What about members of the villain group that were conscripted into service? Look at Changeman and Fiveman. Clearly not every Gozma or Zone member was evil, they were just forced to serve their superiors. Or BaraRevenger from Ohranger, Degius from Gingaman, and so on.

What about characters like Dr. Gorey from Spectreman, or Rodak from The Space Giants?

Dr. Gorey wanted to conquer the Earth because humans were destroying it with pollution, and he felt they had to be stopped! All his monsters were fed and powered by pollution, so simply cleaning up the planet and stopping the pollution would have been enough to counter him, but no humans ever figured it out, and they just kept fighting the monsters and polluting more!

Not quite. Even back on his homeworld of Planet E, Gori was already a power-crazed maniac who believed in government by force, and not peaceful means practiced by everyone else.

Well, I like to think he was wrongly branded a Criminal for the same reasons he was here on Earth!

Making the world better by force is illegal, even if your motives are pure and you are acting for the greater good. That's why I drew the "Chaotic Good" analogy.

Perhaps his world was run by the same sort of idiots running this world. The sort who allow pollution, and rampant destruction of the eco-system, all in the name of "Progress" and call people like Dr. Gorey and Greenpeace criminals.

Peaceful means will never change such things. There's too much money and power at stake. Perhaps the only way to stop such people really is with giant monsters that feed off pollution :buttrock:
