Yep, Dereputa/Dereptor is based on Predator. For the record, here's the full list of each monster of the week, and the scheme for their planet name (anagrams of bug names) and their personal name (anagrams of Japanese names of sci-fi movies). I find it pretty fun to look at them, especially when you can look at the pictures of the original bugs and match them up to the suit. :)

(And yeah, you will notice that the anagrams don't always line up perfectly 100% in English, just due to some of the ways the Japanese language works.)

To the best of my ability to localize puns without just changing things, here's how I think you could translate the MotW names so they reference the movie names in question. I tried my hand at the bug names, but they are a bit trickier to get into English.

Epic 01: Mizo-ogu of Brasc
Epic 02: Zaruwaku of Gubudyla
Epic 03: Yuzei-X of Garyus
Epic 04: Marsatta of Tockeric
Epic 05: Uchuserzo of Buguntis
Epic 06: Hiddo of Ilabungora
Epic 07: Ava-uta of Zuteramedorop
Epic 08: Fandahou of Totsuneho
Epic 09: Ilien of Buswa
Epic 10: Cras-25 of Luveewu
Epic 11: York-Babanga of Daicacci
Epic 13: Powardoduck of Hogunlo
[/HIDE]

Here's how I would do it if I had the luxury of a dub track and could just completely change the names of the critters whose names got based on scrambled Japanese titles.

[HIDE]
Epic 01: Cloenca of Brasc
Epic 02: Planapes of Gubudyla
Epic 03: Thing-X of Garyus
Epic 05: Warworz of Buguntis
Epic 11: Not-Batterga of Daicacci

What I get is that Mone is supposed to be a really stubborn person, so I guess she constantly want things "her way", and that leads to conflicts of some sort. The only person that I think she won't ever get into a conflict with is Alata, but we will see...

Oh yeah? Alata could get along easy with anybody. Especially your favorite neighborhood! *Godai thumbs up*

After watching Epic 12, I don't know what to think of Goseiger anymore, it's not great, but it's not that bad D= I guess I won't be able to drop the series. About the rumour of Warstar going down, that might happen huh? Seeing that our red mantis predator's
death.
Now, if only we get more things explained, since I'm not really buying that everyone on the Goseiger team are really that happy about being stuck on Earth.
