Yep, Dereputa/Dereptor is based on Predator. For the record, here's the full list of each monster of the week, and the scheme for their planet name (anagrams of bug names) and their personal name (anagrams of Japanese names of sci-fi movies). I find it pretty fun to look at them, especially when you can look at the pictures of the original bugs and match them up to the suit.
(And yeah, you will notice that the anagrams don't always line up perfectly 100% in English, just due to some of the ways the Japanese language works.)
