First Promotional Image For Marvel’s The Punisher
The first promotional image for The Punisher, the next new series in Marvel’s expanding Netflix universe, has been revealed by EW.com. It’s in the form of a poster drawn by Marvel COO Joe Quesada, and it’s about what we expected…Frank Castle looks angry, carries a big gun, and stands in partial shadow dressed in the blood of his enemies. Can’t forget the skull T-shirt, of which Frank owns 50.
As for the series itself, it has just wrapped production and is now heading into post. We also know they were filming Jessica Jones Season 2 not too long ago…so which of these two series will we get first in 2018? No solid date has been announced for either season. It’s likely we’ll get our answers during Comic-Con next weekend, and possibly a bit more information regarding plot and characters.
The next Netflix Marvel show, the long-awaited The Defenders, goes live August 18. It got a poster as well, drawn by Marvel TV Creative Director Joshua James Shaw.
If you’ll be at Comic-Con, you’ll have the opportunity to buy both posters and even get them signed.
