Adness Ent. has licensed its flagship property KAMEN RIDER DRAGON KNIGHT to Televisa in Mexico.

Televisa will launch 40-half hour episodes of the live-action kids' series in 2009.

Produced by Adness, KAMEN RIDER DRAGON KNIGHT follows the heroic adventures of teenager Kit Taylor, who discovers a mysterious deck of Advent Cards that grant him the power to transform into an ancient armored warrior called a Kamen Rider. He joins a team of 12 other Riders, who along with their corresponding Advent Beasts, must battle the renegade warlord General Xaviax and his army in both the real world and an alternate reality called Ventara, or Mirror World.

KAMEN RIDER DRAGON KNIGHT is based on the original series, KAMEN RIDER RYUKI, produced by Toei Company and aired in Japan in 2002. KAMEN RIDER, written by Shotaro Ishinomori, is the most popular and successful live-action series for kids in Japan of all time. First introduced in Japan in 1971, it is still a top rated show after 37 years and counting. It has spawned an unprecedented number of television and theatrical sequels.

Nice to see Dragon Knight finally reaching to other countries. Hope it does real well over there.

Still, this is really good news.
