What are the goken rangers?

Hello, i recently played the remake of an old game called Shin Megami Tensei Soul Hackers, on 3ds. Its the remake of the game made in 1997 on Saturn. During a random encounter with demons,they asked if i was "Chabane Red from the goken rangers"(i think it was the exact sentence); does anyone know if this is an easter-egg?

It wouldn't surprise me. Megami Tensei makes quite a few subtle and sometimes not so subtle Toku references. There's the Feathermen from Persona (another SMT spin-off), for example. Plus, in Soul Hackers (and Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker), you can get the Frost Five, which are also a fairly obvious reference. Hell, the Frost Five in Soul Hackers are of the "Ranger" race.
