Cannon Burst- Wait, he did not explode? He just turned into a soul and went to Heaven? The episode ends with a wasshoi festival and Acha being chased by Kotaro wearing Shrek ears. Next episode shows two children in old armor.

Bara Hungry: Powers include strong jaws, super speed, pelvis mold, and an energy absorbing through the mouth

Episode 26:

In what I am assuming space we see a golden pyramid. In it are two children in suspended animation and a toy lizard. The computer says they will be entering a new dimension soon and end up in the Milky Way Galaxy. At the base Miura spots a pyramid with the Riki Mark on it. During this, a dimensional disturbance is detected ten thousand kilometers above Earth with the mysterious pyramid quickly landing in Tokyo. A beam is emitted from the top and the kids wake up. Miura informs the team of the Riki mark on the computer. The ancient people of Pangea lived in peace with human-like creatures called the Dorin who were seen as god messengers in the polytheist sense. Miura thinks these pre-ancient humans made the machine beasts who were made for working before rebelling against humans. With that they chose one of the last of the dorins and Riki and placed them in a space ship to a timeless dimension (not how that works, but okay). Now their task is finding the space ship. The kids Riki and Dorin are in awe at the new Earth they must protect from the Baranoia. Dorin gives him a scepter called the King Stick before going out. Riki begins waltzing aroun a theme park which spooks him. He is suddenly met by men in trench coats and pale faces that move around creepily. Their heads retract into their bodies before revealing to be barlos which Riki deals with. He concludes Wrath is behind this. Meanwhile, Acha has the barlos tend to some monsters while Wrath does around a butterfly habitat to look for a person named Kerith. She shows up and is a human with a whip. Wrath demands revenge from Riki after six hundred million years.

The Ohranges head out on their jetter machines when takonpas show up. They follow the fighters before encountering the pyramid ship. Dorin walks off because her pet lizard, Paku escaped. Riki looks around the city before Red and Green spot him on a boat. He disappears soon after, but quickly attacks. They try talking him down as barlos attack and they transform. Wrath shows up demanding to repay his debt as he fires staff bolts at them before they realize he was a hologram. The grunt whomping continues while Blue, Yellow, and Pink track Dorin trying to find Paku in a pond. She manages to retrieve him before another assault, this time by Kerith. The others help Dorin out while Kerith sicks a squad of wild barlos on them. Her energy whip stuns them which Riki detects and runs after her. The others finally bother to transform and slay the mooks before a monster from the cages earlier named Bara Goblin is summoned. Blue, Yellow, and Pink get their rectums handed to them as Bara Golbin proves too strong. During this Red and Green follow Riki through the takonpa assault. Meanwhile, Wrath explains that he was the sole surviving machine from the war six hundred million years ago and created everyone on planet Baranoia to form the empire. Camera Trick from the movie is sent out while Bara Goblin continues his onslaught. Kerith comments that Dorin will be dying there while she yells to Riki for help as he, Red, and Green are sent down a hill. Next episode shows Riki turning into King and the premier of King Pyramider.

Bara Golbin: Powers include flight, sharp claws, head horn energy bolts called the Goblin Beam, and mouth fire balls called the Goblin Bomber

Episode 27:

After a recap of last episode we see Camera Trick recording the fight with Bara Goblin who lays waste to Blue, Yellow, and Pink. Dorin is nabbed before Riki uses super speed to save her. Riki gives Kerith a talking to followed by Wrath. After that je uses his king brace to become King. Buldont notes he looks like an Ohranger. King jumps down to face the barlos with sheer martial arts and very nice wire work, like Dynaman levels of "wow they put effort into this". He uses the King Staff as a weapon to aid his super speed. Bara Goblin assault him and the King Stick fires energy flashes to tun him. Acha throws Kocha to make him a giant which King thinks is new. Red tells him not to worry as they summon the choriki mobiles to form OR. Colossus against colossus, Bara Goblin uses his claws furiously, but the SC Sword matches him blow for blow. RP is sent out to help and uses the Punch Gatling. This does little as Bara Goblin fire ball spams. King decides to bring out his own power as the sky grows dark and the pyramid ship is teleported in, becoming much larger than previously. Hysteria nearly faints from seeing this.

King says his ship is really the ultimate fortress, King Pyramider. He energy trails in and rolls it like a tank toward the machine beast. The fire balls are useless as King Lyramider uses the Super Burning Wave, a laser beam from the top that emits a ton of lightning, destroying Bara Goblin. Riki and Dorin reunite and he thanks the Ohrangers. Kerith says King is over confident before revealing her true form. Hysteria uses a console to make her grow from afar. She captures King and Paku before leaving an explosive electric cloth. At the butterfly exhibit, Kerith taunts Riki as he is passed out- Screw it I will call him King from now on. Wrath tells Kerith she did well as he proclaims King will be used to finish the Ohrangers for good. None of them are aware Paku is watching. At the base Pink tries cheering Dorin up, but that fails. That night we see a random girl walking around by herself. She is being followed by a figure that resembling King nabs her and Pink informs the others of a machine beast appearance nearby. They head out as the next day we see the machine beast attacking another small girl. The Ohrangers fight the machine beast which turns into King. Also it is named Bara King. Kerith shows up to make things worse by stating the machine beast really is King, just instinct left though. She uses her energy whip to taunt them before Bara King fights them. Before long they teleport off and Dorin is in disarray as she runs out of the base and into the woods. Next episode shows King returning to normal and King Pyramider's robot form.

Episode 28:

After a recap of last episode we see the base analyzing King and Bara King, Yellow saying their is no hard proof although their movements are similar. Miura says to destroy the machine beast due to kidnappings. Cut to Dorin looking at her reflection at a pond, Red and Yellow try to comfort her. She says King is still himself and alive. After that we see a cave with bones that King walks around in as his human self. Suddenly animals show up around Dorin because why not? Yellow thinks she is communicating with them. After that we see the kidnapped girls in a cage around othe ranimals in a zoo, Buldont says they will combine them with various animals. They need six and are one short- I just realized, what the hell will this accomplish? Chaos? Takonpas attack civilians and the Ohrangers fight them because GoGoV is not around. Red and Yellow protect Dorin from the mooks as she hears King's voice and runs off. Paku tries waking King up and succeeds, allowing him to remember what happened last episode. Dorin is attacked by Bara King commanded by Kerith. Birds appear to attack them, especially a condor. The Ohrangers spot the flock and head toward it.

The condor is taken down by Bara King. The Ohrangers arrive, Pink handling Kerith before the latter transforms and grows. The choriki mobiles are called in to form OR. Kerith throws a miniature cage which forms into a big one armed with electricity. After that Bara King is sent after Dorin. Meanwhile, Paku leads King to a way out of the cave which means diving into a chasm. Right before Bara King can strike the ground opens up and King jumps out of it. The Ohrangers see this while King protects Dorin with martial arts and transforms. Bara King gets beaten quite hard as the King Victory Flash stuns him, but Acha and Kocha use their classic growing method to make him big. Bara King aims for him and King summons King Pyramider. The beam on its top dissipates the cage and Red heads down to free the little girls in the zoo cage via laying the smack down on barlos. The cage is busted open and RP is summoned to make a two against two kaiju fight. OR does a nifty flying kick and after that the Riki mark appears on everyone's consoles. The three heroic robots have the insignias combine and Miura notes that they can combine into a mobile fortress so he tells them to combine. King Pyramider turns into a carrier for the choriki mobiles and RP followed by it firing all their guns at Bara King to destroy him. After that King Pyramider reveals its robot self, the choriki mobiles enter it, and RP is placed on top so they can fire the Super Legend Beam which is basically choriki energy beam spamming from all over the body. After that Dorin pets a rabbit with Paku watching, making the Ohrangers go "d'awe" expression wise. They welcome King into their squad, but he says he is a knight that only follows Dorin's orders. The episode ends with Dorin having King go after the rabbit. Next episode shows a bunch of dancing and Acha watching TV screens.

Kerith: Powers include an energy whip, mammary gland beams, an abdomen entrapping sheet that emits electricity and explode, and teleportation
Bara King: Powers include a staff that fires energy balls and teleportation

Episode 29:

Oh hey, dance music. Green cooks with some woman and her son at their apartment. Green makes unflattering remarks about the mom and preps lunch, I assume fried fish- Wait, that wasn't a mom, it is Yellow! Freaking hair changing. The boy, Masao mentions he got a perfect score on his last test thanks to a learning center called Achacha School. Yellow takes Masao there- Oh hey, it is Kotaro from ep 25! He is apparently a dance instructor too. The dance song plays which is about Baranoia which Yellow finds weird instead of alarming and even dances a little. Yellow tells Masao she has an emergancy call and sends him home while she sneaks in the school. She spies on Kotaro trying to pick apart Acha. Yellow walks in and gets bit by a robotic spider which freaks Kotaro out. Said spider grows to reveal his true form of Bara Tarantula. Yellow transforms after Kotaro flees in fear.Music plays and Yellow dances against her will. This allows Bara Tarantula to throw her out the window where the others wait to ambush him. Fighting breaks out with the machine beast getting shot with king blasters, but manages to escape. At the base everyone notices a mark on Yellow's neck and Miura pulls it out. It turns out to be a control device which explains the forced dancing. Also a pun on the southern Italian dance Tartella. Red thinks the kids might be controlled too. On the Moon, Wrath is disappointed with Acha and Kocha's plan with the former saying Bara Tarantula's control is expanding. Buldont points out humans just want good grades. The Ohrangers try shutting the school down, but one of the teachers throws a fits over it because previous Masao was doing bad in school. Sounds like a Florida teacher alright.

School is in and no kid is interested (shocker) while the Ohrangers spy on them in a surveillance van. A test is occurring with Masao not even picking his pen up. Bara Tarantula has a robot minion spy on the boy too with Acha and Kocha saying to help him- Wait, why? Oh yeah, controlling children and hmans as slaves motive. Masao cheats thanks to Bara Tarantula's minion and the Ohrangers catch on, exiting their van and tracking a signal in the school. The chasing goes on for a while until Red, Green, and Yellow spot Acha and Kocha. Bara Tarantula attacks, neat the camera was from his perspective a bit. The fight heads outside where Blue and Pink are, all five of them engaging in combat upon transforming and posing. Bara Tarantula incapacitates Blue and Pink with his minions followed by Yellow dueling him. King shows up to transform and help out. One King Stick to the face allows Blue and Pink to fight again. The Ole Bazooka is used to take Bara Tarantula down, but Acha throws Kocha to make him big followed by the choriki mobiles being summoned to form OR. An electric net takes down OR followed by PR after he is summoned King summons King Pyramider or KP as I will nickname it from now on to save on time. The tip beam disintegrates the electric nets and the three robots combine, allowing the Super Legend Beam to blow Bara Tarantula to pieces. The episode ends with the kids playing basketball instead of a "do not cheat" moral and Kotaro being a goof until Red pulls the control device out of his neck- Oh hey, Shrek ears again. Next episode shows the Ohrangers being sleepy save for King.

Bara Tarantula: Powers include a robot spider form, a mouth stinger with control devices, wall crawling, electric spider minions from the mouth, leg energy beams, a mouth electric net, and eye energy bolts

Episode 30:

On the Moon we see the royals sleeping with Acha and Kocha worried. Wrath wakes up saying machines to not nap when they notice Bara Snooska who manages to make barlos fall asleep. Wrath scholds the machine beast for delay and demands he be sent to death, but Hysteria proposes sending him to Earth since humans would stand less of a chance. Bara Snooska cheers before cutting to the thunderwings taking to the air. A takonpa escorts Bara Snooska and his hypnotic waves make the Ohrangers tired although Red gets a shot in and takes the fighter down. After that the Ohrangers fight Acha and a squad of barlos at a river. Bara Snooska uses his hypnotic waves to make both sides sleepy. Acha then fires a gun at them, but King stops this and kicks the gun out of his hands. King then tells Bara Snooska to stop making the music and the two fight. One King Victory Flash blows Bara Snooska to pieces.Wrath blames Acha once he gets back to the Moon before King is blamed. At the base the Ohrangers bring up King not being effected, Miura suggesting his six hundred million year trip affected his consistution. During this Kotaro finds Bara Snooska and puts him back together unaware Acha and Kocha are watching. Soon Bara Snooska is repaired and made to look sillier which causes Kotaro to take a nap. Acha leads Bara Snooska to town, after some comedy with his wind up pin everyone falls asleep which causes car accidents. Green and Yellow notice this before spotting him and getting tired. At the base Pink falls asleep as well, Red thinking the waves traveled through the headphones. Wrath thinks the wind up power is dumb.

Acha repairs Bara Snooska in a van the Ohrangers track to a parking lot. Bara Snooska powered up with Acha and Kocha controlling him with wires. His head speaking makes the Ohrangers dizzy and lathargic. King shows up to kick him before transforming. Acha says he will be sleeping this time and- Oh wow it works this time. Miura tells him to fight it and starts getting sleepy before taking his headphones off. The hypnotic waves start causing townspeople nearby to sleep to the point of causing trains and planes to stop. Dorin and Paku head out, the latter jumping toward Bara Snooska and biting his wire connection to the amplifier in half. The Ohrangers are back to normal and Acha panics before people start waking up to the point of stock footage trains and planes working again. Barlos get taken down before Bara Snooska attacks. The Ole Bazooka is brought out and fired, taking him down until Acha and Kocha make him a giant. The Ohrangers summon the choriki mobiles to form OR and RP. The SC Sword cuts a bit and the Punch Gatling fires with KP being summoned soon after so the battle formation robot form can be used, terminating him with the Super Legend Beam. Wrath sleeps and Hysteria panics like her namesake. The Ohrangers notice the pre-ancient kids taking a nape in a tree and decide to leave them alone. The Turbornager movie has been reviewed! Take a look back at page 21 for details as here we head into part 6!

Episode 31:

Fauzipper is reconstructed from liquid metal to become Bara Fauzipper. Hysteria did this to teach the humans a lesson and Bara Fauzipper turns into a repairman. Cut to some woman in her house complaining about not eating cake because she wants to lose weight. Her doorbell rings and it is Bara Fauzipper. He unzips, revealing two faucets on his torso. He changes the faucet of her sink and her water turns drink, saying his Moon Rainbow will help her lose weight. He mentions a bunch of food- Wait, how does roasted chicken make you fat? Fried yes, but roasted? He also gives her a silver suit, probably the same one Burt used in Tremos 5. After that we see Pink jogging and stopping to drink from a fountain when Bara Fauzipper attacks. The others are sent out to save her and make it just in time. However, his liquid form proves too much for him when Acha shows up to tell him to continue the mission so he just rainbow beams the Ohrangers. At the base Blue identifies Bara Fauzipper from the movie while Pink figures out he is made of the same stuff as the new diet drink Moon Rainbow. Yellow tells the men about how great it is. Pink is unsure why they would do this before they are sent out. At the woman's house, her children and husband are introduced to her drink and anti-shrieker suit. Green collects a sample from the water reservoir which turn out to be clean when Red thinks he is going after the pipes. Acha tells Bara Fauzipper where to aim next and goes into a faucet. The Ohrangers see people into heat reflecting suits drinking the diet drink and tell them to stop, but that fails. They find Bara Fauzipper in an apartment as he escapes into the faucet. Miura thinks he is in the city pipe system and that they must drive him out.

Green thinks about leading the pipe flow to one location while diet woman's family pigs out save for her son. They get greedy with food and the next day their town starts stealing a bunch of food. The Ohrangers spot this as the boy tries telling everyone to stop. Hysteria laughs on the Moon as Wrath explains they are losing their consciousness the more they drink. Dorin hears Fauzipper in a faucet with King next to her and so he informs the Ohrangers where he is. Some valves are changed, two sonars is turned on, Fauzipper keeps saying faucet, and soon is trapped. He manages to somehow escape (teleporting?) and meets up with a squad of barlos where the Ohrangers including King attack them. Once the barlos are dealt with, Fauzipper does his assault and his liquid form saves him from their weapons. Red spots a pipe with liquid nitrogen and lead Bara Faucet to it, spelunking from on top of a building and shooting the liquid nitrogen to freeze him. King uses his victory flash before Acha throws Kocha to make him big. The choriki mobiles, RP, and KP are summoned for combat in the city. OR and RP fuse with KP so it can use the Super Legend Beam, destroying Fauzipper. After that the boy leads his family in jogging who are obviously tired and the Ohrangers even meet them while jogging. Next episode shows a school with lots of darkness with Pink trying to survive.

Bara Fauzipper: Powers include a human disguise, turning into liquid metal, a rope, pressurized water from the mouth, a pick ax, and rainbow beams from the body

Episode 32:

This is said to be one of the best episodes not just of the series, but the franchise, so this should be interesting. Pink goes to a school and kicks a ball into an open window where her friend Mayumi is. As Pink goes to pick her up they hear someone yelling at them, saying Mayumi has work to do. Some guy in thick garbs and a butcher knife attacks them until Pink wakes up from her nightmare. She tells Miura about it because she has had the same nightmare again for a while and it worries her. Supposedly Mayumi died in an accident during recess when she was a kid with two other girls going missing. After that Pink goes to the house of Mayumi's mom, both f which admit they cannot accept her death as a flashback occurs of them bike riding. Garb guy from the nightmare follows Pink to her old elementary school. Garb guy suddenly attacks her and knocks her out with electricity. The others show up and garb guy turns into bubbles. At the base Miura discovers that in REM sleep her brainwaves are abnormal. Yellow wonders how to wake her up as we see her nightmare continue with garb guy taking Mayumi. Garb guy taunts Pink, saying her abducted her with other girls- This is ripping off Nightmare on Elm Street. She eventually runs off to hide before attacking. It is here that garb guy reveals he is Bara Nightmare and tries killing her with a butcher knife. Wrath exiled him for defiance while Pink's body levitates as she sleeps. The Ohrangers decide to head to sleep to help her and Miura agrees.

Pink is sent down an elevator and looks around for Mayumi while calling out Bara Nightmare. Flames erupt and Mayumi's backpack is spotted before Pink is sent into the elevator again, no electrified. The others here her and get attacked by electric soccer balls. They find a stairwell under a desk while Pink sees a spinning table suspended on chains which has a skeleton on it followed by more bones around her. Bara Nightmare says they are the bones of the children he killed. After that she opens a door with girls playing basketball with Mayumi joining them. Pink tries rescuing her and Bara Nightmare is shot by Red as the others show up to fight him. After that all five of them wake up and conclude that something is in the school basement. They head out on their jetter machines and find the secret stairwell to find unconscious girls with Mayumi in a separate room. Explosions occur and it turns out to be Bara Nightmare. Fighting ensues complete with illusions, the Ohrangers assault Bara Nightmare with the fight leading outside where he explodes. All the school girls walkout of the school with Mayumi greeting her old friend as well as thank her. Miura even shows Mayumi's mom because the ending is not happy enough. Next episode shows the premier of the blockers and machine beasts being revived.

Episode 33:

Wrath oversees the marching of revived machine beasts- Wait, Bara Drill was never big! Buldont wonders what is going on and Wrath says he rebuilt his beloved machines and powered them up with Earth's magma, making them super machine beasts. Wrath demands no more failures as he wants to dominate the world. A rampage begins in Tokyo with tons of attacking, Bara Drill being first and even the Ohrnagers remembering. That night Wrath appears as a hologram demanding the humans bow before him as he tells them all his machine beasts have been revived before disappearing as we see injured civilians. Bara Saucer appears and flies by. Miura tells them not to be hasty because until they figure out where Wrath is reconstructing them. Green points out they have no idea where their base is and Miura proposes a Trojan Horse tactic, even taking a minute to describe the story- Troy was not a castle. In other words give them a present. Barlos walk around the destroyed city at night as doctors treat an injured child. The humans huddle around as barlos waltz about and eventually hear them. The boy's mom begs to spare them as they point machine guns, but Red shows up to fight them. The humans thank Red who tells them peace will return at dawn. More barlos attack other civilians which are properly countered by the others. They also tell the civilians to have faith until dawn which Kocha overhears. Wrath throws a fit over this before laughing at the nonsense. Hysteria proposes to steal their present that the Ohrangers mention in their speech. At dawn the Ohrangers head to a field where giant colored statues of their face symbols are as they meet up with Miura. Suddenly the super machine beasts show up and open fire- WAIT A SEC HOW DID THEY REVIVE BARA CRUSHER IF THE OHRANGERS TOOK HIS REMAINS!? The Ohrangers burrow underground and head to their respective statues to which the super machine beasts gather around.

The statues are returned to the base and Wrath demands they be destroyed. The statues are revealed to be new mechs called blockers. Red proclaims Wrath's ambitions will go into the toilet as they combat the super machine beasts. Lots of melee fighting here which causes an eruption that causes a massive cave in. Four of them fly out with the blockers following and doing their intros before firing lasers guns. After that melee ensues and the battle is just plain awesome. Everyone fights a monsters (although the women team up on one), weapons are used, and toyetic camp is high. After the fighting and composite shots of flying, the Ohrangers and their blockers head back to base. However, under the volcano Wrath curses the Ohrangers saying he has not lost yet because he does not know what defeat means. Next episode shows Wrath giant sized with a demon sword and the premier of Oh Blocker.

Episode 34:

A red meteor heads for Earth with the base watching and Pink estimating where it will land. It will impact the cavern from last episode as we see it fly by a bunch of campers and a piece of it breaks off. The meteor is revealed to be a giant sword which shocks Hysteria and Buldont. It emits red lightning and we see Wrath giant sized. Wrath proclaims that this unique sword will end the Ohrangers as he calls them out, demanding a fight. Blue agrees, but Red tells him to not provoke him. Blue replies that the blockers are invincible now and heads out on his own- What a numbskull! Wrath trashes him with the dark sword (the preview said demon sword) and we find out here the blockers have the same individual weapons as the Ohrangers themselves. Blue's tonfas get sliced up and the dark sword cuts him up before he heads back to base. Wrath says the sword is composed of space metal formed from the high heat and pressure of the meteor. One of the campers notices the meteorite piece before at the base we see Miura saying they must defeat the sword by using a sword properly, which their blockers cannot do right now. Also a transcendant mind is needed. Miura trains them by making them wield samurai gees and helmets, specifically using katanas to slice samurai helmets. Blue says it is impossible, but Miura tells him to believe in his allies to make it possible. Meanwhile, Wrath attacks a city, cutting things away. The camper from earlier tells Red about the meteor piece over the power brace and promises to bring it over. As he runs through the woods barlos spot him- wait, what were they doing there? Three takonpas attack the Ohrangers on their jetter machines. Buldont says he will destroy them himself for his dad. The Ohrangers fight the grunts while Blue is sent to find the boy, Mikio.

Blue calls for Mikio as he runs around the area, eventually spotting him near a bridge. Barlos attack with machine guns as Mikio gives Blue the space metal, but it falls into the river below. The others show up to help, but Mikio gets upset at losing the space metal. Blue tells them they can still win and he thanks Mikio anyway. After that the Ohrangers slice the samurai helmets just fine. Miura tells them well done while Wrath demands they show themselves. The blockers are sent out and combine into Oh Blocker. Fighting ensues complete with Oh Blocker detaching and reforming. It brings out a pair of swords that cuts the dark sword in half and uses the Twin Blocken Crash which is both swords combining and doing an Obari sword pose. Wrath gets cut in half and explodes. Miura tells them a more violent threat is a approaching as Buldont tells his mom he will avenge his dad. Next episode shows the premier of Bomber The Great.

Bacchus Wrath: Powers include an electric staff, teleportation, thick armor, and a dark sword that can make him grow and emits lightning

Episode 35:

Buldont says the Ohrangers will pay for killing his father, calling for an offensive that involves every missile they have. Missiles launch and Miura comments that they must fight back so they send out OR, PR, and Oh Blocker or OB as I will type from now on. They- Wait, only OB is sent out? And a visor beam stopped all of that!? Suddenly a bomb enters the base on the Moon and turns humanoid. He is revealed to be Bomber The Great- Wait a second, that's Nobuyuki Hiyama! He chains Buldont to a missile that will blow the Ohrangers out and Hysteria freaks out while Bomber laughs. The Ohrangers spot this and cut th missile in half witht he front half crahsing into a family van. The Ohrangers show up to help with a little girl getting her foot caught in it. The warhead might explode and Pink looks at it, seeing a chemical bomb that will detonate in the next hour. Bomber heads down himself, commenting on how he got their weak point. Buldont and Hysteria watch as Bomber says we escaped the Baranoia trying to execute him. Since Wrath died he returned to take his empire and the universe. He goes on the offensive and the Ohrangers transform while dodging Bomber. Bara Mammoth appears with a banner for Bomber with Acha and Kocha on top of him, shocking Hysteria and Buldont. Bara Mammoth is sent to attack the missile while the Ohrangers figure out what to do. The blockers are sent in to fight. Yellow has her blocker carry the van while Pink is inside keepign it still. The men fend off Bara Mammoth, but barely. Bomber tells Hysteria and Buldont to leave, otherwise the bomb will catch them. Pink tries to disarm the warhead during the fighting.

Bara Tusk beats down the men while Yellow tries moving away from the fighting. Bara Mammoth launches the tusk on his left arm which knocks down Yellow and Red prevents the van from falling by catching it. Bomber watches this on the Moon base as Acha says he will be emperor soon. Hysteria tells Buldont they are only using him to destroy the Ohrangers before they execute him. Pink is knocked out while disarming the missile and Red gets beam spammed. He places the van down and fights off Bara Mammoth. Pink soon wakes up and gets her arm bandaged before continuing. Nothing she does is working as Red gets the tar beaten out of him, barely fending Bara Mammoth off. The final minute soon sets in, the last wires to be cut, the final seconds being done, and at the three second mark Pink disarms it and pulls out the detonator on the warhead. The little girl is freed and they escape the van just in time as Red accidentally crushes it. Pink transforms and calls her blocker. The blockers combine into OB with a new insert song playing. Next episode shows a machine beast eating garbage and the premier of Tackle Boy.

Bara Mammoth: Powers include a banner, a forehead beam, and a left arm tusk that can detach and emit electricity

Episode 36:

Some women clean up trash in the street when Bara Skunk shows up saying he will do the cleaning.... So he eats the trash. To be fair most of it is disgarded vegetables. He demands more trash and the women give him more trash to eat which he does so via a mouth beam. Red shows up and Bara Skunk calls himself the more feared in the universe as well as an ally for Bomber. His back emits toxic gas that nullifies Red's suit. Bara Skunk says it reduces objects at the atomic level. Red throws a soccer ball to escape. Buldont and his mom do not like Bara Skunk with Bomber flying in, saying this is battle and that vulgar has no place and that is why they kept losing. Bara Skunk has managed to destroy over a hundred planets with his farting, a suitable method for slaying a pathetic enemy and the barlos seem to agree. Also a message about humans making too much trash. Hysteria assures her son Bomber will only be around temporarily. Cut to Bara Skunk on a rampage, destroying objects everywhere because GoGoV is nowhere to be found. The others show up to fight him with their king sticks. King smashers are used and that fails followed by Skunk messing up his dialogue before Red shows up to attack. The deatmoizing beam is emitted from his mouth, nullifying Red's suit again. Red is chased toward the water and dives in, Bara Skunk even cursing him. The others meet up with him on the docks and think about how too take him down. They spot three kids collecting garbage, one's mom scolds him when there is a machine beast running around when said kids give an environmental speech. Green gets an idea from his.

The Ohrangers help the kids clean up trash around the area with King and Dorin helping out since they were gone the based three episodes. The mom from before gathers some adults to also help them. Bara Skunk shows up to deatomize them when Red emerges from a pile. Bomber shows up to wreck his plan by crashing into him followed by the others transforming. Bomber deflects their lasers while flying and laughs upon crashing, proclaiming he is a professional in combat. King uses the King Tornado which is spinning while encased in energy to return the txoci gas back followed by the King Victory Flash and the Ole Bazooka. Bomber curses them and has Acha throw Kocha to grow Bara Skunk and not fail or else. The blockers are sent out with the gas destroying buildings, leaving no cover for them. Miura says it is Tackle Boy's turn and has it launch. The opening theme plays as a tire transforms into Tackle Boy who is immune to the deatomizing gas and even does an energy spin to deflect it back. Tackle Boy then beats up Bara Skunk like a boxer followed by OB being formed. Tackle Boy becomes a tire once more and is thrown in a bowling attack called the Dynamite Tackle. Remember the Super Dynamite from Dynaman? Charging with heat and ramming? That is Tackle Boy's attack. Acha is chased by Bomber and everyone thanks Tackle Boy. Next episode shows the premier of Gunmajin and Blue in a cage.

Bara Skunk: Powers include trash consumption, deatomizing gas from the back and mouth, and torso beams
=================================================
Would it kill the staff to give Yellow some episodes? Aside from that, King being forgotten when the blockers were introduced, and the sudden appearance of Tackle Boy not being built up, I don't have a problem here! The series still remains consistent and has both very nice homages and unique episodes throughout! The battle with Bacchus Wrath could have been done a tad better and felt too early, but his arrogance made it a fitting end for him and Bomber The Great seems like a decent replacement thus far even though he will not do a lot. As for the new mecha themselves, they are very different from their predecessors to make them stand out and can hold their own well, so I see no issue in that department. Not much else to comment on, I just want to see how this will end. Unless they do something really stupid in the last quarter this will end up being in my top five hands down.
