I know from reading the ratings thread that people think Super Sentai and Kamen Rider's days are numbered. However, I just read this Cracked article and, if the Japanese film industry is anything like the U.S.'s, we may actually be worried over nothing:

http://www.cracked.com/blog/6-reasons-why-every-damn-movie-sequel-nowadays/

To summarize it quickly:
#6. Maintaining Film Rights Is A Juggling Act Of Rushed Sequels
#5. Producers Will Hijack Original Scripts To Make Them Sequels
#4. Hollywood Has No Idea How To Sell Original Films
#3. Movies Don't Know How To End Anymore
#2. Films And Characters Are Now "Brands," And Brands Never Die
#1. Once A Sequel Is Greenlit, It's Financially Impossible To Stop It

Everyone of those we can fit with a Toku production
#6. Rushed sequel may not be a fair statement, but the fact a new series comes a week after the previous' finale is something.
#5. look up Hibiki and see how it wasn't supposed to be a Rider series
#4. To the best of my knowledge, the marketing plan for each series seems to be the same.
#3. The V-Cinemas? 10 Years After? Or perhaps the original extenders, the team-ups (I know they used to be V-Cinemas; just go with it please :))
#2. Geki/2nd Gavan keeps coming back despite his solo movie not being loved.
#1. Sentai doesn't show signs of stopping and Jungle Fury and RPM were only made because of deals in place.

I swear I'm not trying to be negative. I'm just trying to show that we might not have to worry too much for Sentai and Rider's future. :)
