ANYWAYS
I'm gonna be super super cool and give you a present.
THE GIFT OF TIPS AND TOOLS!!
So first thing is first, you gotta get PLENTY OF REFERENCE IMAGES! It helps so much having physical photos out to look at while working, trust me they help.
As for the helmet you have some options, buying it, or making it yourself out of paper or foam. I prefer the paper cardstock method. After its built in card stock I fiberglass it to get the hardness I need.
I use Pepakura Designer to help out. Its a program that uses 3d models to make paper crafty, or in our case Props and costume bits. Ive used it on almost every project so far.
The program is free, but you cannot save, so if you change the scale of the file you need to remember it. Or drop the $40 USD to buy it and unlock all its badass features (totally worth it I gotta say).
http://www.tamasoft.co.jp/pepakura-en/ Basically you get a 3d model or a pepakura file ( A .PDO) load it up in pep designer and print the designs on 110 CARD STOCK. I cannot stress that enough, regular paper will not hold!!!!! from there cut it out, fold the tabs, line up the numbers and glue. It's really easy.
I suggest checking out Stealth at The Hero Tutorials, he has simple tutorials and is a very helpful dude, subscribe for more ( I swear he's getting this plug only because I think its a great tutorial and he needs some more people to learn from him~)

In later videos he covers the rest of the hardening and also foam builds
Now the chest I would suggest EVA foam mats, they're at Home Depo or Lowes hardware, it costs around $20USD for 4 mats, plenty for Ichigo Or Nigo. after cutting the shape of the chest spray it with plasti dip spray. Its a plastic rubber spray used to give more strength to the foam and also seal it so you can spray paint it if you wish. DO NOT SPRAY PAINT ON BARE EVA FOAM, IT WILL EAT IT!!!!!!
For the belt I would use pepakura again....
But wait? where will you find rider files? RIGHT HERE!! I've been waiting for an excuse to work on Ichigo so I guess now is better than ever!
http://www.4shared.com/file/21kIL8jN/Ichigo_helmt.html Here's a link to my Ichigo pepakura file, it's scaled to fit most normal sized heads and the jaw part is separate from the top of the Helm, Just like in the show!!!! I'm hiding the photo because you're not supposed to show actors without the whole mask on!![HIDE]
