I gather that Zyuranger's reputation in Japan seems to be that it was one of the poorer Sentai, only notable for being the first to have a sixth ranger (at least one that lasted more than one episode). So there are probably a lot of people out there who share your view.
I can't say I totally agree on OOOs music. While I didn't care for the themese for TaJaDor or ShaUTa, I thought SaGoZou's themes were kinda cool. I loved the mian title theme, but I can see that if that's not your kind of music it would get annoying.
Faiz can get boring. It, along with Ryuki and Blade, suffers from the fact that the first third of the show really only contains about a half dozen episodes worth of plot at best, padded out to two or three times that amount. I spent a lot of time only half-watching early Faiz episodes, as the characters have the same conversation over and over between riding their bikes around.
Sixth Rangers and Riders depends on the execution. I'll admit that most sixth rangers leave me cold, as they tend not to be as interesting as some other team members, who then get underdeveloped because the middle third of the show is all about the new sixth ranger. With Riders it's a bit different. The usual "I'm the new Rider and I'm the best and I will be pointlessly antagonistic until you save me and I slowly warm to you" shtick annoys me. I find Kamen Rider works better when there are multiple secondary Riders, as you get a bit of variety then. And yes, it's about selling toys. Both shows are largely funded by a toy company. What did you expect? :anime:
RPM can be a bit superficial towards its' own "dark" plot. You'd think there would be a lot more traumatised people, orphans etc but there are times when they seem to be getting on suspiciously like a normal small New Zealand town, considering it's an American city full of refugees under constant attack :redface2:
Yeah I don't get the appeal of In Space either. I can't watch VR Troopers now though. It hasn't aged well. It does make me wish someone would sub some Metal Hero shows though.
I suspect the reason they don't is that they don't expect enough sales to make it really worth it (they are well aware there are free fansubs of entire seasons out there; they even requested TV Nihon remove their sub of The First when that DID get a North American release), crossed with probably not wanting to risk muddying the ground with their licensing agreement with Saban.
