I'm asking because I don't know how well Japanese companies take care of their materials. I will assume that any Toku after 2001 is okay, but I was concerned with the older Toku.
I know Toho had taken care of their stuff, since I read they were preparing Hi-Def versions of the Godzilla film, but what about Toei and Tsuburaya with Super Sentai, Kamen Rider, Ultraman, and all of our favorite heroes from Japan. Did those companies keep the materials to strike decent looking Blu-Rays, or is that impossible now since they only have tapes of the shows. The only shred of hope is that most Sentai DVD's are listed on CDjapan.com as "Remastered from a new print".
If anyone has any info on the preservation policies of the Toku companies, please let me know. It would be greatly appreciated.

Is it Possible?
Definitely.

Will they do it?
That will be up to the companies that produced the shows to decide.
