Fallout 4 Has More Dialogue Than Fallout 3 And Skyrim Combined
Well, it appears that one of the key parts of Fallout 4 has wrapped up after years of development, the voice acting! We had already heard that the voice actors attached to Fallout 4 (mainly those voicing the protagonists) have been recording their lines for over two years, but now, via the Bethesda Twitter Page, we know exactly how many lines they’ve said in that time.
“Many years of #Fallout4 voice recording complete! Just over 111k lines. More than Fallout 3 and Skyrim combined.
12:11 PM – 3 Sep 2015”
To put that in context, this confirms that Fallout 4 has more lines than Fallout 3 and Skyrim combined. That’s a pretty astounding fact, as both of those games were not only huge, but they had voice acting all over the place. For Fallout 4 to beat that? Yeah, pretty impressive.
If you’re curious as to why there are so many more lines, it’s because Bethesda wants Fallout 4 to have more “emotional depth” than previous titles. Well, we might just get that via all these lines!
With the game’s release drawing ever closer, more and more details will surely come to light and show more of the impressive scale and scope Bethesda has put into this title.
Fallout 4 arrives November 10th on PS4, PC, and Xbox One.
