It makes me happy to see these images of people rescuing others and of websites starting up donations to help Japan. It makes me proud to be a human-being. Even in darkest of times we are still willing to fight, and to me that is beautiful.

But seeing all the other crap; from religious nuts, 2012 a**holes, gov. conspiracy theories, or retarded Pearl Harbor BS comments. It makes me weep for humanity.

I drew this not long ago. since I don't have any money to donate to the Japanese, I can only draw a motivational picture.

「Gosei Angels stopping the tsunami. 見習いの護星天使たちが津波を受け止めてやる。」

Even though we are all too aware that our fictional heroes can't intervene in real world events I do very much like seeing just the art pieces that depict heroes helping people out of the rubble, holding back the tide, or expressing their sadness. I think these actually make a more powerful statement than if you tried to address such a thing in an actual episode or comic or whatever.

I say this because as symbols they can inspire and make us smile which is just a little something that helps fight back the terrible sadness and despair that comes with such a disaster. So in that sense, heroes like the Goseigers are indeed fighting back the wave.

The baby got reunited with Dad...

That's just insane. Go ahead & make fun of them now, but karma is going to come back to bite them in the rear one day.

And what the f**k is wrong wtih these people?!

Seriously?!

See people like these just make me want to leave the U.S. sooner. Granted the average person does not think that, and they're probably right wing loons (or religious hippies) but still...that's just stupid of them to say that.

If those posters are religious & are Christians, then they would know better than to act like that, & they wouldn't wish for something terrible to happen to another country. Otherwise, they're being hypocrites.

Saw a picture of a pleasure cruise ship resting on top of a tall building. The image is as surreal as the amount of destruction that surrounds the ship and the building.

2011 ISU World Figure Skating Championships postponed; possibly cancelled

BREAKING NEWS: Just hours ago, the ISU (International Skating Union) have postponed the 2011 World Figure Skating Championships scheduled to take place next week in Tokyo.

For me, this is the most shocking news I've ever heard and I'm hearing that there's a chance that the worlds could be cancelled. If so, I wonder what does that mean for Daisuke Takahashi who had said that he wanted to end his career in his home country. Also, this could be the first time since 1961 that the world championships of figure skating could be cancelled.

If there's something about Japan I love more than anything, than it's figure skating. I don't care about Super-Hero time right now. My worries as of right now are wheather or not the worlds will take place whenever they happened.
