Books What book are you currently reading?

I'm reading The Gods of Guilt by Michael Connelly. I won an advance copy on Goodreads. So far, I'm enjoying it a lot. Full of surprises, and a different look at the legal system.

    The Blacklist

Anyone else watching this? James Spader does an amazing job, and the premise is unusual. So far I haven't missed an episode, and it keeps getting better.

    Books J.K Rowling

I downloaded her latest book to my Kindle and read it there. It was a very good mystery. Something about a Cuckoo. The characters were engaging and the plotting was good. I hope that she turns this into a series.

Are You Easily Brainwashed By Television?

I'm not brainwashed. I tend to watch more serious dramas on TV, which often involve ethical questions. I think there is a lot of good TV out there these days that is more realistic than the TV I was raised on.

    Westerns

There is a modern western TV series called Longmire that's very good. It's currently off, but will be on again in the spring. You may be able to find it on Hulu or Netflix -- it's a mystery western set in modern times.

    Books Sue Grafton

I just finished Sue Grafton's W is for Wasted, the latest entry in her Kinsey Milhone series of alphabet crimes. I have enjoyed all of her previous books, and the new one is no exception. It was tightly plotted with two overlapping stories that came together at the end. The ending was very...
