I'm just curious to see what books have changed other people's lives and why. Here's a few from the top of my head.

* David Eddings's "Pawn of Prophecy" - my first introduction to high fantasy and teacher of a few important moral lessons.
* Jostein Gaarder's "Sophie's World" - my first introduction to philosophy and blew my mind! Had me in a spin for at least a year after I read it.
* Ben Goldacre's "Bad Science" - Awesome primer for the non-scientist on how to understand science that shows up in the news and how to read and think about them critically.
* Tim Harford's "The Undercover Economist" - For someone who's never taken economics, such an eye-opener on how to see life from an economist's point of view. So many things make sense after reading this book!

I'd love to hear yours :)

The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari. - Robin Sharma
It just matched with the situation I was in and I loved it.
