Konishi is also, in all fairness, one of the handful of modern henshin hero male leads I find attractive at all. (Him and Hiro Mizushima, basically.)

Yeah, I'm probably just hating Kurata's hair back then so I guess that's just me having a problem with the fashion of the period rather than really Kurata's looks.

Yeah, the fashions and hairstyles in Black are stupendously dated. Back then Japanese trends tended to run 5-10 years behind American trends, so the clothes and hair aren't just 80s-- they're like 80s++.

- Top off with the fact that he's aged pretty damn well for someone who's a steakhouse owner. Wish I could age half as well as he does; I'm over 35 and already look like a run-over dishrag... :redface2:
