Something I stumbled upon earlier today while on 4chan:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Power-Rangers-V...goryZ972QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Presentation Art for an animated TV movie that never happened! Drawn by X-Men producer Will Meugniot. For more about the artist go here: http://www.storyboardpro.com/bio.html When the idea of an animated special featuring the two supergroups produced by Saban Entertainment was first suggested, the Power Rangers were at their peak, and it was decided not to risk harm to the franchise with animation. Later, as the Power Rangers slipped in popularity, and the X-Men were on the cusp of their hit movie -- it was decided the Mutants were too big a property to risk with new animation! A classic Hollywood story of stars fading and rising. eBay auction: See it here: http://qurls.com?i=2388

i'd like to call out 1 descrepency in the description:

it says that the success of the MOVIE is what pulled this series from been made again. Correct me if im wrong, but didn't X-Men TAS end in 1998 due to the success of the Spider-Man series? Oh well, im just spouting out facts that I can recall, I could be wrong (as always).

but this could of been intresting regardless. Whats intresting to me is that they gave Storm her first aperance costume as opose to her silver costume she wears in the series later, witch made me think this COULD of been made before the X-Men series was made or still in the prosses of pre-production.

Power Rangers and X-Men crossover? That would've been interesting to see

BTW, after taking another look at it, the Power Rangers Logo looks a bit like the Space/Lost Galaxy one, yet the picture still has the characters from the MMPR Season 2 series on it.
