The EXO mech threw a punch towards Kazuma. Kazuma leapt into the air, and came down towards the mech cutting the arm clean off “Damn you!†The ZECT Trooper pilot shouts, clentching his free arm, he throws it towards Kazuma. Seeing the gigantic metal arm coming towards him, Kazuma raises his blade and blocks the attack. The force of the blow would cause Kazuma to fly back. As he’s falling in the air, the 2nd EXO Mech fired missiles towards him “Tch! I won’t be taken down that easily!†Kazuma shouts inserting a Gaia Memory into his Engine Blade.

JET would be announced a wave of energy was then shot from the blade, which collided with the missiles. Upon collision, a cloud of smoke would be released “What?!†The EXO Mech pilot says “Where is he?!†His companion says using the smoke as cover, Kazuma lands on the back of one of the mechs “Ahhh! Argfh! He’s on me! He’s on me!†He shouts, swinging his remaining arm “I got him! I got him!†The 2nd pilot said, getting a lock on Kazuma “Hmmph†Kazuma says, as the mech unleashes a hailstorm of bullets from his gatling cannon. Kazuma leaps out of the way, letting the EXO Mech he was standing on take the blow “aaaarghh!†The pilot shout as the mech falls over, smoke escaping from the armor. “Why you little...!â€

ENGINE! MAXMIUM DRIVE! could be heard, as Kazuma once again as Kazuma unleashes a wave of energy, this time it it landed on the mech in an A parttern, then it exploded. “Hmmph, that was a waste of my time†Kazuma says as he shifts into bike mode, once again making his way down the city.

Footsteps echoed throughout the headquarters of ZECT, in his office Youhei Yaguruma hurridily begins to take stuff out from his hidden safe, which his hidden behind his portrait. Beside him was a garbage bin lit ablaze. Youhei begins to dump papers into the garbage bin when the door is suddenly kicked down. Splinters of wood would fly spraying all over the floor. “Going somewhere, Youhei old buddy?†Kazuma says Youhei turns to Kazuma and grins “Kazuma-chan! So good of you to come...†he says standing up he dusts his hands off. Kazuma begins to slowly walk towards him “W-Wait! Wait! Lets not be hasty here...what I did..what we did! It was for the best interst of the Alliance and!†“Save it!†Kazuma shouts “I busted my ass for you, and this is the way you repay me?!†Kazuma. Dropping his Engine Blade, Kazuma approches Youhei “I’ll show you what happens when you betray me!!†Kazuma shouts and throws the helpess Youhei towards the window. The force of the throw would shatter the window, and Youhei plummets to his dath...Kazuma dusts his hands off and de-henshins “That takes care of that†That says

The Helicopter continued on it's destination, which was an Alliance HQ about a mile from the central war zone. Anatu looked out the window and noticed the anti-air fire the Oracles lit up the sky with, her wondering if this helicopter would go down in flames. To be shot down twice...Anatu sighed, hoping it wouldn't happen, because it would just annoy her again. Though they met some turbulence and some close calls, the helicopter managed to reach it's destination

After filing out and some time passing, Anatu was in a new uniform, olive green in color and she had a new weapon or two. She still had that tactical sword, but she also had two pistols and a tactical shotgun now, since she liked getting up close to her targets. As for her hair, she kept it in a ponytail now so it wouldn't be all over the place like before. She didn't wear any facepaint, having the same makeup she always had on. It was at this point that a soldier came in, which got an angry glance from her. "Don't you people knock?"

"I...um...ahem, the Executive would like to talk with you and Princess, ASAP, it concerns your orders." Anatu softened just a tad. "Ah, good, I'd like to know where I'm landing..." So I know how far to go before I get to Drake... Escorted by the soldier, she was taken before the Executive, who looked like he belonged in a stock exchange room instead of a battlefield. He was in a business suit, small mustache, thing lips...and the guy looked slimy. Real slimy. Anatu hated these guys, since she saw a lot of them when she was being brought up. Then the snobby guy started to talk.

"Ah, there you two are...now, here are your orders. You two are to guard me, Alliance Executive Walter Victoria, the current leader of Smart Brain, to the outskirts of this city...I expect you two to get right on it."

What...? This is not what Anatu wanted to hear at all. Guard duty? Away from her prey? Screw that! Anatu slammed her fist on the table, getting everyone's attention. "Guard duty? Oh no...hell no...I do not do freaking escort missions when there are traitors to be killed!" The executive didn't seem to be scared of Anatu (outwardly, anyway) and made his point. "Listen, Miss Anatu...it's imperative that I get to my destination...there is a good deal of money involved, see?" Oh, not the money argument. Anatu hated that. Money was worthless to her, she just wanted to live. And kill. She then turned to Princess. "You can't possibly want to protect this douchebag...you want revenge too, right?!" She pleaded to Princess, hoping that she would sympathize with her.

Having heard and seen the soldiers clocking their guns awaiting further order from the commanding agent knew that the answer given did not meet the requirement. For the agent was not giving them a choice, rather an order. If by any means either did not comply were consider to be expandable. With experiencing those believe to be comrades turning their guns on them did not react as she had once before.

What had stir her from the trance like state had been Anatu’s action as the other rider slammed the agent against the side of the helicopter turn her head slightly as the agent order his soldiers to stand down upon Anatu’s demand. Princess’s eyes widen even further honestly not expecting her friend’s assist nor what had came next feeling the burning sting as Anatu’s hand came down smacking her across the face.

Nursing the redden side of her face stood very quiet and attentive as Anatu berated her. In the honest truth what her friend spoke rang true. Drake the one consider to be a friend to them both had betrayed them. It was impossible to return back now for knowing if she had there would be nothing there at all. Or worse an execution squad ready to carry out Decade’s command.

Long after they had arrived at the headquarters Princess could still feel the lingering traces of the sting serving as a minder that she was right, but to act like Anatu? To be honest with herself most of all wasn’t sure if she could be just that. The new uniforms and weapons were more-or-less custom to those she had dealt with previously that made it easier. The only thing she didn’t apt to was wearing face paint, it was bad enough to wear something this dull shade of green as is.

It was great to be with Anatu again for she had a greater appreciation towards her friend. As they stood there listening what was being given to him she found it more to her liking then the other rider. “Well…†Princess look down nervously really not wanted to hurt her friend’s feeling. Even if the guy they were to protect creep her to no end, Princess felt would be more safer for she wasn’t quite ready. “Even if I….Even if I do not want to myself Anatu-san…just think that it is better to guard him.†touching her cheek as a reminder

“I will not forget what….he done…â

Anatu did not like hearing this. "...no...oh no...I am not doing this, Princess...I am not protecting this greedy son of a *****!" The executive took offense to this. "Now, see here...I have plenty of power, little girl. I can order for something to happen to you and-" Anatu cut him off with an icy stare. "And I would snap your neck before you could even call for help...bah, screw this...Drake's in the city and I'm killing him...the Enforcers will take a huge hit because of it..." Before the Executive could say anything more, Anatu then suddenly left the room, with no one wanting to stop her now that she was angry.

Now, Anatu wasn't used to asking for help, but she wasn't stupid. She knew that by herself, as strong as she was, she would most likely die if she went out to take out Drake alone. So she went around the HQ, asking any soldiers that were interested. After a quick round up, she was able to get on armored convoy with a good size of volunteer troops at her disposal. She wasn't big on speeches, so she kept things short when addressing her troops.

"I want you guys to do these things...kill any Enforcer dogs in your way, and leave Drake to me...you can kill the guys around Drake if they bother me, but if any of you steal my kill, so help me, I'll make the death that I was going to give him your death. Is that clear?" The soldiers said nothing against her and just gave a loud "Yes, sir!", which made her roll her eyes. How about ma'am? Bah, who cares... Before getting inside an armored vehicle, Anatu signaled her troops to move towards the city, with her getting inside, crossing her legs as she sat. Here I come, Drake...watch out...

Chapter 2: Tragedy

Saturday Afternoon

Alliance Enforcer HQ Futo City

15:07pm

North Tower

Bombardment of the city has just started, and the ground shook violently with each shell. The situation outside of the Enforcer building was still at its start. Oracle soldiers took refuge within the base of the building barricading themselves along with the remaining Enforcer troops. They are both awaiting reinforcements, and the order has came down to say for them to hold the position for at least one hour while all of the IT specialist delete all the data of the operations from the Main central computers of the Enforcer HQ.

Caught in between the main Alliance and its war against its turn coat faction were Takashi and Airi. The Two ran from to the top of the tower from the middle grown to escape the recently reawaken cyborg Rider V3. Takashi continued up the stairs dragging Airi up along with him “Takashi slow down… I hope mister Renji is ok” Airi said concern adjusting her back pack and then stopping mid way of the stairs “

Can we rest a little Takashi… My feet hurt” The young girl complained sitting down on the steps. Takashi sighs “Airi people are working hard to protect you and your complaining about running” The girl returned a pout at Takashi, as she pointed at him with a Leek that was in her hand. “That’s easy for you to say Takashi did you ever stop to think that we’re running through a building that be being bombarded. What if something randomly falls on you while you’re running” Takashi face palms himself.

“ Airi wouldn’t that mean that you should hurry up and get out of the building, you’re not making any sense” Airi continued her argument for a rest, as this time she poked Takashi with the leek “ Takashi you’re so mean, I’m running without shoes you know. It hurts just give me like 5 minutes you jerk” Takashi rolls his eyes “Alright 5 minutes, and what is with all the stuff you’re carrying. I understand the lunch boxes, but a leek?” Takashi questioned. Suddenly Airi shot up with the leek in her hand and pointed it up in the sky “It’s not just a leek I have several in my bag” Takashi returned Airi and Uncaring look “So what they’re just some leek” Airi poked Takashi once more with the leek this time yelling out loudly “Don’t mock the leeks!” Putting a puzzled on Takashi’s face.

“Listen Takashi, fresh ingredient hard to come by. Over back at the orphanage I had to grow this myself in the back yard. You probably forget because you just cook them unsparingly every day. So it’s easy to forget how complex they are” Airi explained to Takashi, when both took a seat on the steps Takashi scratching his head at seriousness in which Airi is taking this “I’ll even go in and explain further”

Airi’s Documentary on Leeks

Narrated By Airi

Wednesday morning.

Last autumn

Outside of Orchid City

4:30am

Leek Farm

Leek Farmers begin their Day early. Here, in the Orchid agricultural Region, a Leek farmer Docrass starts his day. He starts by cleaning up his baskets to place the plants after harvesting; he goes out of his house early to start looking for the leek he is to harvest.

“The leek plants may always look the same, but selecting the right one to harvest can be tricky” Says Mister Docrass, who is diligent being eyeful of the plants he picks. “Picking the one that looks the best and has the right weight is very important”

After hours of harvesting on his own, Mister Docrass lines up the leeks on a clean carpet outside near the river which he lives next to, the river’s water is said to be one of the finest and cleanest due to its filtration from the nearby mountains. Washing the plants carefully before shipping them out to the local market is an important part of Mr. Docrass’s business. Also of times other farm uses machines and use chemical to clean the plants putting them thru sterilization. But Mr. Docrass spends his entire morning washing each leek carefully one by one before he starts packing them to be shipped.

Normally, Plants like leeks and other vegetables must go through a freezing process before it is sent out to each alliance cities. This is usually done by big machine ran farm who sell genetically enhanced crops. But Mr. Docrass prides his trade here in Orchid city, and loads up his cart which he drags everyday to the market to sell his freshly picked Leek. Mr. Docrass has done this since he was a boy, his father and grandfather has done the same. The way he grows his plants is still the most traditional way that has been done in the last thousands of years. Many of Orchid’s biggest restaurant come and pay Mr. Docrass a high value for his, crop. But he insist to sell them at a normal market price and gives everyone equal share of the crops he brings day to day. Now, the question of who will carry on his farming traditions bothers him.

“With the war and the Alliance still putting itself together. This job is labor intensive it is also very difficult to grow thing the traditional way with all these machines ran farms surrounding you” Mr. Docrass said with a concern look on his face “My Son has gone off to war and has yet to return, I would like to pass the traditions on to him when he comes back, even if it doesn’t pay much. The knowledge should be passed down” Dorcass said sitting down to a cup of warm tea.

As he spends most of his days planting and harvesting the leek plants, the question is what keeps him going? Mister Docrass looks off into the distance and takes a sip of his tea and simply replies.
“People who eat them are happy. that to me is the best feeling”

Saturday Afternoon

Alliance Enforcer HQ Futo City

15:13pm

North Tower

“So as you can See Takashi, these leeks are important and rare. It takes lot of hard work to get them especially these fresh ones over here in my bag” Airi talked with her eyes closed as she sat on the steps taking a break from all the running they been doing earlier today. As she opened her eyes Takashi was no longer in sight “Takashi? Takashi where are you?” Airi said getting up pointing her leek from side to side looking for Takashi. “Up here hurry up” Takashi said yelling down from another floor.

“Hey you didn’t even listen to me?!” Airi yelled out “Naw not really it was too boring, I couldn’t hear it over the sound of me ignoring you” Takashi replied as Airi pouted. A woman in a black uniform approached her “Don’t worry he’s just too serious for his own good” The woman said holding shoes for Airi to put on “Miss Angel?” Takashi said looking down and then quickly running down the steps to meet her.

“There no need to keep climbing the stairs, the Helipad has been taken out we’ll have to find another way out” Angel said signaling the two kids to follow her out into another hall. “So how are we going to get out then Miss Angel?” Airi asked curiously Angel adjusted her mask and then stopped in front of a room. “I’ll worry about that, why don’t you two sit out here and eat something I’ll be right back out. Don’t worry I have this entire floor secured with our troops. I’ll be right back” Angel said and entered the room. Puzzling both Airi and Takashi, a smirk grows on Airi’s face “See Takashi I told you everything will work itself out” Takashi glares and then sighs at Airi’s comment she sure is taking it easy for someone who’s life is in danger

Saturday Afternoon

War Zone Futo City

15:00pm

Suburban Area

As fast and far as his feet could take him, Roxas ran into the back hallways of the shopping center. Knowing that he had gained some distance he took it slower using the wall as a guide to take him deeper into the undergrounds, a place he hoped Victor wouldn’t try to look for him. Eventually he had to sit back down to catch his breath, his lungs wasn’t exactly in the best of conditions as his fight with Tessa. you got be pretty good Tessa, but… I’m not in a hurry to join ya just yet Roxas’s thought was cut short as he heard many footsteps running down the hall toward. “There he is around that corner”

Roxas looks down on the floor near him; his blood trail was a dead giveaway. Roxas reaches for a pistol he picked up and opened up the chamber, only four shots remained. “Remember what the commander said; fight him from afar do not close in” The soldier said and started stacking up around the corner, the point man with a shot gun was first. A loud pump loading of a shotgun is unmistakable, hearing it Roxas reached for his pocket, and started to fill the clip with three more rounds that he had pick up earlier. Feeding the fire arm the slide loaded the round, and the weapon was ready to fire. Roxas closed his eyes and rested his head on the wall imagining a conversation from the past.

We can start over; just get away from this place away from the war.

“It’s not that easy, even if we did…without the”

Then we’ll live the moment…Roxas

He opened his eyes the man smiled taking a deep breath; his lungs faltered causing him to cough heavily for a moment. His eyes tear up, but his eyes were as sharp as ever a serious look engulfed his face. “GO , GO , GO” the soldier said and came out with his charge, the round coming through the halls and breaking apart echoed as they passed the corner where Roxas sat, hiding. Everything seem slowed down, everything echoed the seconds whom passed seem like a life time. The soldiers stopped half way in the hall to not get too close to Roxas, his life wasn’t a priority therefore killing him outright was the objective.

Roxas slowly reached around the corner, sticking out only his gun and fired out a couple of rounds to send of the soldiers back into hiding. He looked around from left to right to see if they were anyways out of this situation. His thought process is interrupted, but the point man starting up his shot gun once more. “Look let just grenade the damn place, he won’t live through that” the soldier announce and prepared to toss the grenades. Roxas counted to three and then emerged from the corner, popping the the soldier with the grenade with a round right in between the eyes, before he crossed the hall to the other corner. Slowed by his injuries, he jumped into the corner slower than expected, and a shot gun round came into the corner.

Sending shrapnel and concrete pieces into Roxas’s left side, cutting his face and injuring his left eye. He dropped his pistol and grabbed his face; the pain was uncontrollable with its burning sensation. Still he continued to crawl into the vent that was in front of him, as the soldier’s body that he shot earlier fell to the ground and a canister rolled on the ground. “**** its active RUN!” The soldier yelled as the group tried to run out of the tiny passage. Roxas made it into the vents soon after an explosion went off; shaking the crawl space he was in breaking its foundation. Roxas fell into a small quiet water passage underneath the city. The splash help him with his injuries, but it didn’t help with the fact that now he can’t see out of his left eye, very well. Again placing himself back up against the wall, the injured man pulled out a syringe of pain killers and stabbed it down his neck.

“I guess this is what you call living the moment” He said with a chuckle before passing out.

The Current time is about

17:23pm.

Dual Face, observing Rachel slowly pull the trigger, immediately took action to prevent it from happening. Just as she pulled the trigger, Dual face managed to wrench the young woman's wrist, moving the barrel away from her head and causing the bullet to fly off in another direction. Though upset at the masked man's actions, Rachel was pretty much frozen and half dead at that point. Looking at Dual Face with half-opened eyes, she tried to fire off a disparaging remark, but to no avail, her lips blue with cold. Dual Face, noticing that Rachel could barely keep her eyes open at that point, immediately removed his coat and caught her with it as she slumped into his arms, hugging her tightly with the coat. "Now now, sweets. I've got you. Don't you worry about a thing," Dual Face said softly, quickly picking up the half-frozen young woman. Deciding that the house they were in was in no shape to accomodate either of them, he quickly brings Rachel over to the house next door.

Upon entry, Dual Face surveyed their surroundings. taking note of the living room being damaged due to the war. However, he also took note of the roof still being intact. Taking Rachel deeper into the house, he noticed that there was a fireplace, with an adequate stockpile of wood nearby. Setting the orange-haired mercenary down on the carpet, blackened by the dust brought about by whatever blast that did the door in, he promptly grabbed a few pieces of wood and placed them into the fireplace. He then reached into his coat pocket, producing a book of matches and some kindling. Placing the kindling between two pieces of Firewood, he then lit up a match, and lit up the kindling using the match. Dual Face then proceeded to attend to the tiny flame, until it was able to ignite and consume the firewood. Naturally, due to her proximity to the flames that burned off of the wood, Rachel started to stir some, opening her eyes once more. Turning her attention to the side, she then notices Dual Face surveying the contents of a backpack she did not know he had brought along.

"Hmm...Box of rainbow cookies, Check. Handy dandy first aid kit, Check. Binoculars, Check," Dual Face said to himself as he performed an inventory on whatever supplies he was able to bring with himself. Pushing herself up to a sitting position, Rachel clutched the coat closer to herself, and spoke up for the first time since their encounter at the other house. "I had forgotten to ask you this earlier, but just what in the blue heck are you doing out here?" Rachel demanded, her tone ever so forceful. Closing up his supply bag, Dual Face turned around to entertain Rachel's rather forceful inquiry. "Oh, you know me. Just out and about, collecting information from wherever," Dual Face replied in a half-joking manner, despite the fact that he gave a serious answer. "Tch..." she responded, clicking her tongue with displeasure as she turned away to look at the flames once more.

--------------------------

Over the course of three days...

"I said NO! Don't touch me!"

"Come on. Those wounds need some attention."

"Just let it rest, will ya? These wounds will heal themselves."

"But not before those get really infected. And who knows what nasty little bugger might come into your body through those?"

"Hmph! Do whatever you want, then," Rachel huffed haughtily, exhausted from arguing with Dual Face in an attempt to convince him to leave her alone. Maintaining a distrustful glare towards the masked man, she quietly observed him produce from his first-aid kit a cotton pad, and a bottle of iodine solution to disinfect the wounds on her leg. She then watched as Dual Face carefully applied the semi-viscous brown liquid all over the gashes and the scrapes, ensuring that whatever bacteria crawling about did not survive.

-----------------------------

The next day, Rachel sat by on the dining table, which was in a surprisingly good condition, considering the fact that the house was in a pretty dismal state despite it still being in one piece. Propping her chin up with her hand, while tapping on the table with her other hand, she watched as Dual Face whipped up something on the stove nearby, her expression slightly softer. I don't really get what's going on in that peanut-sized brain of his. He acts like we've been friends since children. Whatever it is must be some ploy to get me to put my guard down. But...it's been a long while since anyone has taken care of me like this. Cooking meals like this, dressing my wounds. I'm starting to think that he's not such a bad person after all... she sighed softly as a soft smile curled upon her lips, keeping her eyes upon the mysterious masked chef, watching him turn around and give a thumbs up to her to show that lunch was ready.

Later that night, Dual Face and Rachel Huddled closely by the fire, their backs against each other in an attempt to muster up as much heat from their bodies as possible due to the deathly cold temperatures brought about by the mixture of the nighttime winter sky, as well as the bed of snow outside of the house. A combination of determination, fear and regret seemingly melded into her facial expression, she remained silent, her gaze set upon the dingy carpet. After what seemed to be an eternity, Rachel finally broke the silence. "I can't help but think about that mission that ended in a failure. I mean...if I had more power back then, maybe things would've been different. I could have a better life than the one I have now...and I could change this rotten world on my own terms," she said, contemplating on how the mission she was involved in ended in disaster, as well as the deaths of her comrades.

"Listen...I personally feel as if the battlefield isn't a place for you to be in. It's a cold, lonely place, really. But it seems to me as if you really made up your mind, and nothing I could do or say will change that. You will definitely need power if you wish to accomplish the things you seek," Dual Face answered back, also keeping his gaze on the carpeted floor.

Chapter 2: Tragedy

Saturday Afternoon

Ground Zero Futo City

16:38pm

Guest Quarters Balcony, 56th Floor

The Enforcer Towers, a Tri tower sky scraper stood in the middle of Futo. It’s was a symbol of the city as much as the wind generator that sat adjacent from it. Just like it was a symbol to the city, it was also a symbol to the war. As its center west tower is burning down from the Alliances’ barrage, the skyscraper is engulfed in flames.

Takashi and Airi stood at a balcony outside of the building, the Takashi looked down and gulped at the height they were at, the Enforcer HQ building was right in the center of the city and its’ tri tower design has it’s north tower as its second highest. The view was quiet clear to the two as he witness the tallest tower the west tower, burning from the sieges. “We have to hurry, Alliance has stopped bombardment†Takashi made an observation.

Angel emerged from the room strapped and ready, she hands Takashi both a backpack. “You’re right Takashi, that’s because the executives are here†She said as she strapped on the bag on Airi. “I think you two know what I’m getting at here†Angel said pulling the last strap on Airi “you’re not going to make us jump are you?†She asked a rhetorical question in which caused Angel to shake her head. “Yeah…uh… we’re not jumping right?†Takashi also asked nervously. Angel paused for a moment and then abruptly picked up Takashi’s bag and threw it at him violently, causing the boy to lose his balance. “Nope I’m just going to make you fall…. Don’t forget to pull the blue tabâ€

“Wait what?!†Takashi protested as Angel got up behind him, “heh†With one quick push she forced him off the balcony and into the air falling. “AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!†Takashi screamed as he fell from the 56th floor of north tower against his will. Standing next to Angel was Airi, who watched Takashi with pity as the boy was pushed off. She used the Leek that was still in her hand and started to use it like a microphone “ ~Ittttsuuu moo hittooo~~â€

“You’re next Airi†Angel said with a cold stare from her mask. “HEY Open up we know you’re in there†The loud kick came from the door if their room, as Oracle has found them as was hunting them down. “Airi…count to 30 and pull the blue handle†Angel said as she looked on to the frightened girl pulling the Leek from Airi’s hand and placing the plant in Airi’s mouth. “ KYYYAAAAAAAAâ€

“Remember count to 30 and the blue handle†Angel said waving farewell to the falling girl, as she got serious and turned to the door, she pulled a pin off a grenade and tossed it right by the door before doing a flip to get off the balcony herself. Momentary the grenade exploded sending glass and concrete from the room, as Angel looks down she could see that Takashi had made a safe opening of his parachute.

Drake came out of the smoke, annoyed by the fact that his objective has gotten away again. “Um sir?†A Soldier asked the irrited Drake. “What?†Drake replied coldly “It’s Commander Accel Sir…he’s waiting for you on the first floor†Drake looked on to the soldier and then silently walked back toward the stairs.

Kazuma took cover behind some debris taking cover from enemy fire.
“Hold the line men! HOLD THE GOD DAMNED LINE!” Kazuma shouts Kazuma was a person who hid his emotions well, even in the face of battle. It was something he learned as a solider, emotions made one weak after all. However, anyone could tell that Kazuma was stressed out, and who could blame him? When he got stressed out, he got irritable. And when he got irritable, Kazuma was like a firecracker waiting to snap at anyone and it just so happened that Drake was walking towards his vicinity. “What the hell are you doing here?!” Kazuma shouts as he walks up towards Drake “Well sir...you seeeeeeeeeeee!” Drake says as Kazuma grabs him by the collar and lifts him up, his legs dangled in the air.

“You better have a good reason for not being in armor solider. And you’d better have an explanation for why your here, and not out there fighting!!!” Kazuma shouts, tightening his grip on him “Hmmph” Kazuma says putting Drake down “As long as your here, you may as well give me a situation report!” He says. Drake nods “Things aren’t looking good sir, our armies are being pushed back by the Alliance forces...Gattack failed to eliminate his target...but he’s currently in pursuit”

Kazuma lets out a groan “As to be expected, I can’t count on that boy for anything!” He says Drake nods “Sir, the Alliance is pushing back our position...I’m afraid we have to re-” Kazuma then suddenly pins Drake to the ground “Don’t you DARE say the “R” word to me!!!!” He shouts “B-But s-sir!” Drake says choaking underneith Kazuma’s grip “More people will die unless we make a tactical...withdrawal! The order of withdrawl came from Decade himself”” He says “Decade can take his order and shove it up his ass!” Kazuma shouts “Kazuma Masuri never runs away from a fight! We’ll make our last stand here!!!!” He shouts

A few officers were assigned to provide Princess back up by positioning themselves outside leaving her alone with the executive. “You would not mind if I had a drink now would you my sweet?†The executive smiled moving over pouring himself a drink. As if it really matter if the executive quench his thirst or not merely shook her head not minding at all turning her attention examining the standardized equipment. Though by accepting this assignment meant that would be safe regretted deeply leaving Anatu to face Drake alone. The only problem was how to get out of this position she had place herself in and help Anatu.

“My dear Princess you seem lost in thought is there something troubling you?†The executive’s voice interrupted her thoughts. Looking up slowly notice that he was pouring another bottle into another glass. Corking the wine bottle carried the two drinks over. It was not unusual to be sweet talk by guys that enjoy more just than her singing, but at least they were not as perverted. Simply by taking in the way he was looking at her could tell that the executive was undressing her with his eyes had more than a courteous conversation with her in mind.

“It is not really nothing sir.†Princess raised her hand refusing the drink as it was offered.

“There is an old saying that if it is nothing than surely there is something. Do you know what I know will fix that? It is by sharing a good drink and company to warm away those troubled thoughts.†The executive flash a smile. This made every fiber of her being stand on full alert as the pressure around the room felt more restricted for a moment. From his perspective the beautiful young woman appeared to take up his offer at last as she finally accepted the drink.

“Do you really want to know what is on my mind?†Princess look down tracing one finger around the rim. “Well, do you?â€

The executive smirk perversely inching a little closer only to receive the drink directly at his face. “YOU *****! YOU LITTLE *****! DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?!†wiping his face with a handkerchief.

“I happen to know exactly who you are…†Princess replied throwing the glass against the wall, “And your type makes me sick. There is no reason to waste my time and effort protecting a leech. Especially not when there is someone who needs my help more than you do.†As if to back her speech, both her purple eyes and highlights glow warning him not to take her likely. “Bye!†Storming out of the room the soldiers who stood in front parted aside. It was clear from the Princess’s brief nod towards the room she was passing the assignment onto them. From starting in a brisk walk moved more quickly too catch up.

“ANATU!!! ANTU!!! WAIT FOR ME!!! I AM COMING WITH YOU!â€

Chapter 2: Tragedy

Saturday Afternoon

War Zone Futo City

15:11pm

Waterway System

Roxas was passed out back up against the wall, in an unknown place in the undergrounds at the city. The tired body slipped and its head leaned over to far to the side. Splash the body lands on the wet floor alerting the man to reawaken and open his blue exhausted eyes. Roxas slowly sit himself back up and grabbing his head then reaching for his sleeves to use it to wipe of the cool sensation. The pain killers seem to be working well he wasn’t feeling as much pain moving about, even though he wasn’t fully recovered, the comfort of not feeling his body dying was something close to bliss.

Roxas felt his pockets checking for equipments it wasn’t a surprise when he was running low on everything. But it wasn’t what he was looking for “Oh right… I had the last one trying to quit” Roxas remember he already threw away his cigarettes. A momentary disappointment as he took a look at his surrounding, obviously he was in a tunnel. The way he entered is now blocked by debris, and it was hard to see. It eluded him due to the pain killers keeping his entire wound numb; sadly he was now only able to see out of his right eye. He wasn’t totally blinded in the left eye, but he could feel the darkness over his peripheral vision. “Well… that’s a shame” He reached for a flashlight and pulled out his only remaining armament a knife.

Sitting back down he balanced the sharp object on its tip, and then letting it fall. Roxas lit up the ground with his light focusing on the tip of the blade. The blade pointed in directions which lead away in front of him. Placing down an analog compass the direction pointed north, leading away from the city center. “Well then I guess I’ll just trust my weapon here, and just go this way” Picking up his things Roxas began to head down the water way in the northern direction.

Everyone knows that the waterway was part of an older city from even before the old war. It was built by the first colonist, that settled on this side of the continent is days past. It was because of the flat surface and the irrigation channels from the river in which the city sit on top of, an engineering marvel. If there was no waterway, Futo would sink into the river surely but slowly. Roxas made his way through the dark corridors. Sometime he would see the red bricks used in the old construction and other times he’ll even see the older style concrete, suddenly the tunnels seem too widened. The material was quiet new and surprisingly ahead of him is what seems to look like some broken down guard post. Wary and curious Roxas heads into the area cautiously. The area was dead silent, the undetermined mysterious place in front of him something down in his chest told him not to enter. Roxas stood in front of what used to be a guard station, security men laid on the ground dead. From the disgusting rotten flesh, Roxas surmise that they had been dead for at least a week.

“Hmm ok this is new?” Roxas questions as he knelt down to reach for what seem to be a security card and some keys. As his hands reached out a big cockroach came out of the security guard’s pockets startling Roxas to jump back on to a lever that sat behind him. He closed his eyes in relief “phew…heheh “The harden combat veteran being startled from such a little thing. As he got up the level fell down under the pressure, the door and lights seem to operate once more. “I think I’m having better luck already” Roxas said reaching for the keys and card once again. Suddenly a quick swoosh came passed behind the door, it definitely was something on legs and the footsteps can be heard. But it wasn’t anything that is heavy enough to be soldiers. Roxas stayed where he was cool headed and calm, purposefully ignoring the movement.

Roxas’s right hand went toward his right chest to the handle of his knife. Gripping the knife and slowly rising, he took a look of his surroundings once more. There wasn’t much to the area he was in just a little station over where he was standing and what seem to be a small closet over on the side and lastly a broken door that would side in an out every couple of minutes. Though one would think that it was door that caused the movements, the heavy door made a creaking slide sound, nothing like the footsteps.

Ground Zero Futo City

17:32pm

Media station 7 Futo City

Heavy breathing echoed into the communication lines within the Oracle’s army. Their lines have broken and most have retreated back towards the TV station in the hope that reinforcements or an evacuation will happen. Diend stood on top of the tower watching the situation down below; around him were his surviving commanders. “We just sighted another helicopter drop”, “Roger, hold as long as you can, battery units you are authorized to fire at will” “We’re low on ammunition send reinforcements!” Diend slammed his fist into the wall and caught the attention of his field commanders.

“How long until the computer is set up” The rider asked with a quiver in his voice. “About..5 minutes then it will be ready sir we’re rebooting” the reply came. Diend walked up on to the radio and turned it off with a twist of the dial. “Does everyone understand what we are about to do?” he asked simply as the soldiers stood up and saluted back showing their loyalties. “Alright get all of our helicopters up and start evacuating into the air. I’ll stay behind” The commanders looked at each other “no sir we’re staying too; I’ve already ordered the last helicopter to get the men off the ground. The people who are here, are here to fight for you sir”
The Rider shook his head, in regret at this point there isn’t anyways to change anything. He looked on to his computer specialist who returned the eye contact. Everything was now ready. Taking one deep breath Diend went on towards the computer. I can’t turn back now… He thought as he input his clear code, and the commander waited to press the button.

“Activate it…Activate the Leviathan”

With a press of the button, everything seem to have gone silent momentary before the ground shook violently as if it was an Earth quake. A thin vale of mysterious mist started to spread out from the station, the mist started to repel out into the building destroying windows and pushing debris out in a circular motion. “What is going on? Why isn’t any of the communication working?” An Alliance officer asked as he opened up his exo suit. To look outside, the sight was shock and awe some of his men were up in the air being carried by the dust and debris that approached him. “Damn Damn Fall back retreat Retreat!” By the time he made his order his mech was hurled up into the air, and he took a breath full of the debris and the weird mist.

Within moments the quakes stopped and the dust fluttered away from the circle, nothing remained but the weird mist that covered most of the center of the city. The Alliance officer landed in his exo suit and stood still staring up into the sky, which now rained white mist. The gains were little more than the size of pebbles of sand, and it had a sodium like scent to them.

“Phase one complete….Jack” Diend said as he held a phone to his head. “I’ll go ahead and start Phase two then… good job Marcel… Have a safe trip back” Jack smiled as he entered codes into his phone before closing it.

“I’ve won”

Ground Zero Futo City

17:39pm

Inside Leviathan’s Veil

Some time has passed since the three daring escape from north tower. With Alliance in disarray from Oracle’s weapon activation. Angel, Airi and Takashi make their way to a rendezvous point a couple of miles from the center of the city. On foot they make their way through the alleys to avoid detection by the enemy. Airi took a look at the leek in her hand and proceeded to throw it away as it was all dry up and damaged from her running around with it. As she took a look up into the air as the hair that was covering her face fell off, the dark cloudy skies had been filled with a gray mysterious mist.

It wasn’t long ago that they heard, a loud explosion occurring near the center of the city. Bit and pieces of white flurries came down on to the ground. Airi held her hand out her hair once again went on to cover her face. This gave her an irritated look on her face, as she violently brushed her hair sway from her eyes. “Look Takashi, Ms. Angel it’s snowing” Airi stopped and held out her hand, spinning around. “That’s not snow your fool how can it be snow, it’s the middle of the summer….besides it’s got this weird salty smell to it” Takashi replied puzzled at the falling objects.

“Achoo… this stuff sure is irritating to the eyes and nose…so what is it...Miss Angel?” Angel distracted by the flurries around her missed the question and hesitated momentary. “heh…I guess she’s not in a talking mood” Takashi said and backed off “It sure…does cool down the area like snow, I’m getting cold” Airi said and removed the red scarf she got from Rider Two earlier in the morning and placed it around her neck. Fiddling with her hair, she tried to gather it up and placed it behind her as she sighs “I lost my ribbon while we ran…It was a gift from the kids too” she said quietly when Angel overhears and stopped turning around to Airi.

“Hmm? Miss Angel?” Airi asked skeptically, at the woman in front of her whose lacks of words made Airi feel awkward. Angel went up to Airi and turned her around, putting the girl’s hair into an organized roll; she reached into her pocket and pulled out a black ribbon with a white cross design. She ties it on Airi to keep the girl from complaining about her hair, tying it in a typical fashion Airi smiled at the gentle gesture. “So what is this stuff Miss Angel?” Takashi piped up again asking curiously, refusing to dismiss it as “Snow” like his female companion.

Angel sighs, not knowing how to answer the children so without further thoughts into the matter she went on ahead and answered it as bluntly as she could do possible “Leviathan it’s a virus, a biological weapon…who ever unleashed it, is probably having a victory dance right about now” Airi and Takashi looked at each other with eyes wide open, before both simultaneously turned to Angel.

“WHAT!?” The question startled Angel as she took a step back “it’s just like I said”

“Are we going to die because of it?”

“Probably not…maybe...”

“Is there a cure?”

“Yeah…Maybe”

“What are the symptoms?”

“Nauseas, fever, headaches, upset stomach, hallucinations, violent behavior, and mutation err…”

“Miss Angel will you take this seriously? I mean we’re we going to die?” Takashi asked grabbing Angel by both shoulders and shaking her. Angel pushed him away as she looked on to over to teary eyed Airi and sighs. “There is two phases to the virus, phase one is basically to use this cloud to infect, and the second phase is to actually activate the effects. But since that hasn’t happened you two should be…” Angel turned as she looked up at the sky “perhaps I spoke too soon” The gray skies looked as if it was falling down, explosions and gun fire started going off, and cries of people could be heard all over the city.

Nearby their position was a downed alliance tank it’s Radio still operating “Is anyone out there? The civilians they’ve gone mad, they’ve mutated… the soldiers, and the machines they are all going crazy is anyone out there HELP!!! Hel-----“The transmission cut off, and the ground shook between them. “What is going on?” Takashi asked confused as he fell off his feet. Four Alliance Exo armor came out from around the corner, behaving weirdly. One began shooting wildly into different directions, while another decided to ram itself into the building nearby. “Hmm phase two is active…”

“Well Takashi and Airi, good news…you two aren’t’ effected by the Virus” Angel said as she walked up on ahead to face the four incoming. “So what’s the bad news?”Takashi asked grabbing Airi’s hand “isn’t it obvious it just became harder to get out of this place” Two more Exo units came out from behind. “Takashi make sure Airi, makes it out of here…use that if you have to” Angel said and she stood still. “But last time I… I don’t thi” Takashi replied but is cut off by Angel‘s angry statement. “Tch…” Angel responded clicking her tongue in displeasure. “That’s cause last time you were an idiot and used it at a bad time. Go north, they will be people who are waiting for you, they should arrive in 30 minutes” Angel instructed. Takashi nodded as he grabbed on to Airi and started running in to the alley away from the oncoming mechs. “If I don’t make it within the hour…leave without me”

“I’m in a really bad mood right now, you’re making it worst. So which one of you is first? Because it’s time to step the!@#$ up and die”
