Does Age Really Matter in Friendships?

The majority of my online friends are around 2-5 years older than me, while my local friends are all around my own age. A year or so back dated a girl 5 (if I recall correctly) years older than me.

I'm fine with it provided it's around that general area and not much more, I'd say :thumbs:

Friendship, such as best-friends, pals, and buds? Nope, it doesn't. I have had several friends that where at different age. Hell, even my nerd next-door neighbor and I are friends and he is a thirty-something with a job and family. So no I don't think it matters one bit.

Friendships...sure... A 30 year old hanging out with a 17 year old is just odd.

In Relationships... Depends on the age difference. A 30 year old with a 17 year old is a big NO. A 30 year old with a 24 year old is fine, imo.

as long as everyone's over the age of like 21, age shouldnt matter in a friendship. obviously if you're like 40 and all of your friends are in highschool, you have problem
