First off, a comparison:

Ryu Terui/Kamen Rider Accel

Pros:
- Hard-boiled detective
- Heavy-looking sword (almost Red Queen-ish)
- Has own Final Form Ride

Cons:
- SERIOUS emo issues
- Takes job a little too seriously
- A little hot-headed

Ryu (Street Fighter)

Pros:
- Won first Street Fighter tournament
- Gave Sagat signature scar via Shoryuken
- Constantly looks to improve

Cons:
- Hobo tendencies (I'd imagine he smells pretty bad)
- One-track mind ("The Fight Is All")
- The Satsui-no-Hadou still a threat to his well-being

Ryu Hayabusa (Ninja Gaiden/DOA series)

Pros:
- Chick magnet (Irene Lew, Agent Sonia, Ayane, Rachel...just to name a few)
- Inheritor of the Dragon Sword
- Expert demon-slayer

Cons:
- Constantly hounded by rival ninja clans
- Can't seem to stay focused (wonder what would happen if a demon invasion started while he was gettin' busy in bed)
- Constantly babysitting Kasumi
