New Pokemon Games Given Release Dates

A few months ago Nintendo livestreamed a video detailing their Pokemon-related plans for the next year or so. One thing they didn’t mention was when the games would be coming out, but as of now, they’ve filled in that detail.
A lot of fans guessed (and hoped) that the next “catch ’em all” release would be a remake of the Sinnoh region (we mean Diamond and Pearl on the DS) and it has been confirmed. The full names are Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl, and they’ll contain all the content that was in the 2007 originals, but tweaked to include what Nintendo calls “player-friendly conveniences”(meaning some parts are probably going to be made easier).
The remakes of Diamond and Pearl are not being made by Game Freak, but by ILCA, Inc, the studio that created Pokemon Home…however, Junichi Masuda of Game Freak will be supervising the games in a director’s position. He was also the director of the DS originals.

The Pocket Monster Industrial Complex depends on annual releases, which won't disappear despite the fact that the games become broken messes (because everyone buys it anyway). The game's release in 2023 will probably be SV DLC rather than a standalone title, but these games generate too much revenue for frivolous things like "polish."

I'm seriously doing a countdown already. Feels like waiting for a rare Pokémon to pop up – the hype is off the charts! You ready to catch 'em all in these new releases? Any specific one got you crazy excited?
