Osamu Akimoto's 33-year-old police comedy manga Kochira Katsushika-ku Kamearikouen-mae Hashutsujo ("Kochikame") and Shōjo Manga, Naoko Matsuda's homage manga to classics such as Rose of Versailles, are both being adapted into live-action television dramas. This year's 27th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine will make the Kochikame announcement on Monday.
