Since tokusatsu is obviously very big here in HJU, what are your opinions about tokusatsu shows outside of Japan? Have you tried watching a tokusatsu show that is not Japanese? Do they have the potential to be good like the shows in Japan?

And I don't mean adaptations like KR or Power Rangers. I mean shows that are completely original, like EreXion from Korea or Armor Hero from China.

Star Trek.

I think he's reffering to Superheroes. I don't thin k Str Trek counts as Superheroes.

From America we have

Batman

I know, I was just being a little sarcastic :)

"Tokusatsu" just means "special effects" (short for "tokushu satsuei", which is literally "special photography").

"Tokusatsu" isn't just shows like Kamen Rider or Sentai, it's Godzilla, Star Wars, Jurassic Park or anything else that has special effects.
