Things are going great so far for the Virtual Power Rangers Project. My Head Writers and I have planned out a good chunk of the Bible and I am currently writing episode one. Of course, with the launch of a new project, a snazzy banner and logo would be nice.
That is why I am putting the challenge out there. If anyone would be interested in making a banner for the main site, it will be featured as the main banner as the prize and in all threads starting with Rising Sun. I would also be interested if someone could make a high quality logo, that would be fantastic. I have a bunch of Shinken images below that a banner maker would find useful to a banner maker. As for a good size, 800x600 would be a good size, but experiment with whatever size you would like. It can always be shrunk down later. For the background, I would like some Japanese elements, possibly like the MMPR Re-versioning stuff, but the Japanese flag background would be nice. Maybe with splashes of colour, again, like the photo-realistic stuff in the MMPR Re-versioning. But whatever you think will look best would be great. You could even capture some of your own Shinken images.
