I liked how the opening giving of the rule was in the same location as the first episode. It seemed like a fairly normal turn of events, with the introduction of Todoroki, the last castmember who was in the OP but not the show. Laughs to be had and fun for all.
Then things got weird. And awesome.
Kotomi's schmaltzy middle-end-credits, leading into what appears to be a clip show. The operative word being "appears". Flashbacks to things that never happened and indeed never can happen, and in some cases, in entirely different genres. Then a preview for a new show (Magical Mako), which I wish actually existed in some form. This is a splendid way to go out.
