BO 2 Zombies Ranking System?

What do you guys think of the ranking system of Black Ops 2 Zombies? In my opinion, I greatly dislike it for the following reasons: it has created way too much competition between players for kills, taken most recreation from the matches, and has almost completely changed the atmosphere for the COD zombies playing community.
