About your target audience

Why did you try and force the comedy into the series? I mean it didn't work, and it just took away from what you could have been spending your time on. It also alienated some of the people who could have been your audience.

Yeah, it didn't work, did it?

Well, it was there because our producers said it should be there. They wanted the show to be like other kids shows, with the wacky comedy relief, and I... well, maybe I'm just not funny, but we never really got that right, and you'll notice we phased it out as we went along. For which I'm glad.

I think comedy should have had a place in the show, but, uh, it didn't turn out how we'd hoped.
