Nice pics, you guys. I love those New Thundercat figures, but the weapons just totally sucked! They were like limp uncooked dough. If someone created aftermarket weapons for these guys with a higher grade plastic, I'd buy them right away.

The weapons were a big turn-off for me, but not as big a turnoff as the exposed screws and unpainted joints. I still love the figures, though, with some tweaking the Lion-O could be considered a Figuart.

Edit 6/24/2014:

Experimentation by putting paper over my lamp as opposed to directly shining the light on the figure with said lamp.

Kinda not happy with the lack of illumination...

Kaji, you can use a lighter paper over your light (like the tissue wrapping paper they use when you buy clothes), make sure your lamp isn't too hot so that you don't cause a fire. Then hold the lamp closer to your figures. Then it's about experimenting with your shutter speed and aperture settings on your camera. You should use a tripod as well to eliminate blur.

I used to take pics, but lost the thrill in that over time. Now I just enjoy everyone else's.

Like wrapping paper? That sounds like an idea. However, I'll have to experiment on where the light has to go. In the Zolda pictures, the sits on the edge of my desk and shine down into the little box of my headboard from right across it. Otherwise, I might have to have it sit on my bed.

you've got great photographic skills. I'm hoping that once I get Peter Capaldi's sonic I can get some pretty cool pictures I do have the outfit but I need a screwdriver make some great photos! not to mention very accurate! and I don't mean the Matt Smith re release I mean the actual 12th sonic unique for the 12th Doctor. I know the 1 button Matt Smith Sonic is to be released on the 5th so I'm guessing that's when the merchandise starts?
