Ouch. Kind of sad some American company with little connection to Godzilla does a better job than Godzilla's own company. Hopefully this inspires Toho to make a better transfer for the next release.

Criterion wasn't kidding when they said they wanted to do their own serious restoration! In an perfect world, you'd want them to do the whole series!
