It's because back then it was straight up gibberish, now it's just facepalm nonsense.

Yes, because TWO BOYS singing the Power Rangers theme song is a total indication that the public at large will care about it.

That being said, I'm not worried. I think, given the promotion, it won't be a smash success, but it will bring in at least semi-respectable ratings. It's no coincidence that the second PR stopped being hyped (by both Disney and Saban in their first regime), th ratings dropped.

As long as Saban and Nick continue giving PR the amount of promotion that they been giving it be hard to see PR fail.
