Fistful of Vengeance – Season 2 of Wu Assassin is turned into a film instead
Fistful of Vengeance is a stand-alone action film that is the continuation of the Netflix TV show Wu Assassin. Fans had been worried whether the show was renewed or not but this could be the compromise John Wirth and Tony Krantz had with Netflix instead. Every time a Show’s season ends there is a negotiation whether the show will get a renewal or not. Wu Assassin had been praised for it’s fight choreography and it helped Indonesian actor Iko Uwais cross over to Hollywood. Mile 22 was actually his first Hollywood break but this film further exposed him to the global stage.
It also helped Lewis Tan to get a lead role in the recent Mortal Kombat film.

Fans of Wu Assassin should watch this show if they ever want a Season 2. The last time a canceled Netflix show was given a second chance via movie was Sense8. Wu Assassin is not yet canceled per se but this movie could decide the fate of the show. It will have higher production and budget than the first season. The Second Season of Wu Assassin was turned into 2 full-length movies. This is the first of the two.
Altered Carbon was canceled after its animated series spin-off never took off. So fans of Wu Assassin should take “Fistful of Vengeance” seriously. This film will continue where the 1st season took off. The Premise of the series centers around Kai Jin, A Chinese Indonesian chef in Present-day San Francisco. He is secretly the 1000th Wu Assassin, Who has to protect an Ancient Power called Wu Xing. He is have to face the Chinese Triad who wanted to use that power for personal gain.
