This show has a lot of promise. The setting, mythology, and characters, for example. Only a few other mythologies can match to the one found in the Witcher reality. Because of Netflix, this show has become something it is not. Henry Cavill IS Geralt of Rivia. I admire his professionalism; he voiced his displeasure with what they were doing, finished the season, and then stated, "I'm done." He didn't go on a Twitter rampage or anything like that. Henry and the rest of the cast should do well in the future.
Imagine if HBO acquired The Witcher and decided to stick to the original text while making small changes, as The Last of Us did. People who are not fans of the source material have no right to write adaptations.
