Problem is that he was calling every single Ultraman that. There's no Ultraman Ace, Ultraman Taro, Ultraman Zoffy, Ultraman Tiga to him, they're just beings who all follow this one guy called Ultraman, just because that guy was the first. It's like saying Ichigo is the only Kamen Rider and beings like Faiz, Agito, OOO aren't riders but, beings who just follow what he does or that Nagisa and Haruka are the only Precures and everyone else follows them.

It's stupid.

So, why would I call all of them a just ultraman? Like I mentioned, there's only one "Ultraman" and the rest are hist brethren which were also named "Ultraman {another name}"....
