Yeah, Gun Caliber is played by me, but I like to always be in-character as him when I do public appearances. It's more of an impact to say "Gun Caliber as himself" rather than "Bueno as Gun Caliber" since I'm pretty much a nobody.
Trailer Park Boys did the same thing where Rob Wells, Jean-Paul Tremblay and Mike Smith ALWAYS did public appearances as Ricky, Julian, and Bubbles.
I feel it's just more fun to have a character more tangible rather than an "actor" playing as him/her.
