We are now half way in! Let us march through part 4!

Episode 19:

On the homeworld of Saira Gin, he skips along and sees something that looks like 5R. After a quick flashback of episode 7 he recognizes it, but the red robot turns out to be something completely different. Specifically, this robot is Star Five and if punches him in the nose. Saira Gin decides to fight it, but gets smacked around even harder. The pilot demands to know where the Fivemen are and Saira Gin is grabbed by the nose and says Earth. Star Five flies into space and heads for Earth, specifically downtown Tokyo. Star Five lands on a pair of buildings and demands the Fivemen show themselves. This gets the attention of both sides with Garoa thinking he may be familiar with the pilot's voice. 5R heads out to fight Star Five or S5 as I will call it from now it. 5R drops S5 to a remote mountain area to fight complete with crowd cheering. Punching begins with both seemingly matched while G6 analyzes them. The armor of S5 proves to be very strong while G6 finishes analyzing. He comes to the conclusion that S5 is made of the same parts as 5R. S5 then uses a laser pistol called the Star Gun to stun 5R so the Twin Cannons are unleashed. This is one of the best robot fights in the franchise thus far just so everyone knows. Both eventually fall over, the Fivemen now in civilian outfits barely able to get up. S5 manages to get up and the pilot beams out of the head. The knight-like figure calls himself the howling wolf or something and goes by the name Gunther. Both sides start arguing before Gunther whips out a pole and fires an energy trail at them. They actually hold their own quite well.

A gorlin shows up to steal S5 which angers Gunther. He tries pullvolting toward it, but Billion stops him along with a motley crew. Gunther is brought back to Vulgyre as prisoner where he promptly throws a fit. Medor shows up and is not amused so she zaps Gunther. She demands Gunther work for them if he wants S5 back. Cut to Magma Base where G6 continues his analysis and Red comes to some conclusion. S5 shows up with Gunther demanding a duel while his robot is wielding a spear so the five machines form into 5R. S5's spear easily beats down 5R and even brings out a chain. 5R retaliates with the SD Sword and so weapon fighting commences. Holy frick this battle is great. The spear also has a machine gun in the tip! Red notices a weak spot on the monitor and gives a courageous speech because.... He heads out and Blue becomes the main pilot. Red runs across the spear when 5R holds it still and he enters a door which he opens with.... A disc? Really? And a remote control? Actually it doesn't work and S5 regains use of its spear. The door's console soon opens and he enters the cockpit to wrestle with Gunther. During the fight Red accidentally presses random buttons to make S5 go nuts. This causes it to trip over a cliff.... Where it transforms into Star Carrier which shocks the others. The episode ends with the narrator asking what will happen to Red. Next episode shows Gunther injured and 5R and S5 combining.

Episode 20:

Star Carrier heads for a mountainside and crashes into it, forcing Red and Gunther to fly out and tumble. Star Carrier is stuck on the mountain top while both warriors are barely able to get up. Gunther tries pushing Red away when he mentions they should work togehter. They proceed to do so, but Barru Gin shows up and uses what I can only assume is magic to turn a stick into a snake. He then teleports toward them and turns Gunther's pole into a rope to tie them up with. Garoa shows up and says they are now his prisoner with the Star Carrier as a trohpy. Gunther feels betrayed by this and Garoa replies that the Zone Empire fails to care. Before he can land a blow the others show up to help. Batzers are summoned to make things worse while Medor shows up in the sky above them demanding they carry out their job. Barru Gin beats up the others while Gunther tries to walk up the mountain to no avail. Garoa decides to cut them loose to make things more interesting and by that I mean let Barru Gin handle them. Also he can turn big on his own. Star Carrier is pulled off the mountain top to cause a rockslide and Red takes a hit from a rock meant for Gunter. G6 pilots 5R to distract Barru Gin and flunks. G6 gets out of the cockpit for no reason and the others head in. Gunther tries fleeing, but is injured. Red asks him if he cared about anyone and his parents are brought up, specifically the planet Sidon attack. Red follows this up with a monologue about how caring is great or something.

Barru Gin uses telekinetic bolts from his hands to move 5R around and notices that it and Star Carrier are reacting to each other. Red gets into 5R's cockpit while Gunther walks in and a recording from their late father starts speaking. He says that He build 5R and S5 to protect them in their times of need, but Gunther apparently stole the latter when he was being taken care of before they were born. Both of them have the power to combine to form great power. Barru Gin keeps up his relentless assault, forcing 5R to get up and fight while Red tries heading for Star Carrier. Gunther takes a hit from Barru Gin and tells Red he is sorry for taking it before he forms an energy rope and turns to a stone which flies into space. Red makes a mad dash and makes it to the energy rope which retracts and allows him to enter Star Carrier. It fires a pair of energy cannons from the underside with Red telling the others to combine. 5R flies into the air and Star Carrier combines with it, thus form Super 5R. Barru Gin says he'll still win and extends his forehead horn. After he summons hurricane force winds he gets beaten up and Super 5F uses rocket punches called the Jet Knuckles. The fight ends with Super 5R rushing for him and using the Super Five Beam, an energy charged punch, to blow Barru Gin to pieces. The episode ends with the Fivemen and G6 looking to the sky wondering if Gunther will return. Next episode shows Blue getting knocked out from electric shocks.

Barru Gin: Powers include matter altering magic, teleportation, telekinetic hand bolts, size changing, and summoning hurricane force winds
Gunther: Powers include a bo staff that emits energy trails and high jumping

Episode 21:

Three boys try hurdles in front of everyone, but are too afraid to do so. The kids laugh at them while the coach tells them to try. This ends up with all three flunking badly. Cut to Pink's laptop which slowly types up a message which the Fivemen treat as a joke. Turns out the three kids were the ones who sent the message from what seems to be a Japanese version of Radio Shack. At Vulgyre, Medor demands progress after last episode's fiasco with Garoa stating he will fix this. After that we see Blue doing flips in front of the three boys who want them to teach him so he agrees to do so. They try the jump hurdles, but that fails. Blue tries giving words of confidence during a depressing time for them. Suddenly, Amoebaru Gin appears and attacks Blue. He is of little match for the galactic warrior, but uses his gymnastics to force him into a tree, causing him to break into pieces. The boys are impressed and are determined to continue complete with Blue giving a confidence speech. They decide to move the training to near a lake and Blue paints a face on the hurdle stump. Amoebaru Gin attacks again, this time from the water. Fighting ensues again and Blue cannot transform until the kids leave for some reason. The others find this out via monitor via random camera convenience. Blue eventually resorts to running him over, but he just divides and enters the car to strangle him. He manages to make it out just as the truck goes off a cliff.

The others show up to help Blue while the kids watch him from afar. They see something shiny that turns out to be Amoebaru Gin who shows up near the lake again just as the Fivemen appear. Blue tries telling Black he needs to beat him by himself for the kids. Speaking of whom, they try running away, but one says they should go back to help him out. Doldora and Zaza show up with batzers to surround them. The Fivemen hear their screams with everyone except Blue going after them. They allow the kids to escape by laying the smackdown on the batzers while Blue fights Amoebaru Gin. The kids are soon attacked by a swarm of mooks, eventually allowing them to do the hurdles to escape. Blue, meanwhile, gets thrown off a cliff just as his students show up and say they managed to do hurdles. He tells them to run while he proceeds to knock the wind out of Amoebaru Gin followed by being beaten himself. However, his manly confidence does not make him stop as he punches him Bruce Lee style complete with a big explosion. Doldora sends in a gorlin to absorb what little remains of Amoebaru Gin while Red has Star Carrier launch.... Which takes off like a NASA shuttle from the back of Magma Base. Was a space motif planned for this series? That would explain a little. Anyway, Star Carrier becomes S5 and fights Amoebaru Gin via boxing. He divides up only to get pushed off followed by more punching. S5 uses one Star Gun to use the Hanging Beam and the other to fire a destructive beam to end him. The episode ends with the Fivemen seeing the boys succeed at the hurdles. Next episode shows Pink meeting some scientist guy.

Amoebaru Gin: Powers include a vine form, dual arm vines, swimming, dividing into amoebas, and eye energy balls

Episode 22:

An alarm rings in Vulgyre and the screen shows the Fivemen being attacked by some alien named Queen Killer. Fun fact: The ranger wikia did not link this guy on their Fiveman page, had to add it myself. She is an alien bee humanoid with a rapier that freezes flowers. Pink duels with her because why not. Pretty good fight although Pink soon gets injured in the gut and is forced into a river. Cut to Vulgyre where Queen Killer makes herself known by bashing the villains and telling Medor she can handle the Fivemen herself. She jumps away and Medor tells her minions to stand down, I assume because they don't have to waste resources this time. Meanwhile, the Fivemen try to find Pink and only find her five changer. At some cabin we see Pink waking up in a bed. She spots some scientist working on hot green goo in his lab.... in a cabin in the woods. After it evaporates (I think), Pink talks to the scientists who is played by the same actor that did Mask Red in Maskman. According to the ranger wiki he does the same thing in an episode of Dairanger, so me thinking they resue plots is not just my imagination. After that he bridal carries Pink against her will back to the guest bed and.... They get embarassed about it or something. During this Queen Killer starts killing flowers when she detects something. Pink and the scientist then witness the green goo becoming a jewel (an emerald?) which causes a white flower to bloom. He says that with it he can fix the environment without using Devil Gundam- Okay I'm getting ahead of myself. He tests it on more flowers and that works. This reminds Pink of her parents when Queen Killer barges in. Pink tells her to screw off and eye lasers start flying.

Pursuit heads outside with Queen Killer wanting to slay the scientist because she hates flowers, but he is determined to save the world. Pink soon duels with Queen Killer. The others hear, but are ambushed by Billion and a squad of batzers while on a bridge. Yellow tries running for it only for Zaza to attack her. The four of them transform and use their five blasters while Pink keeps dodging Queen Killer. She is soon pinned to the ground and the scientist demands Pink be let go, but she yells for him to run. Red kicks Queen Killer as the others show up and give Pink her five changer so she can transform. Queen Killer beats the tar out of the Fivemen with her eye lasers. The scientist tells her to stop and his emerald, exposed to sunlight, turns into particles that suddenly revive them. Did not expect that. The fighting continues, this time with the Fivemen at full strength and using a combo lead by Pink. Billion takes pity on her and summons a gorlin, but she begs him to be absorbed. This pretty much confirms why the monsters in this series don't start out big, apparently they lose their consciousness or minds upon being absorbed. Yikes. After that Red calls the five machines to form 5R. Once in combat 5R manages to beat up Queen Killer like a rag doll and ends her via the SD Sword. The episode ends with Pink finding a letter from the scientist that he has left now knowing his experiment works and gives the white flower as a memento. Next episode shows puppet shows on a puppet stage, a baseball bench, and an abandoned bus.

Queen Killer: Powers include a freezing rapier, high jumping, launchable mouth toxic stingers, and eye lasers

Episode 23:

The Fivemen attend a outdoor puppet show featuring puppets called the Five-kun Dolls voiced by kids. The show has to do with a monster lead by Garoa. The Zone Empire finds out via monitors and Garoa throws a fit. Billion offers to slay the kids, but Dongoros says that costs money. Some black hooded figure shows up with doll heads overlapping his own head before we see the Fivemen talking to Black about helping the kids with their puppet show. I seriously don't know why they think he shouldn't be doing this. After that is another puppet show, but the monster puppet is taken by the black hooded figure via telekinesis. This allows him to turn into the galactic warrior Kaijuru Gin. Dongoros shows up to be a dick and state how they will turn their puppet show against them. After that they.... Take the puppets.... Black follows them to a junkyard when the others show up and the villains make a show for themselves complete with the Five-kun Dolls affecting them like voodoo dolls. Dongoros tells Medor how awesome his plan is and she seems somewhat pleased. In fact this is the first time in the whole series she smiles. The voodoo assault continues and Black is disappointed in himself, but Pink gives him some words of encouragement. We see a flashback of when Black was helping the kids form the puppets and that they worked hard on them and stuff. My writing isn't showing this, but I am finding this very funny. Black gets targeted specifically which amuses the other villains to the point of having them laugh out loud.

Black goes back into civilian clothes for some reason and the voodoo effect has worn off. Dongoros is baffled while the others throw the henchmen out of the abandoned bus they were using. The puppet show continues, this time with Kaijuru Gin as the voodoo victim. Black then proceeds to kung fu fight them. Garoa gets affected by the puppetry during an assault, causing the other villains to walk away from him. Black fights the henchmen followed by Kaijuru Gin who holds up a decent fight until Black kicks him toward the quarry. Dongoros throws a fit and the others transform complete with an explosive pose. The women bonk him with their five blasters in sword mode, Red does a slash, and Blue and Black do martial arts. Dongoros gets a blast to the gut and Red has G6 become the Earth Cannon to use of Kaijuru Gin. Dongoros summons a gorlin for absorption while Red calls for Star Carrier to become S5. Also new insert music. S5 makes short work of Kaijuru Gin, but once he fights back with his tail 5R has to be called in to form Super 5R. One Jet Knuckle later Kaijuru Gin is stunned long enough for the Super Five Beam to blow him to pieces. After that the Five-kun Dolls are returned to the kids and that night they magically come to life and form a mystical screen that spies on the Fivemen, even Garoa-kun. Next episode shows shots of animals and ninjas and a duplicate of Yellow.

Kaijuru Gin: exhale gusts, voodoo, mouth flames, and a whip tail

Episode 24:

Batzers train in ninja gear lead by Batzer Gin. One batzer named 339 is the only screw up of the group and gets scolded repeatedly for it. The Fivemen notice nearby and Batzer Gin decides to attack. Once some words are exchanged and Doldora and Zaza show up, 339 tries fighting only to get punched by Yellow. Once the Fivemen transform, Batzer Gin takes them on with only knives and ninja skills. Everyone except 339 manages to teleport away because his smokescreen fails him so Yellow kicks him. He tries running into the ninja training house. This leads him to a cave where the other batzers and villains where they are trying to use a crystal to turn batzers into various animals of the Chinese zodiac. 339 shows up late while Garoa explains his plan to Medor to use animals to infiltrate human facilities for terrorist acts like blowing an oil refinery. However, the first transformation fails for 339 as he becomes only part turtle and the mooks laugh at him. The Fivemen find the chased out 339 and they take pity on him. He also warns them of a sneak attack from other batzers who decide to go for full on melee. 339 is dubbed a traitor and we find out the crab claw sickles these mooks use have a machine gun in them. Yellow saves 339 because he risked his life for them and that touches his heart. The others show up and 339 mentions the animal infiltration plan after crying about how much of a failure he is.

At the cave the villains find out 339 is leading them to their base. A trap is set to trap them ina hall with poison gas followed by random spears from the wall. 339 gets impaled by one and in his dying words tells Yellow he thanks her. He manages to transform into a duplicate of Yellow and somehow get out of the spear (I guess he wasn't dying). He sneaks into the base and gets attacked from all sides with the villains being shocked it was him. The real Yellow jumps in and blasts the animal crystal to pieces. 339 then tells Doldora and Batzer Gin something in something also resembling dying words before he actually dies leaving only his number apron. The Fivemen encounter the villains outside, strike an explosive pose, and fight the ninja batzers. Yellow handles Batzer Gin in a duel through the house complete with a random dummy ninja in the ceiling that spooks her. Once outside they continue to fight with the Five-kun Dolls and Garoa-kun commenting about it in a room via a screen. Batzer Gin is then thrown around and Red sends in G6 as Earth Cannon to blast him. Doldora summons a gorlin to make him big while Red sends in 5R and Star Carrier to become Super 5R. Batzer Gin fights Super 5R to no avail while the puppets still comment- Wait, why does 5R have nunchuku? Well it works followed by the Jet Knuckles and Super Five Beam destroying Batzer Gin. The episode ends with the Fivemen paying their respects to 339 as well as the Five-kun Dolls. Next episode shows some guy running on a beach and a circus.

Batzer Gin: Powers include a whip, twin knives with hilt machine guns, levitation, hand webs, teleportation, and explosive shurikens

Now with that out there here is the weirdness of part 5!

Episode 25:

Billion tells Liogin to attack a mountain town and proceeds to summon what I assume are comets. Cut to a jet where the Fivemen spot some guy flying outside. They think the area is in danger so after their plane lands they head out for a local resort town that happens to be the mountain town. They travel by car to a ferris wheel where they see flying guy who runs off. The Fivemen chase after him only to lose him. Red notices Billion and Liogin and decides to make a scene. Liogin summons a seesaw and uses it to jump toward the Fivemen and nock them over an edge into the ocean. Once on shore he continues his assault by summoning comets on them. Flying guy gets hurt and walks up to Liogin. Apparently the two know each other with Liogin forcing flying guy to the ground. Meanwhile at Vulgyre, Medor tells the villains to get to work as they discuss that Liogin is trying to cause a giant volcanic eruption which will lead to much loss of life and form tsunamis from the earthquakes the volcano will spawn. Also, Twin Towers in the art work. Alien guy gets patched up by the Fivemen and explains in a flashback that Liogin is not evil as they were both originally circus performers for aliens. One day Liogin apparently got angry and didn't want to cotninue the show so he just walked off. The Fivemen agree to help when the volcano begins to shake. Alien guy hears Liogin and runs off.

Alien guy spots Liogin and tries to get him to stop, but he refuses. The Fivemen show up and transform to avoid comets followed by batzers showing up lead by Billion. Liogin soon joins in the fight and manages to slash the Fivemen which the Five-kun Dolls comment on. Alien guy tries to get him to knock it off and go back to the way things were. Another flashback happens, this one about a random show. It touches Liogin's heart complete with heartwarming music, but Billion is having none of that and sends over a gorlin which absorbs Liogin. Upon this he loses his humanity, Billion tells him to go on a rampage, and meteors start going into the volcano. Red has Star Carrier launch to become S5. They try stopping Liogin, but Medor fires comets from her eyes to further the volcano process. Suddenly- BWAHAHAHAHA 5R IS DRESSED LIKE A CLOWN! Alien guy is lead in by Arthur and starts acting like a clown which even the Five-kun Dolls like. Liogin gets heart touched again which causes the gorlin to release him. The Hanging Beam and Star Gun are used to terminate the gorlin while Medor tries to make the volcano more active, but Liogin forms a rainbow beam to stop it from continuing. Alien guy takes his face makeup off and leaves with Liogin to the Ginga Circus after thanking the Fivemen. Next episode shows Garoa-kun showing up, the Fivemen at an outdoor restaurant, and Garoa as a monster's assistant.

Liogin: Powers include comet summoning, seesaw summoning, rainbow beam erecting, and flight

Episode 26:

A helicopter piloted by Garoa lands near the other villains in a field. For some reason the batzers have a compass. He comes out of it with Kogane Gin and- Apparently the compass was really a timer that indicated that it is Topsy-Turvy Day, meaning authority is temporarily reversed. Even Medor has a hard time believing this, but, due to their recent failures accepts it anyway. Cut to the Fivemen playing tennis, gthe villains spy on them playing the sport with Garoa taking orders from Dongoros to disguise himself as a waiter. Doldora thinks he's snazy and they reveal the food he is serving with petrify them. Also Kogane Gin eats a gold bar because why not? A fake caterpilar freaks Garoa out and a random dog eats food he was serving, petrifying him. Garoa ditches his disguise and the villains scold him for being stupid. Batzers show up to attack the Fivemen who state they are in charge now. Garoa is forced to attack them and they transform. He soon begs Kogane Gin to help him fight so he does so. Kogane Gin accidentally kills the batzer with the timer and Garoa snicker sbefore the fight continues. Once the Five0kun Dolls cheer them on we see the Fivemen regroup under the surface of the ocean and use their five blasters to blast Kogane Gin's gold bars into the water. Once he and Garoa retreat, Pink thinks they should follow and Red agrees. After that we see Kogane Gin in a cart Garoa is moving when it gets stuck in a crack in the desert. Hijinks ensue unfitting for alien warriors.

Garoa stops at a hotel and Kogane Gin complains. Garoa throws a fit via cutting a car with his sword. The two then use said car and drive around until they spot the Fivemen. After that some fighting with cars ensues and it is quite nifty, even the Five-kun Dolls think so aside from Garoa-kun. Garoa manages to tear the Fivemen's car apart and sends it crashing which scares the dolls. Fortunately they come out of flaming wreckage okay which Garoa-kun calls bullcrap on. Garoa and Kogane Gin make it to what I assume is an abandoned train museum. The Fivemen take a train ride while both villains are in a tunnel and upon catching up nearly run them over and by nearly I mean they do. Not their fault, the conductor was the driver. They get off to find the villains while more hiinks with them occurs. The two soon find a bunch of golden bars in a cage and proceed to steal them when the Fivemen show up. None of them are aware the batzers set off some dynamite nearby to cave them in. The ones that pressed the detonators come out boasting about their new victory while their former leaders bow before them. However, the Fivemen show up on the train car they rode with the Five-kun Dolls cheering before they jump into combat. The villains barely put up a fight while Garoa and Kogane Gin come out of the cave with the former summoning a gorlin to make the latter a giant. The batzers worry about their punishment while Red summons S5 to do combat. Before long Kogane Gin's arsenal is redirected back at him via hand waving and the Hanging Beam and Star Gun from S5 finishes him off. The episode ends with the Fivemen leaving the area via plane ride from the beginning of the previous episode. Next episode shows a brown mantis stalking Red and a foggy dimension.

Kogane Gin: Powers include hot gold spewing from the mouth and arm paper restraints

Episode 27:

Doldora brings a box to show the villains which has a brown mantis inside that becomes Kamakiria Gin. He acts bossy around the other villains to Doldora's amusement. Billion attacks him for being a smart alick. Garoa just wants him to end the Fivemen while Doldora explains that Kamakiria Gin will assassinate them. Cut to Red showing a kid how to catch bugs with a net because heartwarmingness. Kamakiria Gin stalks them in mantis form while the kid brings up the pollution crisis, hoping the insects will be able to survive. At Magma Base the Fivemen discuss that briefly and head to bed. Kamakiria Gin crawls up on Red's bed to induce a nightmare of him in a graveyard of crosses with his name on them. A ghost tries taking him in the dream and Kamakiria Gin enters the dream to fight him Freddy Krueger style. Red finds himself unable to transform and can get hurt. He is soon restrained to a cross that falls over. Kamakiria Gin then proceeds to stomp on him like a maniac until the others wake him up from his nightmare. The others then brush it off unaware Kamakiria Gin somehow got out the window and Red still has the cut from the nightmare. The next day the Fivemen also go bug hunting. Kamakiria Gin uses this moment to catch Yellow dozing off and attack her in her dream. She imagines herself in a tilt-a-whirl with milkshakes and a clown entertaining her. Suddenly, the clown becomes Kamakiria Gin and starts attacking her by sending her on the tracks of a rollercoster. She is soon restrained by roses and struck with the others noticing before Red wakes her up and show her his cut. Panic begins and the villains think their plan is made of epic win. Medor tells them to not doze off, probably.

At Magma Base G6 gives everyone coffee while they think of how to beat him. Blue nearly goes to sleep and during a jog Doldora sends some batzers on them via grenade throwing- wow those grenades are weak as hell. They transform and are barely able to put up a proper fight what with the lack of sleep and all while Doldora laughs at them followed by a grenade chuck from her too. The Fivemen barely manage to escape and the Five-kun Dolls cheer them on while Kamakiria Gin has them all in one dream. He laughs a bit before using everything on them like claws and tentacles. The bug catcher boy from earlier sees them napping and sees Kamakiria Gin in mantis form. Since he isn't moving he pokes it with a stick which for some reason takes nearly a minute to affect him. The boy throws it to the ground and he turns back to normal, scolding the kid. The Fivemen wake up and Kamakiria Gin tries escaping, but Black catches him with the men scolding him. Transforming takes place once again with an explosive pose, mooks going down, and Five-kun Doll cheering. Red gives a speech about how wrong attacking during sleep is before an assault is executed followed by G6 becoming the Earth Cannon to fire on him. Doldora calls for a gorlin to save him and make him big while Red brings in Star Carrier to become S5. Also I just noticed the Fivemen become light streams like the Livemen to get into the mecha, whoops. Anyway, giants go a clashing, S5 bringing out a shield and punching Kamakiria Gin before ending him via Hanging Beam and Star Gun. The episode ends with the bug catcher boy being thanked for him saving the Fivemen- wait a sec is that an Atlanta Braves hat? HOLY FRICK IT IS! AMERICAN SPORTS CONFIRMED FOR FANS IN JAPAN IN 1990! Next episode shows the introduction of a guy in white armor leading the return of the Gingamen.

Kamakiria Gin: Powers include a mantis form and dream manipulation

Episode 28:

A black satellite dish roams through space heading for Earth. It flies above Tokyo singing some radio song with the civilians watching. The Fiveen show up at the dish uses a tractor beam to send down the Gingamen and a guy in white armor named Chevalier. He and the Gingamen dance and lipsync to the music while Yellow and Pink find him dreamy. Seriously. After that he throws razor cards at the men, cutting their faces. Chevalier introduces himself through song because he is that smug followed by Kouro Gin introducing himself (spiffy top hat). Someone has been watching 40s musicals. Anyway, Chevalier is a member of the Zone Empire that was enjoying retirement until he found out his successor, Garoa, has not been doing well conquering Earth. After that his singing causes the men pain, forcing them to transform. Kouro Gin uses his violin for telekinesis that the Gingamen sing to. Billion finds this impressive as the villains watch on a screen with Doldora and Zaza liking Chevalier too. Garoa demands to know why his former boss came back. Kouro Gun then grows big because he can. Chevalier tells Medor he is trying to get the humans under the control via worshipping him and she seems to like the idea, so much so she sheds a tear which stuns the other underlings. Garoa expresses jealousy while she smiles. More singing occurs that annoys the men as opposed to the women who fall in love with him. Red sends in Star Carrier to form S5. Red gives a quick speech and Chevalier doesn't treat him serial enough. Kouro Gin summons dust and throws his hat while the Five-kun Dolls cheer them on. 5R is flown in to help them. The telekinetic violin throws rocks just as 5R lands and S5 is knocked over. For those wondering, G6 is piloting 5R. The women finally snap out of it. S5's control console starts smoking and Chevalier laughs at them before thinking of his next move. He then commands Kouro Gin to charge at 5R, making G6 the only one able to fight him. Kouro Gin fights him with a scythe-like cane.

The Five-kun Dolls become worried about the Fivemen and cheer them on. Pink uses the computer to find the problem. Meanwhile, Kouro Gin beats up 5R quite easily. Pink says they can use Star Carrier and Red has an idea of using it. He heads out to distract Kouro Gin who fires at him via cane machine gun. Red makes it to 5R and pilots it while Blue gets S5 up and running. Chevalier is unamused and keeps singing complete with the Gingamen as back up singers. The Fivemen are hesitant for a bit until Yellow encourages them to sing the opening theme, even G6 joins in. Gotta love the camp this series is sending out. The singing contest goes on until Kouro Gin busts a violin string. They transform and the actual theme song plays, allowing S5 to become Star Carrier and 5R to stand on it with the SD Sword out. The Gingamen are startled before 5R jumps down and uses the SD Sword to destroy Kouro Gin. Chevalier and his motley crew head off in his giant black dish while the Five-kun Dolls act happy. Next episode shows two galactic warriors becoming one, bubbles causing levitation, and Super 5R combining with Magma Base to become Max Magma.

Kouro Gin: Powers include a telekinetic violin, size changing, dust summoning, a razor top hat, a scythe cane with a machine gun in the tip, and high jumping

Episode 29:

Black and Yellow go on a motorcycle when Kani Gin attacks with bubbles that causes them to levitate. Chevalier shows up to say how screwed they are just as the others show up to get bubble levitation too. This reminds me of a Mighty Morphin episode I vaguely remember as a kid where the Yellow and Green rangers have to save the other four from a similar trap, I think the monster was a rat. Anyone know what monster I am thinking of? Anyway, the Fivemen are trapped in the air before transforming and Blue throws his frisbee at Kani Gin to free themselves. The Gingamen jump in a flunk hard at combat. Suddenly, Ari Gin shows up from underground and sprays acid around to fight Kani Gin. A saucer shows up to take both galactic warriors away which Chevalier throws a fit over. At Vulgyre, Ari Gin shows Kani Gin a new not-gene synthesizer from Flashman while Chevalier slowly walks in demanding to know what the hell is going on. He and Garoa look at each other seriously while Doldora gives a lovey dovey face. Chevalier throws a card and Garoa cuts it in half before saying he has things under control. He demands both months be placed into the machine which causes them to become the first combined galactic warrior: Kaniari Gin. Garoa laughs sinisterly and Chevalier is unimpressed- I just realized those cards are tarot cards. Kaniari Gin uses acidic bubbles to mess with Magma Base. He shows up to fight the Fivemen in their own home and considering this is the mid point of the series that is impressive. Even they find this combined abomination abhoring as it melts the area away. Fighting breaks out with the Fivemen unable to handle Kaniari Gin. Red releases hot steam that sends him through a wall and outside the base where Dongoros appears and summons a gorlin to make him big. 5R comes out of Magma Base to fight and quickly brings out the SD Sword. However, Kaniari Gin manages to damage the sword while Dongoros and a few batzers raid the Magma Base and destroy consoles. One of which prevents Star Carrier from going off. Garoa calls for Medor to demand she take him serious and she is amused.

G6 confronts Dongoros and attacks him with eye flashes only for him to use his abacus which had a machine gun in it. The Five-kun Dolls worry and Blue takes the controls of 5R while Red heads out on his Hawk Arrow to save G6. He makes his way into Magma Base and beats up the batzers and Dongoros. He opes a vault which allows G6 to run while he fights Doldora and Zaza. G6 takes off in Star Carrier as Red gets tossed around, but he manages to activate a trap door to stop them. Red releases Star Carrier's restrains so it can take off and Super 5R can be formed. The Super Five Beam is attempted, but Kaniari Gin is saved via burrowing and uses acid bubbles. Billion confronts Red and tries cutting him down. During this, Super 5R barely holds its own against Kaniari Gin. Red manages to use martial arts on Billion before using hot steam on him too, sending him out of the base. Red makes it to a console where he fires a bunch of cannons and lasers at Kaniari Gin. After that the base starts flying upward and transforms into a giant robot named Max Magma. Not sure why the head reminds me of Daimos, but whatever. All guns and blazing like the Judas Priest song. So much fire power is executed that Kaniari Gin blows up from it all. Garoa becomes angry and a card slices his face while Chevalier takes to his black dish and heads for space. Next episode shows Chevalier back on Earth, a bunch of round bombs, and a black gorlin.

Kani Gin: Powers include levitating bubbles and a face machine gun
Ari Gin: Power include burrowing, mouth acid spray, and high jumping
Kaniari Gin: Powers include teleportation, acid bubbles, mouth acid spray, a left arm machine gun, and burrowing

Episode 30:

The Fivemen play with some kids playing dodge ball complete with high jumping athletecism. Blue manages to do Zubat levels of impossible trickery because all others are only second best. The kids want to know how he does it and decides to do it because why not. In the city we see a soccer ball that explodes and multiplies into more soccer balls which causes explosions all around the city. The Fivemen get caught in the explosions and by the end they observe how desolate the area has become. Chevalier and the Gingamen show up where he reveals that the "soccer balls" were really his own unique bombs. He also does a magician trick were one ball becomes several during hand movements to illustrate his point. Ikatama Gin shows up from the rubble which for some reason shocks the other villains.Blue jumps in only to get bombed followed by the others. G6 heads in to turn into the Earth Cannon and a shot is fired at him, but he quickly regenerates. Chevalier says they are boned before Ikatama Gin spews explosive ink. At Vulgyre Chevalier scares the others with a fake bomb before Medor shows up and he explains his chaos inducing plan of ball bombs. Dongoros says it is super expensive and demands he not do it. Chevalier just acts smug and decides to go through with it and Medor likes the enthusiasm. Chevalier walks off just as Garoa throws a fit. At Magma Base the Fivemen try to think of a plan with nothing coming to mind when Ikatama Gin starts bomb spreading around town again. Blue faces him alone because he can. This fails and the villains laugh at him. The others see Blue being tormented by the kids playing keep away which makes him dizzy and allowing a shot in that knocks him down. The kids cheer and Blue thanks them because this allows him to dodge from every angle or something.

The city continues with explosions galore until the Fivemen confront Chevalier and his crew. He acts smug and all before sicking the Gingamen on them. After they fall the Fivemen use their new Super Five Ball which is basically a dodge ball version of the Gorenger Storm. Ikatama Gin gets dizzy and Blue pushes it into him which stuns him. Chevalier sends in a gorlin to absorb him while Red calls for Star Carrier to become S5. Giant fighting occurs with Ikatama Gin barely able to hold his own, but a black gorlin shows up just before the Hanging Beam can be used. Chevalier finds the fight amusing as he is controlling black gorlin. At Vulgyre we find out that nobody authorized him using it while S5 gets slugged. The Five-kun Dolls and Garoa-kun argue a bit and G6 in 5R shows up to help by cutting the black gorlin's mace head off its chain. After that we get a giant monster version of dodge ball, awesome. Both bots are damaged, but a quick dodge damages black gorlin. This allows the tide to turn and make Ikatama Gin dizzy. Upon being hit Ikatama Gin explodes and Chevalier jumps on black gorlin before retreating. The episode ends with the Fivemen and Five-kun Dolls playing dodge ball. Next episode shows a woman in silver, Yellow hanging in a tree, and a surveillance truck.

Ikatama Gin: Powers include multiplying ball bombs from the left arm, regeneration, and mouth explosive ink
Black Gorlin: Powers include shoulder missiles and a chained mace

Not including episodes 29 and 30 here. I wasn't going to include episode 28, but there isn't much more to talk about and episode 29 is the last time aside from episode 45 we will see regular galactic warriors as monsters of the week. So yeah, ranger balance needs Pink a little more, but otherwise good. The villains are pretty much the same albeit they are giving Garoa some more screen time (which is good). The Five-kun Dolls and Garoa-kun, nowhere near as cancerous as /m/ says they are, if anything they are adorable. I can understand why people would be turned off by them, but to the point of saying this series is one of the worst AND considering they rarely take up more than 30 seconds? I have to disagree. S5 is a worthy secondary mecha and has a better combination with the main mecha than what Liveman and Turboranger had. No joke, this time it actually looks like both robots can combine into each other where as Super LR and Turbo looked more like stacked legos. Not that it makes them bad, just not as well rounded as they could be. As for Chevalier he seems to act like an evil version of Kaiketsu Zubat and I love it, really hoping he remains this awesome to the end. The plots are insanely whacky, yes, even more so than Goggle-V I will admit, but considering all the silliness Super Sentai has had since the beginning I don't mind it. If anything it makes the series more unique and entertaining because you really don't know what to expect and the vast majority of surprises are rather amusing. The only complaint is that Medor slowly went from a monolithic pagan god-like boss to an easily amused person, but considering the other stoic big bads in the past the change up is understanding.

Discotek has licensed the 1976 version of Gaiking for an uncut US release! Speaking of manly tears here is part 6!

Episode 31:

Fun fact: this episode aired the day after I was born.

Yellow tries sleeping while Pink reads a book. In her dream she suns from batzers in a temple with tanuki statues everywhere before waking up and running. The others go after her as she looks at their family picture from planet Sidon. The next day she goes to a similar temple complete with tanuki statues. She sees her mom about to be killed by.... Silver batzers? She then kicks them down and confronts her mom complete with heartwarmingness. The Gingamen show up in kung fu outfits to fight Yellow, some talking occurs, and martial arts antics ensue. Yellow hold sher own until they start chucking grenades, but she bunces back when they resort to swords and spears. Suddenly bear traps restrain her and hang her in a tree. The Gingamen restrain her mom while Doldora sends in Tanukiitsune Gin for the mission. They, for some reason, appear in a truck with a film reel that Tanukitsune Gin copies from that contains the Fivemen's mom and broadcasted it. After that we return to the scene wher ethe men save Yellow and their mom somehow escaped. This is really weird editing. The others are glad their mom is alive and it gets full of heart in the scene. Doldora shows up with her crew and the Fivemen transform. Yellow says they will explain later and that she has to run. Tanukitsune Gin uses a bear trap on a chain to kidnap their mom before we cut to Vulgyre where Doldora tells Medor everything is going according to plan. After that we see a film reel of the planet Sidon attack followed by a transmission of Doldora an the Gingamen holding their mom hostage. Yellow gets hyperactive and Red tells her it was all an illusion as his five blaster when through them in battle. She does not care and runs even with the Five-kun Dolls telling her to stop.

Yellow finds her mom who teleports briefly and Doldora tells her she is doomed before the Gingamen appear for the next round of martial arts. Once more she holds her own, but they gang up on her quickly. Just before they strike they disappear. G6 shows up to make illusions disappear which was pretty much everyone and this caused Tanukitsune Gin to go nuts much to Doldora's displeasure as she and Zaza exit their truck. G6 says he may have traced the signal. The real Doldora and Zaza show up with mooks which throw their claws to begin the next fight. Yellow runs to find the truck signal with the Five-kun Dolls cheering her one and she just finds Tanukitsune Gin looking drunk. She also sees the film reel before fighting occurs between the two. The others show up and she transforms while charging followed by an assault. This goes on until the Fiveman Ball is used on him. Doldora summons a gorlin to make Tanukitsune Gin big while Red sends in the fire machines to form 5R. Tanukitsune Gin throws his bear trap on a chain, but 5R just punches him down. After that he spawns some ramen noodles that try to restrain 5R only for the SD Sword to be spawned so the fight can end with Tanukitsune Gin being destroyed. After that the Fivemen collect the film reel and play it on the Magma Base computer with G6 theorizing she might be alive. Why only Yellow is tearful I don't know since they all have the same mom. Next episode shows the Fivemen with shurikens and a collar around Pink.

Tanukitsune Gin: Powers include illusion spawning, a bear trap on a chain, a saw disc, and coiling ramen noodles

Episode 32:

The Fivemen and G6 celebrate the birthday of Red with an outdoor party. Chevalier shows up to spoil their fun complete with engrish and sends in Wanikaeru Gin to attack them. They transform to fight back, but Wanikaeru Gin proves too much. Red has G6 become the Earth Cannon and they fire on him. Chevalier is disappointed as he is stunned and we see a rewind in black and whit eof the last minute. In other words, he has the power to turn back time. He also pauses it so Chevalier can attack Red to the point of him falling of a cliff. Chevalier throws a rose and Red is rushed to Magma Base where he is on life support. His heart stops beating and they panic. At Vulgyre Chevalier announces the death of Red and Medor is very pleased by this news. Wanikaeru Gin stumbles in being weak and Chevalier throws him diamonds as that is his fuel source, much to the annoyance of Dongoros. Cut to Magma Base where mourning begins, but Pink thinks Wanikaeru Gin's time powers might bring Red back. The others aren't convinced, but she replies by demanding they at least try something before she runs out. On a rooftop Chevalier tells Wanikaeru Gin to create a rain storm which causes acid rain. Pink shows up jut as it starts and begs for him to save Red. He places a metal collar on her and says she must defeat her other siblings just as they show up. Pink tells them the deal she made with them and Black throws a fit, charging in, but she punches him. Blue and Yellow tell her to stop, but she just fights them and kicks them into water. From a rooftop. Chevalier thinks this is awesome.

At some crystal cave Wanikaeru Gin gets scolded by Chevalier for being lazy and hording diamonds. He doesn't care since Pink is his new slave girl and no I am not taking a picture for the pervy fans watching. Chevalier says to get to work or he will receive no more diamonds. After this Pink goes to rob a diamond store with a machine gun. The others tell her to stop during her getaway, but she brushes them off. Chevalier shows up saying that Pink is his slave now and fights them. They transform and it goes about as well as you think. Wanikaeru Gin starts starving and goes to the diamond store Pin robbed. She shows up saying she knows what happened to them, specifically it was Red's birthday present. Being desperate, he rewinds the vast majority of the episode to when they were first attacked. Also everyone has memories of what happened. Wanikaeru Gin looks for diamonds only to get a fake hand with a pink rose. The Fivemen transform and Pink tells them to do an assault quickly which they do. Chevalier summons a gorlin to absorb him while Red brings in S5 to do combat. Wanikaeru Gin jumps in and whips S5, but the robot just throws him away and its shield is encased in energy and is used like a boomerang. The fight ends once the Star Gun fires at Wanikaeru Gin. The episode ends with Red having a proper birthday at sunset with fireworks as a gag gift that have an attached plushie of him. Next episode shows winds so strong it knocks houses around and a card with S5 on it.

Wanikaeru Gin: Powers include high jumping, a left arm energy tentacle, time manipulation, and acid rain summoning

Episode 33:

Garoa goes to the not-gene synthesizer where Chevalier makes fun of him after throwing a tarot card. Not sure what they're saying because I WISH I KNEW JAPANESE! I assume that Chevalier is threatening to kill Garoa given the finger across the throat gesture. Meanwhile, the other villains hear strange noises and discover a weird tube that emits hot steam. Apparently Garoa is releasing something from said tube and Doldora begs him not to. He points to the pictures on the tube who are Gori Gin and Washi Gin and the tube opens to reveal them in the reverse order.... And turns out both monsters are the same with different sides like a coin. Billion finds it weird, but amusing. Cut to Tokyo where Garoa sends Goriwashi Gin to spread chaos, Chevalier laughs at his inability to lead because TENSION. In a park, the Fivemen spot some boy on a tricycle that runs over Black's foot. His parents are taking pictures and they find it cute. Goriwashi Gin spins around and forms a huge wind that has the boy fall off and his trike breaks in two via hitting a tree. The Fivemen are barely able to rescue him from the tornadic winds. A high school girl is nearly crushed by a phone booth and a car tumbles by. Once the wind dies down the boy is returned to his parents and the Fivemen transform to fight. However, they get beaten up quickly and are sent flying from his winds. Medor is pleased by this and Garoa begs her to see him as important again while leering at Chevalier. The tornadic winds continues as the Fivemen watch at Magma Base. Red notices some antique costers on the floor G6 found and gets an idea. He heads out and shows Goriwashi the antique costers and tries to get him to walk straight. After that Red and him slam the costers to play some sort of game (I don't get it). Garoa shows up to tell him to get back to work.

Goriwashi Gin plays the coster game against some kids while the Fivemen watch until Garoa catches up to him and spins him around. This backfires as it sends him flying. Chevalier laughs at Garoa and throws a tarot card at him. This gives him the idea to play the coster game too.... Or just sends in a gorlin to absorb Goriwashi Gin. The Fivemen witness this and Goriwashi Gin uses the costers to slam down on them by Garoa's orders. Medor appears before Garoa who shows her his achievements. Garoa-kun says this is nice while the Five-kun Dolls cheer on the Fivemen. Red calls in S5 for combat and.... It has costers with itself on it too? What a strange monster fight. Eventually an actual battle happens with the Five-kun Dolls cheering them on with 5R called in so Super 5R can form. Goriwashi Gin attacks to no avail and gets punched in the eagle face before the Super Five Beam terminates him. Garoa feels ashamed for his failure and Medor strikes lightning at him before the black gorlin from a few episodes back takes him away. Next episode shows a shark tail moving across the ground and Dongoros setting up an outdoor event.

Goriwashi Gin: Powers include tornadic winds from spinning and jumping

Episode 34:

At Vulgyre, Medor is back to being irked and demands her minions do something already with everyone except Garoa present who is- Oh wow, I didn't think /m/ was serious, but HE HAS BEEN REDUCED TO CLEANING URINALS! Even the other villains (minus Chevalier) take pity on him. Chevalier says something insulting and Garoa almost cries as does Garoa-kun. The Gingamen play with stringed instruments (violins and chellos) which makes the Vulgyre all classy as Chevalier encourages fine dining. He then decides to take their celebration of Garoa's loss of power to Tokyo. Cut to a tail fin riding along the ground. Some people are playing tennis and one woman is grabbed by the tail's owner, Samejigoku, followed by two others. The Fivemen see this and Pink gets grabbed to save someone. I should note these women are shrunk and placed in cans, Pink's being carried by Chevalier after it is thrown in the air. She screams for help and Chevalier has the Gingamen bring out a cart and a picture with Sameji Gin and Arijigoku Gin on it saying his new combined galactic warrior was formed from these two. Also the tennis players are placed in cans for his fine dining. You know, as whacky as the other villain plots have been I can at least see the connection between those and their kill all humans strategy, but this? Oi. The others raise their voices and charge in while transforming, but Samejigoku Gin burrowing around manages to fend them off complete with fin slapping that causes sparing explosions. Well, now I'd know who would win in a fight between sentai teams and graboids from Tremors. Blue gets nabbed after Chevalier announces he will shrink them all and a tug of war begins. Red kicks Samejigoku Gin in the nose and the villains leave the area. An outdoor fine dining dinner is being prepared by the Zone Empire with even Dongoros getting dibs on Pink. The Five-kun Dolls are frightened by this. Some high school girls doing jogging get canned shortly after. Red, Black, and Yellow show up on hawk arrows to fight back followed by Blue. They manage to harpoon Samejigoku Gin, but that does little and Blue is soon canned. The three are knocked off their hawk arrows and Black is canned when trying to save Yellow. The remaining two try to make a run for it in a tree when the Gingamen try to shoot them down. Red fires back and they get away. Chevalier does not care because of his new prizes.

Soccer girls are attacked by Samejigoku Gin with Red and Yellow watching when the latter gets an idea. She shows off a white shirt and red dress (with a panty shot) to lure Samejigoku Gin like a pull and the myth that red angers them. Yellow lures him to a suspended hook on a crane. He jumps up and she gets down, causing Samejigoku Gin to get stuck like a fish. Red transforms and cuts him, causing the cans to explode and free everyone followed by Pink kicking Donogors in the face. Batzers show up and get slaughtered while the Gingamen shoot at the chain to free Samejigoku Gin. Chevalier joins in the fight by firing his laser pistol with a long barrel (James Bond homage?). The others show up to help and the Fiveman Ball is used on him., but Chevalier has a gorlin absorb him followed by Red calling in the five machines to combine into 5R. Chevalier also summons black gorlin who uses a bunch of boxing, but that doesn't work. Star Carrier is brought in to fire at them while 5R gets the SD Sword out. 5R then uses Star Carrier as a platform and brings out Samejigoku Gin in one slice while black gorlin runs off. The episode ends with the Fivemen on how Chevalier has gotten more ruthless or whatever. Next episode shows a woman in an apron and Red getting cut up by Chevalier.

Samejigoku Gin: Powers include burrowing, shrinking cans, a mouth beam, super speed, high jumping, and a razor dorsal fin

Episode 35:

On a farm we see some woman with an apron feeding her kids and husband. Red looks at some nearby cows which causes a flashback of when his mom showed him pictures of Earth before his parents went to space. Apron woman talks to Red since apparently they are friends or something. At Magma Base, G6 detects something on his old timey radar and the others rush out to a quarry. Explosions occur and we see Chevalier laughing. Blue yells at him while Chevalier says they are screwed as Hyoucobra Gin jumps down to fight. They get beaten up easily once they transform and Red rushes over after Blue calls him. He sees the others beaten up and takes them to Magma Base where G6 patches them up. Blue scolds Red for not showing up sooner and Black also joins in on the feel bad train. Yellow tells them to can it and Pink gives him confidence. Blue suddenly comes around I guess and Red feels bad. After that, Dongoros tells Garoa to give him some liquor and trips him on purpose. Medor tells her minions to start getting super serial and Garoa is jealous of Chevalier. This is followed by Chevalier demanding the Fivemen fight him and Hyoucobra Gin. The others don't feel like fighting so Red does it alone with the Five-kun Dolls cheering him on. Hyoucobra Gin attacks him in the quarry and once he transforms Chevalier joins in the attack. G6 views this on the monitor and tells the others to help him and they refuse. Red gets cut up quite a bit, but still keeps fighting. Chevalier then uses his laser pistol which causes the Fivemen to aid Red. Not sure why they don't take their hawk arrows, but whatever. Red sees a flower after running and calls to his parents, saying he wants to avenge them yet can't. Apron girl from earlier sees him and tries to help Red as he is upset.

The others show up to the quarry and can't find Red. Apron girl shows up to tell them he is fine. They appear at a stream where she says Red is still doing this for their parents' death twenty years back. Not sure why she would know, but whatever, it gives them a rather long confidence speech. Chevalier approaches Red with Hyoucobra assisting him followed by a fight scene- oh hey, Chevalier has a whip now. Hyoucobra Gin pins Red until the others show up to help him via kicking. This is followed by them transforming and assaulting- Wait, why is there a flashback of Red helping Blue with his homework? And Red cheering Pink up after bullies picked on her? This is a family episode isn't it? Also Black and Yellow painted Red in kindergarten. Chevalier calls a gorlin as opposed to the Ghostbusters for Hyoucobra Gin to be giant sized and Red brings in 5R to fight. Hyoucobra gets punched before going down from the SD Sword. The episode ends with the Fivemen and apron girl taking them to a hill where they realize family is important and such complete with apologies of not helping him sooner. Next episode shows Yellow with a busted nose and her training with Black.

Hyoucobra Gin: Powers include high jumping and a left hand energy beam

Episode 36:

Black and Yellow train in white sweat outfits to better themselves in flipping around. It goes well until he lands on her back. Red icicles fire from several directions followed by a random tentacle coiling Yellow. Black ges hit by one of these icicles and we find out it is the work of Sasorinamazu Gin- I am nicknaming him SN Gin for this sypnosis because that is a lot to type. Red kicks him with Blue and Pink helping the twins. After that the twins wake up and based on their voices we find out that they have switched bodies. The Fivemen notice pet owners having body switches nearby which is causing commotion around the area. SN Gin is spotted doing this to a random group of people and reveals to them this will cause chaos. Dongoros and Zaza show up and fends off Black and Yellow. Kind of a side note, but is there a coralation between catfish and electricity in Japanese culture? I noticed imilar powers from Namazungo from Voltes V. Anyway, Dongoros sicks some batzers on them and they transform although it doesn't work with Black and Yellow. Fighting breaks out and SN Gin uses his electric whip to restrain the twins until Red five blaster's them. Cut to Vulgyre where Medor is most displeased, but Chevalier says everything is under control. She then uses eye bolts to zap them which amuses Garoa. At Magma Base we see the twins being patched up by G6 as they complain about being in different bodies. Chevalier contacts them on their TVs to taunt them. The twins proceed to fight over a stuffed monkey while the others face the Zone Empire complete with Chevalier being a dick via taunting. The Gingamen are soon sent in only to get beaten up followed by Chevalier jumping in and slicing Red. This llows SN Gin to jump in and beat the tar out of them. The twins bicker with G6 because want to save their siblings, but he won't let them because of their body switching. They think of an idea and run.

Chevalier blasts the others with a laser pistol and throws a tarot card- You used a death card already.... Unless that is his shtick. The twins appear on a hill and talk at the same time saying they beat the body switching. Dongoros throws a fit at SN Gin and tells him to do his job. They lead him into the woods to taunt him around a rock. They are soon struck by body switching again and get their bodies back. The twins do some kicks before saving the others from Chevalier's smug and laser pistol. The Gingamen attack them, but that fails. They transform without issue which shocks everyone and the others join in complete with an explosive pose. Dongoros scolds SN Gin again and the twins use their five blasters in sword mode to fight him complete with the flipping they were doing earlier which causes explosions. Dongoros loses it and a gorlin is summoned by Chevalier while SN Gin has his head in the ground before being absorbed. Once Red calls Star Carrier, S5 is formed upon them boarding. Wasting no time S5 boxes SN Gin up followed by him using his electric whip. 5R gets called for with Black piloting it to use the SD Sword. One jump and slice releases S5 and the Twin Cannons stun him. The fight ends with the SD Sword and Star Gun being used at the same time. The episode ends with the townspeople all back to normal and the twins acting like each other jokingly. Next episode shows a robot in black, 5R fighting underwater, and Blue in a cannon.

Sasorinamazu Gin: Powers include launchable head stingers that switch bodies, a left arm tentacle, and an electric whip

Ginguiser is being subbed! Hopefully the mods are not dead as we head into the penultimate part that is part 5!

Episode 37:

At a waterfall the Fivemen (minus Red and Blue) encounter a black robot that is man handling them. Their five blasters only bounce of it as it punches a boulder to pieces. The swords are useful though and we find out that Red and G6 are controlling said bot for training and apparently it is called V-Vector. The bot starts blowing its armor off and we find out it was really Blue in disguise who passes out. The others try waking him up just as G6 and Red show up. Once he wakes up he says the training was too brutal when Red notices a crack in the armor that lead to the suit's malfunction. Some bickering between the two occurs and Blue walks off for acrobatics training. During it he encounters Sazaemadillo Gin who Doldora and Zaza lead to him. Wow this guy has armor thick enough to break a five blaster- wait, why is he stitched up? The other combined galactic warriors didn't need stitching- oh whatever. The others show up and Sazaemadillo Gin gives the batzers and Zaza special swords and shields that give them a major advantage. While G6 finished the armor crack, the Fivemen get smacked around. Red uses the five blaster and connects it to a compartment in his belt, setting himself a blaze and use the Ultra Dynamite. Sazaemadillo Gin is stunned add falls over much to Doldora's displeasure while the others find Red also knocked out nearby. After some slow motion running they are uncertain if he will wake up. Blue blames himself and Doldora throws a fit so much she brings in the gorlin earlier than normal for Sazaemadillo Gin to be absorbed.

5R is called for and the Fivemen board it. The Twin Cannons fail and the SD Sword breaks in half as Pink tries to wake Red up. The Star Carrier gets called in so Super 5R can be formed. Sazaemadillo Gin marches forward and takes hits like a boss before going in full melee himself. The Super Five Beam is used and HOLY CRAP THE FIST IS KNOCKED OFF! Super 5R crashes into some rocks and Doldora demands he finish it. Sazaemadillo Gin claws it to hell and back while Chevalier tells Medor that victory is almost at hand. This causes Garoa to be jealous and Medor smiles from the news. After that Sazaemadillo Gin throws Super 5R into a very deep lake to have an underwater fight. Water begins to leak in and they are losing power quickly. Sazaemadillo Gin beams them while they are down and Red finally, but barely, is back to consciousness. Blue tells him to hang in there while he goes outside- wait, that is the ocean! He heads to the surface while the others are losing power (or air, without subs it is a tad hard to tell). Blue makes it to Magma Base demanding the training armor which is conveniently called the B2. Super 5R flies out of the water with Sazaemadillo Gun jumping after it followed by beam spam. Blue shows up on a hill to show up in his spiffy new five tector armor. He enters a tube in the severed wrist of Super 5R and demands he be fired at the enemy a la the episode of Ultraseven where he shrunk into a cannon to take down Crazygon. The others hesitate, but agree and fire him just as Red fully wakes up to see it. The women refuse to watch it, but Blue goes through Sazaemadillo Gin which causes him to blow up. So yes, very happy moment for them. The episode ends with the narrator mentions how they have new power. Next episode shows batzers mining and Black yelling at Red.

Sazaemadillo Gin: Powers include thick armor, reinforced swords and shields, a right hand beam, and a left wrist blade

Episode 38:

In the mountains we see Blue jogging with some boy at a new elementary school. Inside we see the Fivemen as teachers returning to their day jobs. Jog boy manages to do a hurdle and everyone claps with Blue following with a confidence speech. That night the Fivemen- why does Red have a mustache? Holy crap they were the villains in disguise! Medor contacts them and Chevalier says he has asked for help from a monster named Anmonaiton who specializes in pollution. Chevalier reveals a hidden compartment under a desk that leads to a mine with batzers and the gingamen digging for minerals for Anmonaiton. Cut to the next day where we see stock footage of a spider eating a butterfly and Black stops for a drink of water near a fountai. He spots his doppleganger and vice versa. The doppleganger leads the kids away, but that fails as he high tails it to the school and the real Black takes the kids back. The new school was made without them knowing and he finds that super weird while the villains look on from outside. Mustache Red shows up chasing a white rabbit because that is cute. Black recognizes him as Garoa and demands he shed his disguise. The kids drag Black away so Garoa can run inside. He finds the secret mine and fights the mooks inside. The kids hear this under the floor and the villains try to get the kids away from it and start singing to drown out the noise. Black transforms and the villains take the kids outside. Black finds a vault that contains Anmonaiton who blasts the hell out of him- oh wow his right arm is his head. Chevalier, as Blue, heads down and congratulates Anmonaiton for beating Black before walking him away.

A vulgos flies overhead of the school and the villains have the kids go under the playground sets. The saucer uses a tractor beam to take Anmonaiton away. The kids notice their teachers disappear and notice Chevalier running away so one chases after them (I think jog boy). The vulgos is detected at Magma Base and Red heads out via Sky Alpha. Black finds the abandoned kids and tells them everything will be fine until he finds out about the boy that ran after Chevalier. Suddenly some cool rock music plays as Red dogfights the vulgos. A couple more show up and he dodges their bolt fire. He fires back, blasting them down one by one. The one carrying Anmonaiton crashes via butting into it. The others regroup at the crash site where Chevalier shows up and tells him to run. The villains face the Fivemen while Black tries finding running boy. Anmonaiton is ordered to attack the ocean when Black shows up and takes Chevalier's whip to throw him back on land. The boy shows up (Kota?) and Chevalier reveals himself in front of him before taking the boy hostage. The others show up and the kid recognizes Blue. Also the Fivemen transform, now all with five tectors! Yellow saves the boy and Black goes after Anmonaiton. The women followed this up with Red and Blue kicking him in the air afterward. Red then becomes engulfed in flames and rams into Anmonaiton which blows him up. The episode ends with the Fivemen teaching their kids in the mountains complete with school fun. Next episode shows a space ship with a woman in white Billion likes to the point of nearly kissing her.

Episode 39:

A space ship looking like a pill heads to Earth and out of it comes an alien woman in white named Mirian Solar. Apparently she is looking for Billion. The next day we see Black and Yellow training when we see Billion show up with batzers. The others show up and fighting breaks out with Yellow trying to attack Billion. Mirian Solar shows up to stop her and uses a pole to create an energy vortex to send them flying. Mirian Solar talks to Billion, remembering when the Gingamen killed her parents and he showed up to save her in a flashback. After he left flowers for them he walked off and she has been looking for Billion ever since. At Vulgyre, she says she will serve him in front of Chevalier and the others. Billion is skeptical, but will agree if she helps rid him of the Fivemen. She trots off before cutting to a lake where she observes the Fivemen enjoying themselves. She also sees a mom and baby enjoying the scenery. The others train Yellow with poles and nearly hurt her, but she wants to beat Mirian Solar who shows up literally seconds later. Yellow holds her own and gets a kick to the face in. After Mirian Solar takes a green pill she turns into the monster Dark Solar followed by the Fivemen transforming to fight her. Billion watches from the bushes and finds it impressive. However, Dark Solar writhes in pain and turns back to normal. Billion props her up and she is embarrassed he saw her like that. Billion replies with say he likes her just the way she is. She still has a red pill left and intends to take it as a last resort. More talking continues about how alone she is or whatever. After that they kiss and turn into regular humans NO I AM NOT MAKING THAT UP AND WHY IS BILLION WEARING SPANISH CLOTHING? AT Magma Base the Fivemen wonder how to beat Dark Solar.

Billion and Mirian Solar have a day out on the town, a date if you will, complete with random clothe changing. Near midnight they change back and Mirian Solar is scared. Billion tries to ease her via back rubbing. That morning we see Red on his motorcycle when Mirian Solar attacks her. Red says they know her condition and wish to help. Billion shows up and tells him to can it. Mirian Solar takes the last pill to turn her into Dark Solar and fights Red. The others show up and transform followed by batzers that fail at ambushing. Billion accidentally stabs Dark Solar when she tried to restrain Red. He pushes her down and Red comes to her aid while the others get cut by Billion. He also reveals that he was the one to use the Gingamen on her parents and he just felt like beating them up. Dark Solar attacks, but remembers last night's date so she restrains herself. She then attacks the Fivemen and Red slashes her. Dark Solar grabs the tip of Billion's sword demanding to die and he thrusts it into her neck. She sparks up and turns back into a human. In her last moments she sees Red as Billion and confesses her love for him before dying as some echo-y song plays in the background. Billion even holds a flower for her passing and places it into the ocean. Next episode shows a boy with a demonic sword with Billion taking it to fight Red.

Darkk Solar: Powers include high jumping, a bo staff, and finger energy blasts

Episode 40:

Billion meditates on a rock and a sword falls from space. He deflects it with his sword and the sword is revealed to be Saber Gin who Billion notes is notorious for possessing its wielders. However, he takes it and by the power of Gray Skull his eyes turn red. Cut to a bunch of ids practicing kendo with the Fivemen watching Red teach them. Black thinks it is a good thing and Yellow notes one kid doing well. However, said kid is acting aggressive to his opponent and Red tells him to stop. The boy says he wants to get big and strong like Red after seeing him slug some muggers. Red appreciates it, but tells the kid to get some virtues first or something. Billion shows up with Saber Gin to attack Red in front of his students. He catches Saber Gin samurai style before Billion continues his assault. The kids are lead away by the others as Red dodges the rock cutting slices although kendo boy watches from a distance. Red tells him to stop as Saber Gin spews energy blasts and Red uses Billion's regular sword to unarm him. However, Red sees his student near Saber Gin and tells him not to touch it, but the kid is lured with temptation and holds it. He becomes possessed and attacks Red. He sends Red off a cliff just as the others show up. They get blasted upon transforming and the kid soon sends them off a cliff. Medor shows up demanding to know what Billion is doing who replies by saying Saber Gin as dealt with the Fivemen despite how they climb up another cliff shortly after. Red is concerned for kendo kid who is told to go after random civilians.

It takes the kid a few seconds, but he soon charges in with his sword and cuts a bench in half. This is followed by a water fountain, a bike, and a street light pole before the Fivemen arrive. Saber Gin has kendo boy swing at them before the transform.... Just to get hit directly. Red tries to appeal to kendo boy which actually works until Saber Gin tries harder for possession. Red tells the others to back off as he will handle it. He charges in and takes a couple of hits before grabbing Saber Gin. Particles from Red's armor start causing kendo boy to regain control and he even cries. One of his tears allows him to let go upon touching his hand. Kendo boy says he is sorry and Red forgives him. Saber Gin flies off and Billion takes him again and holy crap he has armor now! Red gives a speech about how unforgivable that was and such and faces Billion while the others handle random batzers. Red's five blaster is sliced in half and he gets blasted. Blue throws Red his and the sword fight continues. Billion resorts to making himself big and the area becomes stormy followed by Red having the five machines roll out and form 5R. Wasting no time 5R brings out the SD Sword and fights Saber Gin in the armored Billion. This fight is actually really cool. Before long Saber Gin is sliced in half and Billion returns to normal with blood pouring from his mouth. He screams at the Fivemen and the episode ends with outdoor kendo class returning to normal complete with Red encouraging kendo boy to come back and join them. Next episode shows revived galactic warriors and some dating.

Saber Gin: Powers include flight, possession, energy blasts, and size changing

Episode 41:

Yellow and Pink go shopping at the mall for tissues and toilet paper. Yellow loathes it because she is carrying stuff when Pink comes across a guy in 60s clothing and hair that gives her a letter. After he heads down some stairs, Yellow thinks it is a love letter. She opens it while on a bench and apparently stranger danger man wants to date her. Yellow shows up to show her stuff she got and Pink is not interested. Doldora and Zaza in civilian form tell the guy their plans are going smoothly and we find out he is really Chamelezaru Gin in disguise. Cut to Magma Base where Pink daydreams with G6, Red, and Yellow watching. Black and Blue come in to throw their coats on her and she flips out. After that she heads back to the mall wondering what to wear when Chamelezaru Gin shows up with flowers. The talk for a bit outside and he takes her on a road trip where she has new clothes. After that is some horseback riding, speedboat riding, and diving. Medor tells Doldora to get progress done and she replies saying everything is going according to plan. Pink and Chamelezaru Gin run around the beach briefly and talk some more. Pink notices something with his eyes going side ways several times, but ignores it. Red gives her a ride back to Magma Base and on the way they are attacked by Chamelezaru Gin. His invisibility allows him to outmaneuver them and Pink gets captured. Doldora sends in batzers lead by Zaza to attack Red. The others show up to help and Pink gets free. Doldora emits bolts from her stick and the Fivemen transform. Before long the villains free and Pink notices the eye movement. At Vulgyre Doldora says they will do better next time.

Yellow tells the men that Pink is bummed out about something. Some talk occurs and Pink heads back to shore to meet Chamelezaru Gin as a human when she noted the eye movements. They talk a bit before Chamelezaru Gin reveals his true self. Pink is distraught from this and gets smacked followed by a prod bolt from Doldora which knocks her out. After that we see the others racing to find her at a quarry. The villains show up and Doldora revives a few galactic warriors that were slain in previous episodes, but with no color on their skin. The others are freaked out and we see a silver filling in Red's teeth during the close ups while Doldora laughs. The ghosts blast them before we see pink left in a jail cell cave guarded by the Gingamen. She grabs one of their guns and blasts her way out. Chamelezaru Gin attacks Red, but Pink shows up with a gun to distract him. Zaza fires energy cutters from her knives and Pink shoots the prod out of Doldora's hands. Pink gives a quick speech and everyone transforms complete with an explosive pose and a squad of batzers getting beaten down. Pink handles Chamelezaru Gin herself and we find out the Fivemen have a Five Eye which allows them to see invisible enemies. She shoots him before the Fiveman Ball is used on him. Doldora summons a gorlin to make him king sized while Red calls in S5 to do combat. Chamelezaru Gin uses lots of invisibility attacks, but S5 uses its shield as an energy projectile to stun him and finishes him with the Star Gun. The episode ends with Pink thanking the others at the ocean who try to cheer her broken heart up.... by teasing Yellow. Next episode shows the Gingamen disguised as the Fivemen.

Episode 42:

At some kung fu school students train one another with Yellow being among them. One little girl hurts a boy too hard to the point of nosebleed and Yellow takes care of him. She tells the small girl that she should not hurt others like that. Cut to Vulgyre where Garoa notices a curtain with fog coming from it. He enters with a mop in hand before being blasted what I assume is snow. The entire ship shakes and Medor appears, notably in warm colors to express her rage for everyone's constant failures. She begins to eye zap them demanding they make progress and Chevalier has an idea. At the kung fu school we see a guy it white robes attack the students and win single handedly. Yellow sees this and discovers it is Chevalier. He ditches his disguise and attacks Yellow before she transforms. While she tries a green ray of light takes the particles of the suit that originated from Hiruageha Gin. The green ray was from his right arm and spewed form his butterfly-like mouth to turn a Gingaman into an imitation Fiveman. Yellow finds herself unable to transform and Chevalier laughs at her. The Gingaman fights her rather easily and the students limp away with some carrying the others. The little girl from earlier tries to see what is up where she and nosebleed boy see the Gingaman beating Yellow to a pupl with a chain. She is soon forced off a cliff and the little girl wants to know what happened only for the Gingaman to knock the kids out via hitting. Chevalier looks over the cliff and shoots the ground. The Gingaman is attacked by his allies to assist in luring the others out. This happens as they appear on their hawk arrows and Hiruageha Gin steals their energy and redirects it to the Gingamen. Now the imitation sentail is complete as the others find out they cannot transform.... The Gingamen still act dumb as they use their guns as clubs. Chevalier tells Medor how awesome his plan is going and she is pleased. When the others are surrounded, Yellow shows up with a jeep to run the Gingamen downa dn save her siblings.

At Magma Base the others are patched up by G6 while the Gingamen cause mayhem around town. During this Chevalier demands the Fivemen fight them and Yellow wants to go out despite G6 telling her not to. The Gingamen shoot up a local food market and tear it up. The ung fu kids tell them to stop by throwing vegetables and the Gingamen laugh it off. The little girl even says they aren't the real Fivemen despite the suits. Yellow starts crying by how brave they are acting even though she is hurt. Yellow appears and fights the head Gingaman, one kick turning him back to normal. The others attack, but her kung fu brings them down followed by a five blaster. Chevalier says she won't survive for long and the others show up to disagree. Five on fight rumble complete with scenery changing! In civilian form the Fivemen make quick work of their Gingaman counterparts. G6 shows up to give them their five bracers so they can transform and do an explosive pose. Hiruageha Gin is shot at by Yellow before charging in and getting the Super Five Ball (which I mistakenly called Fiveman Ball, sorry about that folks) to stun him. Chevalier has a gorlin absorb him and Red calls in 5R to fight. After 5R tosses Hiruageha Gin, he takes the SD Sword to attack it. Star Carrier is brought in for Super 5R to form. The SD Sword is easily taken back and Hiruageha Gin gets slashed up before the Super Five Beam causes him to explode. The episode ends with the kung fu students returning to their lessons with the two kids from earlier making comments about how great Yellow is and such. Next episode shows a humanoid TV in a dress falling in love with a boy.

The era ends here! Time for part final!

Episode 43:

Pteranotele Gin will be shortened to PT Gin to save time typing. The villains notice the curtain from last episode and try to peek in. Chevalier notices Garoa being spooked and is told to go in against his will. In it is a bunch of fog that pushes them back. Chevalier thinks something strange is going on when Medor appears and tells them to stop. Cut to Magma Base where the Fivemen are talking about whatever, something to do with computers- Holy crap they showed a kid watching Denziman! Not even joking! Also some kids playing baseball. Black and the boy's mom try to convince TV boy to play baseball with his friends while- Wait, now he's watching Battle Fever J? Toei must have had a marathon back in the day or this is the Turboranger special. Maybe Fiveman takes place in the same continuity as those anniversary episodes of Kamen Rider OOO? Yoshino refuses and just wants to watch TV. Black opens his window and his friends want him to come outside, but he refuses. That night we see PT Gin flying around town. Toshino is told by the TV not to turn it off at 11:13 PM. The TV soon comes alive into a humanoid form with a dress and even shows clips from the first episode of the series. THIS CONFIRMS CONTINUITY! The same thing happens around Tokyo with people being attacked by their TVs in humanoid form with the opposite sex.... They're appealing to robosexuals! Quick, AkibaRed, hide! At Vulgyre we see Dongoros introducing PT Gin to the other villains and his torso TV impresses Billion. He also shows his plan of brainwashing people with TVs around Tokyo because killing rich people would make poor people open to attack, I think. Yoshino tries to escape, but his TV won't let him and even chases after him. The other boys stare wondering what the hell is going on as his TV confesses her love. The chasing goes on for a while until Black attacks her, breaking the screen, but it regenerates and an energy beam is emitted from the screen. Black tries taking Yoshino, but can't shake her until Red and Blue drop a box on her. Pink says the same thing is happening around town when Dongoros appears and attacks them- HIS TV SURVIVED BEING CRUSHED! Dongoros says she is doing a good job and PT Gin uses his screen to teleport attacks from Doldora, Billion, and Zaza to the Fivemen.

Black takes Yoshino to a park when the other boys start taunting. This continues into giving their position away as Black and Yoshino go into a maze. One of the boys points out that maybe helping the homicidal TV isn't a smart idea. Yoshino regrets watching so much TV and Black tells him not to worry. Even the other boys scold the psycho TV and she starts attaccking Yoshino and Black. They make it out of the maze and into an abandoned facility. The TV still finds them and one of the boys gives him a baseball outfit. He is then joined by a bunch of boys running around trying to find him. This makes the TV dizzy and it displeases Dongoros. The others show up, Black gives a speech and transforms, and the TV explodes beofre PT Gin jumps in. Black uses his five tector armor to fight back and Chevalier uses his pistol through the screen, but that fails. Black then does the fire ball and ram shtick and Dongoros has a gorlin absorb him followed by Red bringing in S5. PT Gin tries flight rams, but S5 tosses him. Black Gorlin is brought out to help briefly and 5R is summoned to form Super 5R. After that Super 5R uses a V energy beam from the V on its forehead to stun PT Gin followed by using the Jet Knuckle and finishing the fight with the Super Five Beam. The episode ends with Yoshino back to playing baseball and Black playing ball with them, striking out when on bat. Next episode shows a black flag and Garoa as a giant robot that tears Super 5R to pieces.

Pteranotele Gin: Powers include flight, life instilling into televisions, and a torso dimensional screen

Episode 44:

After a flashback of the Tokyo attack in the first episode we ssee the elementary school officially repoened for teaching complete with balloons and kids with potted flowers. The Fivemen are getting dressed up at Magma Base for the occasion. G6 sees a meter go up and down before cutting to the Arctic where the Vulgyre is heating up. The villains scramble to figure out what is going on. A gorlin is hooked up to organic wires and we see his is Garoa's doing. Chevalier curses him when Garoa says he is done mopping and a flashback shows he found the wires from the ceiling which zapped him. He is using the Vulgyre's power to power up a gorlin to make himself more powerful. Meanwhile, the Fivemen take a jeep when a bulldozer suddenly attacks them. The ask what the hell when the powerful up gorlin appears and absorbs a bunch of construction vehicles to become Big Garoa with him piloting. How he is piloting it I do not know, but screw it, the guy is out for revenge. The Fivemen transform and have S5 appear just for it to get gunned. During this the students wonder where there teachers are. 5R is called in for Super 5R to form, but that fails as Big Garoa slaps its crap. Even the Super Five Beam fails to stop its big claw.... Then Super 5R gets blown to bits by Big Garoa's guns! G6 tries contacting them just as the thevillains surround the bot's remains. Garoa laughs and Chevalier wants their bodies since they aren't present. Garoa thinks they are at Magma Base and that they should assault it. During this we see that the Fivemen are injured.

Big Garoa marches toward Magma Base while the Fivemen run toward it as well. However, when they show up Magma Base has disappeared into outer space. After another flashback of the first episode, Garoa gets angry when he sees a computer message on his monitor. Apparently Big Garoa is intercepting a computer message the students are sending. G6 picks this up too and tells the Fivemen. Apparently this situation is bad as Big Garoa goes toward the elementary school. Big Garoa makes way through the city when the Fivemen show up on a rooftop. Garoa tells them they are doomed as he marches his big robot forward. G6 shows up to become the Earth Cannon and apparently the blast at the forehead stopped Big Garoa to its knees. Red gives a speech about whatever before Big Garoa stands up. The Fivemen jump down.... Toward a quarry to lead Big Garoa away. Magma Base returns to Earth I assume from auto pilot. The various cannon defenses fire all at once and Big Garoa is destroyed. At Vulgyre, Garoa returns all burnt. Medor appears to say Garoa was brave, but he still failed miserably. The episode ends with the wreckage of Super 5R being looked at by the pilots and G6. Next episode shows Gunther returning and Red at Vulgyre.

Red tries to keep everyone on task while Black starts having doubts. Cut to Vulgyre where Medor says that now that Super 5R is down now is the time to strike. Garoa says he will proudly lead the charge into battle which rallies the other villains complete with Billion taking a shot of liquor. Suddenly, the Gingamen show up with machine guns pointed at the Zone Empire. Chevalier says he is sending ina galactic warrior he knows named Iwakaseki Gin who arrives via meteor falling. He says Iwakaseki Gin will entrap the Fivemen while being smug. Chevalier's black dish flies around Japan and the Fivemen head out for some reason. Chevalier and Iwakaseki Gin are beamed down and the former gives a speech about how screwed they are before attacking via summoning rockmen. The Fivemen attack them in melee to no avail followed by the five blasters failing. Pink is forced into a rock to which Chevalier says is his trophy before kissing her mask. The fight continues with them using their five tectors, but the rockmen reform and take everyone except Red into rocks. Chevalier attacks Red himself via laser pistol before the rockmen try to imprison him. Suddenly a ball of energy appears which is revealed to be Gunther who is glad to see Red. Gunther manhandles a rockman before Chevalier has everyone beam up on his black dish. Gunther's jumping abilities allows him to grab onto it as G6 worries what will happen.

At Vulgyre, Chevalier has two rockmen restrain Red while telling Garoa he is better than him. He also has a rock prepared for his imprisonment with everyone unaware Gunther is beating up batzers. He soon makes his way in, but it is too late. Garoa demands Gunther be terminated for trying to interfere, but he just uses an energy chain to take Red's rock away. Chevalier is too smug to care while Gunther manages to hide himself from the villains. He whips out an ax, but a pair of organic wires from the ceiling stops him and suspends him. Chevalier walks in and Gunther kicks the rock away from him near the curtain. This causes it to suck up a rockman and the rock, both of which are dissolved by acid from a wire. Red wakes up and tries to find a way out. He manages to transform and pokes a hole in the floor which causes a huge scream. Red realizes something strange is going on and is zapped out to a regular room. He turns on his five tector armor and does a fire ball ram at Iwakaseki Gin which takes out the rockme and frees the others. G6 shows up to greet them while Chevalier throws a fit. Red shows the other villains the ship is alive as one of the walls has not wires, but intestines. In other words the Vulgyre is alive and this horrifies them. Garoa calls for Medor when the ground shakes around them. Medor appears on a screen saying her underlings screwed up and because of this they are going to perish. Vulgyre gets up and flies off, attacking Japan with the Fivemen viewing at Magma Base. Lots of explosions everywhere! Medor figures that if they won't destroy Earth then she will and laughs about it. Next episode shows Doldora giant sized, Gunther injured, and Billion dueling with Red.

Iwakaseki Gin: Powers include a meteor form and rockman spawning

Episode 46:

Medor is happy that Vulgyre is about to rampage across the planet with her minions and Red inside. At the school the kids see the Vulgyre fly by and it scares them. Medor notices that the white flowers were absorbed by Vulgyre and it causes the ship to crash. Garoa demands an explanation and the hologram screen Medor used suddenly cracks. This is followed by some weird voice talking and Doldora goes made saying she will destroy the place because betrayal and such. She starts sobbing and Zaza runs to her only to be shoved aside. Once Doldora takes off her helmet she continues to lose her sanity as the strange voice talks to her and an intestine grabs her. Zaza tries freeing her, but that fails and the two are fused into the monster Baradol Gin. Billion takes a shot and Red goes after Baradol Gin, but Billion demands he fight him first because allies and such. Baradol Gin goes to the school garden to mutate the flower to attack kids. The others arrive to fight Baradol Gin while Vulgyre starts to twitch. The mutant plants turn their flowers from white to red and restrain the others via thorny vines. Gunther frees Red from Billion attacking him as the Vulgyre shakes. One of the kids saves a potted flower and Baradol Gin gives chase. The boy is cornered by a tree and throws the flower. Red kicks her and gets entangled by a vine. Billion arrives and says something before charging at Red. Gunther takes Billion's sword and keeps it in place. He uses his ax to free Red from the vine and falls over a cliff that clearly was not there before.

Red tries waking up Gunther as the others show up. Gunther whispers something in Red's ear- I WISH I KNEW JAPANESE! Gunther looks into the sky and shares his back story of when their parents helped him out at one point. After that is when he took S5 and their mom even cooked up pudding. Gunther regrets doing all that and dies as two kids watch from a distance, one with the potted flower. Billion and Baradol Gin show up wanting to fight and Red tells them this is the end before they transform. The kids discover their teachers were the Fivemen as Red duels with Billion and the others get entangled by Baradol Gin. Billion throws his liquor and has a climactic fight with Red sword to sword and even tears off his cape. Red stabs him in the gut and wears his five tector before doing the fire ball ram. Billion looks at the moon before dying an explosive death. A gorlin shows up to absorb Baradol Gin to make her a giant and S5 is sent in with G6 piloting it. Red tells the others the must avenge Gunther and proceed to use S5 to punch up Baradol Gin. A Star Gun shot stuns her before they use the Hanging Beam and a second shot to terminate her. At night Magma Base picks up something in orbit. The Fivemen try analyzing it while G6 places the picture taken on Sidon. The Fivemen yell to their mom and dad as their signal is received by them at the asteorid P16.... HOLY CRAP THEY ARE ALIVE! I did not expect this! They find out it is their kids (somehow) and try to reply back. Just then the radio at Magma Base fries and they see Vulgyre lighting up which is likely the interference. The head out at sundown where Vulgyre starts moving upright and moves around. This creeps them out as well as the villains. Two random alien doctors are killed and Vulgyre tells the underlings to collect drops of his blood from the ceiling to enhance themselves that Dongoros collects with a giant beaker. The ship emits fog and Garoa leads batzers to fight the Fivemen with Chevalier joining with his Gingamen. The Fivemen transform to fight both groups at once- Wait, Chevalier is fighting Garoa- Wait no he isn't, he's fighting Red in the chaos. During this Vulgyre turns into a giant egg which has everyone looking. During this the parents still try contacting their kids and we find out their dad took a bunch of notes on Vulgyre. The beaker Dongoros has been using fills up as the fighting outside continues. Garoa uses a new energy cyclone attack on the others while the Gingamen attack Red all at once. The egg cracks with lightning around it as the beaker is near being full. The Gingamen try a new combo attack which sends Red near Garoa, allowing him to slice the left horn on his helmet off. After that the Fivemen take out the Gingamen, one slash and they all go boom. Chevalier curses them.

Dongoros continues to collect green blood and Chevalier summons black gorlin to go after the Fivemen. 5R is brought in to deal with him, but Chevalier catches Red with a long handcuff, forcing them to duel to the death. Chevalier goes in hard while Blue pilots 5R. Black Gorlin uses some boxing and wrestling followed by shoulder missiles. Star Carrier comes in with G6 piloting and firing at Black Gorlin. Dongoros starts freaking out as the beaker is almost full and Black Gorlin continues fighting in melee. Chevalier uses his laser pistol to give him an advantage and 5R combines with S5 to form Super 5R. Black Gorlin brings out the chained mace as the egg starts to get bulbous. Red and Chevalier charge in slow motion and Super 5R uses the Super Five Beam on Black Gorlin, destroying him. Red executes a cut that bisects Chevalier, including his sword, and causes him to fall and release the handcuff. Chevalier turns into a ball of fire and goes into the egg. Two tentacles emerge from it and Garoa and Dongoros are frightened. The last of the beaker is filled with a different liquid as Vulgyre goes on a long speech about how his minions have failed him. Garoa goes nuts from the psychological effect and egg hatches in a fiery burst to form Vulgyre's true form. This ends the episode with everyone scared and the parents trying to figure out how to save their kids. Next episode shows Vulgyre in all his glory and the Magma Base being blown up.

Episode 48:

After a quick recap of last episode Vulgyre starts talking about the destruction of earth and Garoa laughs like mad. He hovers and spews fire balls everywhere as well as bash with his four tentacles.Tokyo becomes filled with destruction as Super 5R heads toward Vulgyre and uses that V beam. Vulgyre fails to care as his wings create hurricane force winds strong enough to send the bot flying away. Cut to P16 where the parents still call for help, the mom crying and the dad trying to maintain composure. Civilians get zapped and it looks horrific. Flower boy from two episodes ago takes the potted white flower and runs off against his mom's wishes. Super 5R tries to get up as Vulgyre approaches. Once it does Super 5R marches and G6 lifts Magma Base up so Max Magma can be formed. SO MUCH FIRE POWER! Also Vulgyre proves to be friggin gigantic in comparison as that isn't enough! VULGYRE FOR COLOSSAL KAIJU COMBAT- Ehh mhm. Sorry about that. The parents continue their worrying as Max Magma begins to fall apart. The parents manage to contact their kids and they answer them back. Their dad tells them the Sidon flowers are Vulgyre's weakness before static stops the transmission. The dad monologues to himself while Vulgyre continues rampaging through Tokyo and aims for potted flower boy who is wandering the streets.

Vulgyre chases the boy into a field when the Fivemen show up and find him. They save him from a fire ball and the pott goes down a cliff, but Yellow nabs it with her ribbon. Red tells him the flower is important and that he did the right thing. The Fivemen head off toward the damaged Max Magma and enter the cockpit as awesome electric guitar music plays. Vulgyre is slowly destroying it as Super 5R flies out and goes straight into his mouth. The Fivemen head out while Garoa acts inside inside of him and encounters the Fivemen. Sword fighting happens and Red cuts off his other horn. Dongoros tries stealing as many gold bars as he can as the Fivemen and Garoa find Medow in human form in a coffin. The flower allowed her spirit to separate from her body. Here we find out that Vulgyre wanted her to be her queen and she refused so he entrapped her body in a glass coffin and used her spirit as a projection to guide the underlings. An organic ship in love with an alien human woman, that is.... One weird version of Beauty and The Beast. She uses the Sidon flower's power to charge herself up and ram into what I think is Vulgyre's heart. Her body rapidly decays and Garoa dives into her coffin. Super 5R makes it out in time with Vulgyre in pain. It forms a fire ball and rams through Vulgyre with Garoa trapped in the coffin and Dongoros unable to find an exit, destroying all three villains in a fiery explosion. After that the Fivemen confront their students about how wonderful life is and whatnot while saying they have to leave. The kids cry and sing as a farewell gift to their teachers and protectors. The episode ends with the Fivemen taking off in Star Carrier and waving to their students goodbye as they reach P16.

Vulgyre Monster Form: Powers include storage, four tentacles, levitation, mouth fire balls, torso lightning, and hurricane winds from the wings
=================================================
I LOVE THIS SERIES! Worst Sentai? Not even close! Pants on fire rating for that myth! Ranger balance turned out to be good, everyone got appropriate amounts of screen time. The villains were mostly good, they had nice Maskman style intentions with monsters similar to that of Changeman and it was never annoying. The big twist at the end was well done even though some build up earlier could have made it better. Vulgyre actually proves to be a great main villain because he is essentially tricking his minions to such a degree for his obsessive love and at the cost of everyone else to the point of using her, against her will, to make him happy. A giant predator that doesn't seem like a predator and has been leading the forces of evil from the shadows, much like Gozma! In fact he might be a better villain because if the Fivemen couldn't stop him he would have been immortal and that would have been it! Gozma you can at least argue if someone develops weapon busting tech he may lose. This also officially makes him a bigger troll than Dr. Man because even as smart as he is he can only do so much. Garoa reminds me of Death Giller, hammy and enjoying himself, but also serious while Chevalier is his rival, the bishonen smug villain that took over as sentai rival from Dynaman onward, in a way it is two types of rivals fighting each other and my favorite lasted longer! I can understand the laziness and inconsistent plans as time went on as they focus more toward beating the Fivemen, that way nobody could stop their invasions. My only serious gripe with this series was the Gingamen, the anti-sentai and they were nothing more than grunts with different guns, what a shame. As for the puppet dolls, they were adorable, I can understand someone not liking them, but they provided jokey entertainment. That final battle was absolutely friggin amazing, I'd definitely recommend it to anyone that wants a taste of why people like Super Senati.

Overall it is my second favorite Sentai after Changeman! Why second and not first? Aside from the laughable use of the Gingamen, Changeman also gave villains that weren't evil a happy ending, here that doesn't happen. Not to mention Garoa being reduced to janitor duties in the third quarter, while funny, was a bit too harsh. Still, Changeman is one of those pinnacle tokusatsu series that expecting to beat it is extremely hard for even stuff in other genres to stack up to and second best with such competition is still saying something.

Changeman > Fiveman > Denziman > Bioman > Dynaman > Maskman > Goggle-V > Turboranger > Battle Fever J > Flashman > Gorenger > JAKQ > Sun Vulcan > Liveman

Also, as promised, ranking vehicles and bases as well as mecha! Quick note, just because something is in the bottom section does not mean I don't like it or loathe it or anything of the sort as I enjoyed everything being listed here and it will continue to grow over time. First with things that store and carry other things:

Magma Base > Turbo Builder > Denzi Tiger > Battle Shark > Goggle Caesar > Sky Ace > Dyjupiter > Machine Buffalo > Jaguar Vulcan > Bio Dragon > Varidreen > Varibloom > Star Condor > Shuttle Base > Turbo Ranger > Varikikyun > Gran Tortoise > Round Base > Big Baser

and now mecha; temporarily I am not adding combined forms, that will happen after I take on Jetman:

Great Five > Bio Robo > Turbo Robo > Star Five > Five Robo > Flash King > Goggle Robo > Live Boxer > Change Robo > Dyna Robo > Battle Fever Robo > Sun Vulcan Robo > DaiDenziJin > Live Robo > Turbo Rugger > Titan Boy > Land Galaxy

Speaking of which, Jetman will be taken on some time later, I have so many things to catch up on until then. Now to close this with Big Garoa in a menacing stance.

Flying in is the legendary sentai called Jetman.

latest_cb_20100202055541.jpg

"I'm going to cringe if you say it."

Nicknames and monsters of the week are continuing! Like with Liveman each ranger will be called by animal name as opposed to color.

"How will this one be divided up?"

Three episodes per part in seventeen parts.

"You will watch this in English subs, right?"

Every sentai series from now on will be seen entirely in subs.... Not withstanding Gogo V and Timeranger because nobody will finish those for some reason.

"You better give this the highest score and praise it!"

I am aware that Jetman belongs into an unofficial Super Sentai "holy trinity" in the minds of many fans along with Timeranger and Shinkenger with Dairanger and Changeman as their candle holders because most sentai are 5 instead of 3. However, I am not basing my opinions on those of others, rather my own. You saw how easily I can criticize a series. I'm the one gundam fan that considers War in the Pocket the weakest non-SD entry.

"Bbbbbbut I love Jetman!"

Good for you! Hopefully I will too!

"Opinions when?"

After episodes 6, 21, 30, 42 and the end.

"Alright, tell us, what is the grand plan with Zyuranger and Dairanger?"

Part of the reason I do these take ons is because I am journeying into fantastic mystery with tales to astonish and other 50s/60s/70s Marvel comics titles that fill our imagination with fictional adventurous excitement! Also most westerners aren't too aware of Super Sentai because nobody bothers giving a legal english language access until the based folks at Shout! did that. Instead of relying on me to describe what is going on you can see them for yourselves on DVD! I was going to skip Zyuranger, buuuuuuut I had a change of heart. Rather I will be giving basic monster of the week information and my opinions once I am finished with both it and Dairanger, but there will be no episode synopses. No skipping and yes there will still be mecha rankings, but they'll all be confined to one post and be straight forward. However, if people want I can go ahead and do the whole episode summaries IF there is a demand for it before I start watching Zyuranger which will not happen until the week after I finish Jetman. Remember, this isn't coitus, so silence does mean consent.

"Anything else you want to tell us?"

No, but I want to know when did G6 get the time to give 5R a clown suit?

Yes, this happened in episode 25 of Fiveman!

"Anything else?"

Why are Beasts of Nurgle not called Maggots? I mean they are the larval form of Rot Flies after all, come on Games Workshop!

"I mean Sentai related!"

This might be the first series where the enemy faction does not have aerial fighters, but knowing how the ranger wikia has a bad habit of not listing fighters sometimes, I might be wrong.
=================================================
Episode 1:

Nice opening. Skyforce's Earthship watches over Earth from orbit. A trouble point occurs with a factory robot spewing lasers all over the place. The Skyforce shows up to help, one officer named Rie saving a baby while her partner tries to turn the robot off with a switch. He gets inured from lasers, but manages to turn it off but jumping and placing his palm on it. Earthship's commander shows up and says she wants to nominate off button guy for her Jet Project. Later we see this commander, who I will call Aya because that is who she is, tell Rie and her partner about becoming Jetmen via Birdonic Waves to make them superhuman. Her partner asks if they will be on different teams and Aya replies that they only need five. Cut to another dimension where a fortress called Vyrock- Wait, we cut back to Earthship? A ceremony to form the Jetmen begins starting with Rie's partner. He gets exposed and experiences pain and flashbacks which concern Rie. However, the Vyrock shows up at the zenith of Earthship. A hologram appears to them named Radiguet who demands that all living creatures kneel before him. He appears in cities, mirrors, TVs, and even in coffee around Japan. He proclaims that humans will be controlled by the Vyram and that the Earthship will blow up in one minute. He then goes on about how he conquered other dimensions. As the Earthship is being shredded by shockwaves, Rie is blow out into space with other people even when her partner tries to save her. Aya tells him they must leave and bunches off button guy in the gut to calm him down. They make it into a hanger and Aya takes him out via a flying vehicle called the Jet Hawk. Once Earthship explodes the Birdomic Waves (more like lightning bolts) hit a farmer with glasses, a geisha, a motorcyclist, and a high school girl. Radiguet then sends out a flying monster named Haha (for some reason the wiki says this translates to mother). At a base called Sky Camp Aya has off button guy wake up who is made for Rie's safety. Aya slaps her and says she died. He starts to cry and Aya allows it so he doesn't do it again. She then gives him a Cross Changer, officially making him a Jetman who I will now call Hawk because that is who he is. She says they must find his other teammates.

Hey look, eye catches are back! Haha disintegrates a random guy on a bench and two kids to fuel an egg sac. Aya and Hawk track one Jetman to a house who turns out to be the geisha. Aya tells her she is a warrior now and Hawk begs her to be ready to fight because there is no other choice. Aya calms him down. Geisha girl says she has been wanting to get away from everyday life and has a burning desire and thus is given a cross changer and becoming Swan. The glasses farmer is then met, but he refuses to join because he hates violence. Aya tells them they should find the others first while Swan is impressed by his vegetable garden (cucumbers?). Swan stays behind while Hawk helps Aya. An earthwuake hits and Ragiguet's hologram hand releases orange slime that turns into Grinams. The farmer wants them to stop trampling his vegetables, but both he and Swan flunk at fighting back. Hawk goes out in the Jet Ha- actually I'm just calling them Jets corresponding to their Jetman pilot to save on time. Hawk gets in his jet and takes off from Sky Camp. The flight through the city looks neat. He makes it to the attack area and fires lasers from what look like vents behind the cockpit instead of the barrels. Hawk gets out, transforms, and swoops around the grinams. He gives the farmer a cross changer and becoming Owl.Haha attacks Hawk while Owl and Swan get sent off a rather deep cliff, who knew foot soldiers had guns in their palms? They both transform and find their power awe inspiring. Owl has a rough landing but continues anyway as palm guns keep firing. Owl says he won't forgive them for ruining his vegetables and the three of them head into combat, but only Hawk holds his own enough to beat them up and make them disappear. Hawk fights Haha one on one which angers Radiguet. Haha goes through an invisible portal and Aya says they are not ready and need to find the other Jetmen. At Vyrock we see other villains named Grey and Tran. Kind of a side note, but why is gray often spelled with an E? I always grew up with the A spelled version. Kind of like how the word "ax" sometimes has an E in it for no reason. There is also a fourth feminine villain named Maria who turns out to be Rie. The ending looks as happy as a lot of the previous sentai series, just with more early 20th century flying sketches. Next episode shows the other two jetmen and a monster hanging on a jet.

Haha: Powers include disintegrating absorbing tongue, mouth electric bolts, teleportation, and high jumping

Episode 2:

After a recap of last episode we see people playing poker at a ball. A couple leaves the bar and nearly get mugged, but the guy punches out said mugger. The next day we see Hawk training in his jet while Owl and Swan ride in her car with her butler. At a high school we see the high school chick from last episode try out at the high jump despite her friends saying she skips gym. She does it extremely well and it impresses the coach to the point of him asking if she will join a competition in sports. She agrees for two thousand yen. During this, Aya's radar picks up the Birdomic Waves as does Swan's. On Vyrock we see Radiguet send what looks like a royal facehugger from the director's cut of Alien 3 merge with Aya's jet and turns into a monster called Fighter Dimension. She ejects in time and Fighter Dimension attacks Hawk. At the high school we see jump girl doing a- did the subs say that right? A FORTY METER JUMP? No, wait, four meters. Well, she did it just before Owl and Swan show up and spot her. They offer her a ride before we cut to poker guy playing a sax who I will point out is the motorcyclist from last episode. His body gets tingly and he wonders what the hell is going on when Aya and Hawk walk up to him.

At Vyrock we see Haha detaching her egg sac and Radiguet gives her permission to go on a rampage. During this Aya tells poker guy about saving the world, but he acts like a misanthrope. Hawk tells him about how precious life is and poker guy tails at caring, just wanting to be alone. The two bicker because TENSION. This leads to a fight and Aya finds it dumb. After that we see jumper girl being told what happened and finds the whole thing surprising, but good. She agrees to help them if she gets at least one thousand five hundred yen. Swan fills out a check for ten million and gives her a cross changer, now making her Swallow. However, this initiation is cut short by Haha arriving. Hawk and Condor due over the top punching until Owl calls in requesting help. Hawk goes out in his jet and poker guy rides his motorcycle. Fighter Dimension attacks Hawk on his way over, both have a rather awesome dogfight. Poker guy sees the dogfight as well as people around him being attacked by Fighter Dimension. He then gets nabbed by Fighter Dimension wondering what the hell. Hawk manages to free him and then thrown a cross changer on him. He tells him to transform who has now become Condor. Both manage to glide down while Owl, Swan, and Swallow transform. It feels weird placing the blue ranger after the pink ranger, but whatever. The Jetmen meet up for the first time with Fighter Dimension aiming for them and grinams appearing. Hawj goes after Fighter Dimension and Condor grabs a grunt's testicles before punching him. The others do better than last episode. Hawk notices the fuel line on Fighter Dimension is open and fires his bird blaster at him, causing him to explode. Haha shows up to make things worse and goes for Owl. Hawk tells him to use his bird blaster which frees him. Hawk tells the others to combine their bird blasters and bringer swords which form the jet hand cannons. Condor doesn't shoot for some reason and Haha fires back. This annoys Condor and only then does he fire back which causes Haha to explode. The other villains seem semi-impressed by the humans. The episode ends with Swan getting her check back from Swallow and everyone but Condor joining hands, rather he punches Hawk for lighting his cigarette and takes off his cross changer before riding off. Next episode shows Tran talking and Condor smoking.

Fighter Dimension: Powers include flight, dual wing electric bolts, and mouth fire balls

Episode 3:

Some guy sleeps and his faucet is dripping. He gets up to turn the valve, but it keepts dripping. Coming out of it is a not-royal face hugger placed their by Trans. He uses the faucet to absorb sleeping guy which reduces him to blood. The next day we see Aya practicing karate chops which impresses the civilian trio. She needs victims and they each get flipped one by one. Aya claims only Hawk can be called a warrior right now with Swan saying it might be better if he teaches them. Aya comments that they need Condor in the near future and Swallow thinks Hawk should look for him. Aya tells them to stop and think about training right now. Cut to Condor trying to hit on a pair of police women because he likes their skirt lengths. They rightfully ignore him until he runs a redlight and try to stop him. They do so and Condor keeps acting like a smart alick. Hawk arrives saying he is willing to date and Condor rides off with him following through a ship storage yard. Once they park they bicker about being a Jetman against being free. After that the civilian trio go up a hill with tires dragged to them- Wait, if they are superhumans, how is this an issue? Swallow does a dick move by placing her tires on Owl with Swan doing the same thing shortly after. Aya tries taking a shower when her faucet attacks her and she has to cut it with a knife. At the bar from last episode we see Condor playing pool when Hawk walks in and catches balls pooled at him beforre saying they will settle it. That morning Owl tries drinking from a fountain only for it to release blood and the faucet strangles him. Tran laughs before having Faucet Dimension form. Tran is disappointed at the trio not being able to beat him and Aya tells them to run.

Pipes around an office building start to go nuts while Hawk accepts Condor's challenge of having a motorcycle race. Some kids watch until Hawk notices a faucet is strangling them. He gets them off their necks and Condor wonders what he is doing. More bickering about selfishness versus selflessness. Condor's bike and himself get attacked by Faucet Dimension. Once the kids run Hawk tries fighting back, but is unable to. Grinams show up and Condor gets on his bike to drive off. The civilian trio make it to Sky Camp and find out about Hawk's situation before heading out on a jeep called the Jet Bouncer. Faucet Dimension fires at them while three laser guns on Jeep Bouncer's top fights back. Faucet Dimension beats the tar out of them while Condor keeps thinking about going back before doing so and ramming his bike into him. Hawk gives him his cross changer and the five of them transform. Aya is pleased as the Jetmen assault Faucet Dimension complete with Owl throwing a rock at him. After that the jet hand cannons form the Bird Bomber which destroy the little parasite and Tran is filled with disappointment. The episode ends with Condor being introduced to the others and the Vyram telling the Jetman that they congratulate them via holograms before zapping them and saying they hope their fight against them will be an enjoyable game. Wow I have been going overboard with run on sentences with this series more than usual. Next episode shows Swan's fiance and her in her jet.

Faucet Dimension: Powers include faucet possession, eye lasers, and four faucet whips that emit electric shocks

Wow, you rated Fiveman really high, i hope one of fansub groups gonna pick it up, would love to watch it, was little afraid about it being sibling Sentai, we had family theme in Magiranger, and they keep bashing "We are family, we can do everything, becasue we are family" into your skull :(
