Fan-made movie trailer for The Last of Us appears on YouTube
Ever wondered how well The Last of Us would translate from PlayStation 3 to silver screen? Then you need look no further.
By extracting and assembling scenes from a large library of films, including F. Gary Gray’s Law Abiding Citizen, Abel Ferrara’s 4:44 Last Day on Earth and Marc Forster’s World War Z, YouTuber ‘bloodrunsclear’ has produced a very moving trailer for a movie adaptation of The Last of Us.
Backed by Johnny Cash’s cover of Hurt by the Nine Inch Nails, it captures the spirit of Naughty Dog’s critically acclaimed survival horror commendably. In fact, it’s so well put together that were it not for the word “fake” written into the video’s title, it could be mistaken for a genuine Hollywood promo.
